A great, quiet, self contained cottage to enjoy a comfortable stay. The wood fire was a real treat on the colder days and nights. I would recommend this accommodation.

This place never fails to impress,wood fire blazing,greeting me o a cold late afternoon,chocky frog sitting in the fridge and the bed turned down for me.......what next.... a bottle of port?.....hint,hint ...

Having stayed before I knew to expect a terrific experience, but this time……the owners outdid themselves…..on a cold wet day I was greeted with a blazing warm wood fire with tranquil music playing filling the air with luxury. A Freddo Frog in the fridge topped it off……sure will be staying again

We had a brilliant week-long stay in this excellent property over Christmas. It’s honestly hard to fault anything about the place. The house has lots of character and is compact, but in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It was ideal for my wife and I with our two young children. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is nicely set up, allowing us to cook and eat most meals on site. We also loved eating in the outside entertaining area under the verandah. The surrounding gardens are spacious and beautiful, with massive lawns for the kids to run around and play. The little ones also loved the horses and chickens just over back fence. It was in a quiet and peaceful setting, but still within a few minutes drive of shops and takeaway food options. The only thing to be aware of is the lack of wi-fi on site. It wasn’t a massive issue for us, as we just used our phone connections to stream anything we wanted. But it’s worth bearing in mind. Overall we would highly recommend the property for short or long stays in Ulverstone. Thanks.

We rented last minute as a stopover between Strahan and Launceston. The host was very accommodating and we found the property to be beautifully presented, clean, very comfortable, well equipped and family friendly. Highly recommended!
