Great place for our family vacation!!!

Great location and plenty of space for our large family ranging in age from 10 months to 85 years old. Short walk to the beach and pier. Lovely home and fantastic owner who communicated so well with me!

Charlie was great to work with. Very responsive to any questions from the moment I booked the house to after check out. We had a clogged sink in one of the bathrooms and he had a plumber ready to come the same day. The house is a duplex which we weren't aware of, but it wasn't a problem. The house was perfect for our group of 13. Everyone had space to get away from each other when needed. The dining room table was prefect for family game nights. The beds were comfortable. The elevator was an excellent bonus. The fully stocked garage with beach chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon was a nice addition.

Wonderful home with plenty of extras. It’s convenient to the beach with a view of the ocean. Kitchen is well stocked and beach chairs and toys available. Elevator is nice for bringing up luggage and groceries. The host is prompt to answer all concerns. Definitely recommend it and will come back.

We had a most enjoyable week in Kure Beach. This property was great, with very few downsides. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome family vacation. I don’t think there was another place at Kure beach that would have been any more perfect. The hosts were so accommodating and the house was beautiful. We are hopeful that we can find a week for next summer to return.

The house was wonderful and very spacious for our family. Loved the fully stocked kitchen and the spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms. Having a grill was an added plus. We were able to cook two dinners on it. Perfect walk to the beach and the children loved walking to the market and arcade! We had awesome weather which made the trip extra special! Wonderful time for our family!

Very nice! Walking distance to everything, plenty of beach supplies and there is a beer fridge in garage so no need to bring large coolers or beach gear. Master bedroom and bath very nice!

Good process for booking and communication. Host was really good at response to all communication. We encountered a broken lift top trash container and 30 minutes later it was replaced. Unit is easy walking distance to a great beach with lifeguards. Nicely furnished, extremely clean. We liked being able to lock stuff up in the garage including the very nice grill with included propane. I could go on. We’ll be back. Pete 6/18/22

The house is lovely but the kitchen is wonderful. EVERYTHING you need is there. Pots and pans galore, The house was very clean and the men enjoyed all the tv channels. Very close to beach access and pier. Walked to both, so no parking fees. DO NOT bring anything for the beach except something to lay on because it's all there, toys, chairs, kites, popup, etc. We brought all of ours but should have just left it at home. Hopefully, we witt stay there again as a family.

We had a fantastic time! The property was clean, beautiful decorated, and a great location. The owner is very responsive to any questions you have. The house is very spacious we had 14 people staying and we never felt crowded. I highly recommend this house.

Charlie is a wonderful, responsive host who takes great pride in guests having an amazing time. He made sure the house was spotless for us and accommodated us when we wanted to move our dates around. 10 guests with ages ranging 75 to 11 stayed and we had space for more. We never felt cramped even when we were all in the kitchen! The big kitchen has more to prepare, cook, and serve with than most full-time homes, I’d bet. Every bed is comfy and the towels were fluffy. We appreciated the jacuzzi tub, the elevator, the two refrigerators, the key-code entry, the grill, the outdoor shower, the balconies, the tv we used to play music and watch Indiana Jones, and the couch with room enough for 10 of us (and more). The beach gear made the short walk to the beach easy as pie! And the beach was beautiful and the location wonderful. I especially enjoyed the wall colors and the art throughout the home. I was able to truly unwind! Thank you, Charlie! We’ll be back!

We had a great time staying here to visit our family. We had plenty of room and there was 12 of us! The host was amazing and did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely will be coming back!

From prior to our arrival to the date of departure, the host, Charlie, was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. The home was very clean and welcoming and we spent many an hour on the decks on the main and 3rd floor, both of which have lovely views of the ocean a block and a half away. It was a short walk to the beach access and the owner’s inclusion of both a beach wagon and an umbrella and beach toys was a plus. We were delighted to see that the unit has a working elevator which made moving in and checking out so much easier. The Sandpiper is well appointed and the kitchen large and functional. We were just a super short walk from the pier and restaurants, which was a bonus, ensuring we never had to drive anywhere (other than our initial grocery run). Our family of 8 (2 empty nesters, 3 grown kids and their spouses) totally loved our week at the Sandpiper! Highly recommended!

What a wonderfully clean and relaxing house. We had all we ever needed inside for a fun week of rest and play at the beach. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed this property and it met all our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a variety of spices etc. The extra fridge/ freezer in the garage was perfect!

We had multiple families, 13 in total and 5 kids under 10 yrs of age. We had plenty of space for everyone. The numbers of baths is a perk. Property was clean and owners responsive. We lost power briefly one morning and owner was on it fast and we were back up in no time. The proximity to the beach was terrific! We had everything needed for an awesome vacation.

Look no further, this is the best vacation home that we have visited in 5 years. The home is beautiful, large enough for 11 adults and one 14 year old, with room to spear! It has an elevator, which was awesome to move luggage, and the view from the balconies were lovely. We walked across the block to the beach and always had a nice spot in the sun. We ate at all but 1 of the resturants and drove a short distance to Carolina beach for the boardwalk and fireworks. But what made this experience exceptional was the attentive, caring, and kind property owner Charlie, he was ALWAYS available to answer questions and make us feel comfortable in his beautiful home. Great location close to the beach, walking distance, house is equipped with beach gear and has great space for big families with a convenient elevator. Kitchen has everything you need to cook every day. Manager was very accesible and reliable, Checking in and out was simple. Overall great vacation.

Perfect week at the beach for my family! We had 5 kids and 10 adults staying all together at the house. It is in an amazing location. Takes about 3 minutes to be on the beach! The house was clean on arrival and we had great communication with the host. My mom is in a wheelchair and the house was very handicap friendly. The house had beds for everyone and plenty of space to hang out. They also had chairs, beach toys and umbrellas which was such a nice addition! If you want to go out to dinner or want some night life I would recommend renting a golf cart and driving to Carolina beach. Some fun bars at restaurants that are so close. We felt like we got the best of both worlds with the quietness of Kure beach, but more to do with Carolina beach so close. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Wonderful long weekend with our whole family at the Sandpiper. Owner was super helpful, property was clean, with a well stocked kitchen, and in a great location. Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Will definitely consider a second stay sometime.

Our group of ladies enjoyed a weekend get together at this beautiful Kure Beach home. The home was very clean and a few steps from the beach. The owner was very responsive and immediately answered any questions.

I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. If you are looking for a family get away very spacious home, then this is definitely the place for you. It was very clean and had pretty much all the supplies you needed. The pictures did no justice because the house was absolutely beautiful. Definitely thinking of booking this home again

First time staying at the Sandpiper and we LOVED IT!! The house was just the right fit for my whole family to come together for a week of fun and memory making!! Charlie was so great and made it easy to book and was quick to help with anything we needed. Close to the pier, parks, great bike riding and of course, THE BEACH!! Highly recommend this place for sure!! You won’t regret it.

Wonderful home in a very good location. THE ELEVATOR IS FANTASTIC!! We are both aging and with bad backs/knees, so the elevator was a necessity. Wonderful kitchen and well stocked, comfortable furniture and beds, can’t go wrong here. The only complaint, and this is my fault, is that I did not read the fine print on linens and towels. You have to bring your own or there is an extra charge to have provided. I got to the point it said Linens Provided and I did not look further. This is the first VRBO iI have stayed at where they were not included in the price so it caught me off guard. This would not have changed my mind about staying here as it is a great value regardless!!

We traveled over four hours to the Wilmington area for my daughter’s wedding. The house was extra clean and had everything we needed and more. The drive to Wilmington was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of Kure Beach. I highly recommended this property. Thank you to Charlie who was super helpful and replied quickly to my questions prior to our arrival.

Beautifully appointed beach home within steps to the beach and pier. The balcony views were astonishing as we watched the sunrise on most mornings. There was no lack of amenities available to us, whether for meal prepping, enjoying some time in streaming movies during the rain storms, or taking in activities such as fishing or boogie boarding during a day at the beach. There were no major issues - on the rare occasion that something came up, Charlie provided instant response and resolution that allowed us to continue our vacation without interruption.From the least of us (8 yrs old) to the greatest of us (80 yrs old), my family raved about the beach house and loved every minute of their stay in such an awesome home. I’d say more, but I don’t want too many new people trying to book this house because we most definitely want it to be available when we come back!
