The condo was very comfortable and clean. The Grand Caribe is the best place to stay on the island (we looked at others). It has a small beach which is lacking at most other places, and the swim up bar, free paddleboards, and kayaks are a big plus. Pool is very large and kid friendly with tiny wading pool and several other pools around the grounds. The staff will do your laundry and concierge will book any trip you want. Also the grounds are VERY well maintained, staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! There are a couple of Very nice restaurants in walking distance,namely, Rain, Aji, Stellas, and the little grocery store nearby is SO convenient. The central Air works really well too! :) The large dock is easy for excursions for snorkeling tours to pick you up. Only thing lacking was a full length mirror in the condo!

Can't recommend this property enough! Our family of five (two adults and kids 12, 15, and 17) had a wonderful vacation at Grand Caribe. The property was VERY well-maintained and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's rare for all three of our kids to agree on something, but all said they would 100% come back to this resort. The condo is very nicely appointed, the views are gorgeous, and the proximity to the resort's amenities are great.

We had a wonderful 2-week stay in Belize and enjoyed our room at the Grand Caribe. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Laundry service was the icing on the cake! Enjoyed jet skiing, snorkeling, and kayaking right from the property. Went on the Lamanai Mayan Ruins and Ziplining/Cave Tubing excursions on the mainland. Pool behind our unit became our private pool! Only negative was getting attacked by the no-see-ums during our beach BBQ. Thank goodness for the Urgent Care right next door. After a histamine/steroid shot, all was good. Definitely recommend this place. We’ll be visiting again!

In December, we traveled with our family to San Pedro Town. From the moment we booked the property, Dawnita was helpful and supportive. She provided great information on things to do and kept us up to date on communication with the property. We would revisit her family’s property! The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of five. The resort offered all the amenities we needed. We had the most beautiful vacation and are excited to come back.

We loved staying at Grand Caribe and this condo was perfect - nicely appointed, very comfortable beds and all of the staff were so nice. We hope we can return!

This resort is the perfect spot on the island! Little bit better roads, lots of restaurants nearby and many resort amenities. Book this condo specifically for the amazing added benefit of your personal concierge with the owner Dawnita! She is very attentive and helpful with all things visiting Ambergris Caye! Our family of teenage boys fit perfectly and being on the ground floor was very nice. The condo is well appointed and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Our whole family, ranging from preschool to high school, had an excellent time here. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, and overlooked the beautiful gardens and pools which the kids could not get enough of. The property owner was easy to contact and communicated everything we might need to know ahead of our visit. On site, the cleaning and laundry service, front desk staff and security were all professional, friendly, and helpful. We were able to easily access town and secret beach with a golf cart and catch boat charters right from the dock on the property. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time with my three kids at Grand Caribe. The property was excellent (nicely landscaped, large clean pools, great staff) and unit was perfect for the four of us. I had my two girls on twin beds in one room, my son on the pullout sofa in the living room, and me in the main bedroom and there was plenty of space and privacy for all. The kitchen was well appointed and we typically made breakfast and snacks there and had dinners out (aside from the onsite restaurants, Aji and Purple Pelican were excellent). If I had to nitpick, I think the only thing I'd ask for changing at the property are the hot tubs as they were pretty small. Wasn't a big deal though and overall would give five stars and would come back again in a heartbeat. Kids loved everything and even got scuba certified while we were there.

We loved it here!! Dawnita is an excellent communicator with a quick reply on any questions. She provided a comprehensive information pack including details on the property, places to eat and things to do - which was super helpful for someone who’s never been here before! Highly recommend booking your flight to San Pedro through the concierge - makes it super easy as they also book your ride to and from the property. Concierge was super helpful and we did some fantastic excursions - reef fishing and sunset sail are both a must as well as a trip to secret beach! Very convenient to be able to leave from the dock at the resort! Make sure to rent a golf cart ahead of time - there are taxis but it’s easier to be able to come and go as you please. Property was very clean and every staff member we encountered were helpful and friendly! The laundry done everyday was a great perk! There are multiple pools to hang out at with plenty of chairs. The condo itself is good sized for a family of four - the kitchen is huge with everything you need to prepare food! There were three TVs with cable and the air conditioning worked very well - perfect to come back to after a day exploring the island. Property is exactly as described and in pics. We’d come back in a heartbeat!!

Our family of 4 with 2 teen girls stayed here for 10 days. It is absolutely beautiful and the property was clean, easy check in, the daily housekeeping was a bonus, and has everything you need here. Staying here and using the concierge at the resort makes everything very simple from check in, flights to Belize, golf cart, excursions, dinner reservations and we felt very safe here! Would absolutely return to this home without questions! Loved Ambergris and all it has to offer.

I cannot express how much my friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Grand Caribe. From the time we walked through the doors of the resort to the time we left, the staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating to any needs we had. Dawnita was very responsive to answering our questions, and even checked in to see how we were on the first day of vacation. That is what you call a great host. Everything stated in the description was spot on. We would highly recommend staying at this location!!!

My family and I had the best time at the resort. The resort was very clean and the restaurants were very good. Pool side was great for food and drinks. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I decided to celebrate turning 40 this year by taking a trip to Belize with our best friends. Staying at Grand Caribe was amazing! Everything from the booking process, to transportation needs, to scheduling outings was a breeze. Everyone at the resort was friendly and accomidating, and made our week nothing short of amazing! We would highly recommend this lovely 2 bedroom to any and everyone. We can't wait to come back soon!

Grand Caribe as advertised and then some! We absolutely loved our time on the island, and at GC specifically. The staff was AMAZING, restaurants, pools, beach and ocean access and of course the condo were all first class. We'll be back!

The property owners offer the opportunity to share their well appointed and beautifully maintained resort home in this VRBO. The photos and description are accurate. Everything is exactly as shown, which means that you will quality furniture, inviting beachside decor, and well maintained walls, fixtures, appliances, floors and dishes. The first floor location with luggage service for drop off and pick-up are ideal. Golf cart parking is safe and convenient. But by far, the laundry service is the best feature! You can actually pack a wardrobe capsule vs. hauling an exhaustive amount of travel clothing because your laundry is returned daily! For our family of four, that meant we came home after 10 days with all clean laundry, ready to hang or store. We could have packed a fraction of clothing. The bicycles were a great plus. We enjoyed daily rides to the super close cafes and restaurants on the bikes. Plus kayaks are complimentary. We practically had the resort to ourselves. The location is a lot closer to Secret Beach, compared to our location last Summer. The owner also checked on us during potentially bad weather, and was very accessible. Overall, I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Grand Caribe is an outstanding resort. Multiple pools and hot tubs including a large one with a swim-up bar. Beach and a very long, well-maintained dock from where we would get picked up by boat for excursions (we are divers). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Daily maid service and on-site concierge for all your excursion needs. Always felt very safe - had staff who would confirm when we left and came back when picked up from the dock. Free use by guests of kayaks and paddleboards. On-site restaurants, pool-side food/drink ordering available starting at breakfast, and small grocery store on-premises (where you can order take-out pizza and other food as well). Located just north of San Pedro. Easy to get to San Pedro or head north to Secret Beach (which we would recommend) from the resort. While there is a lot on the property, I would suggest renting a golf cart to explore and go into town which you can rent through Grand Caribe. We rented one locally to try to save but the price was higher than quoted and the cart was not as nice as we expected - easier to just rent at Grand Caribe next time. Grand Caribe is also very close to a number of restaurants just off-premises. A very popular location is the Truck Stop which is just a short walk/ride south of the Grand Caribe and has several food choices as well as games and live music. Other restaurants we enjoyed included Crocs which is a bit further south than Truck Stop. In town, we ate at El Fogon and Palapa Bar. Our unit was the perfect size for a family of 5 including 3 college-age kids. Very spacious with a good-sized, well-stocked kitchen. Internet/cable was great. Perfect view of both the ocean and the pool. First floor so no stairs. An extra great benefit of this unit is they provide two bikes that my wife and I would use to take short rides into town (and further south) in the mornings and pick up pan dulce, fresh fruit, etc. or just enjoy the ride. We booked close dives with White Sands and used Amigos Del Mar for dive excursions to the Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll. The owner was outstanding to work with - once you book you are then contacted by Grand Caribe as if you reserved directly through them - very smooth. The owner reached out in advance of us going as well as while we were there to make sure everything was going well and provided great tips and info. Would highly recommend Grand Caribe and this unit!

Had a great trip, property is clean, right on the ocean. Pools are great, staff is all friendly and helpful. Close enough to town to get there easily but isolated enough you did not have congestion, will be back!
