Living room area, big dinner table and fire place gives a very pleasant and cozy stay in the evenings. Spacious rooms. Lounge area on the second floor. Warm house.

Only one bathroom joined with toilet. Washing machine is not there even though stated on the booking page. Hostess offered to do our laundry in her house, ehich was nice. Maintenance around the house is needed: when we arrived kitchen sink was leaking water. It was fixed within a few hours, but still inconvenient. Dishwasher sprays were clogged - we have cleaned them and run an empty program with vinigar. After a few days toilet started clogging, so we asked for the pump. Hosts were very quick to solve the problems snd very helpful. Bio trash attracked ants and they invaded kitchen area so we kept bio trash outside.

Drevenica Inga provides the original experience of Slovak country living, immaculately designed with historic artifacts incorporating modern life very tastefully. There is an amazing ambience which is really hard to describe. The place was clean. We didn't meet owners but if anything was needed, they have responded immediately. There was a nice fruit basket ready for us. The cottage was roomy, well equipped. What ever you needed, you could find in the cottage. Outside there is a generous outside space with a fire place and creek which helped to negate the noise from the main road. The garden is lovely. The place has a good parking. Very close, there are two small grocery shops. There are also couple restaurants nearby which we tried, but wouldn't recommend. Try Cierna Ovca restaurant which is about 10 min by car. I do recommend a stay here for the ultimate Slovak experience for at least couple days.

The place was too close to the main road, hence there was a constant noise from the busy road. The rooms upstairs get very warm, so with the open windows at night it wasn't 100% peaceful sleep due to the occasional trucks or cars. I saw the noise problem mentioned in few reviews but I loved how the cottage looked, the outside space, which did overweight the noise issue at the end. I imagine this could be a very good place for winter skiing holiday. The beds weren't comfy (however looked very original)and the mattresses were really hard. Also, I was surprised the mattresses didn't have protective covers.

Our stay with this cottage was superb, a perfect place if you’re looking for relaxation, peace and spend quality time with nature. Since we stay in group of 7 people in this winter time the cottage keeps the room warm enough and cozy. The landlord is very friendly, approachable and helpful. Kitchen has all the equipment, no need to to carry any extra tools. As an heritage this cottage has kept clean and hygienic.

A need of one additional toilet is recommended as the cottage is huge and more people stays than one is not enough!

The one toilette was not enough for nine person.
