Our family wanted to find a place that gave us a break from the Florida heat and this was perfect. The house gave us the feel of being in the mountains but close enough to the town. The hosts were great and the house was just right for our family of four plus our dog. We will be back again.

We absolutely loved the Mountain Hideaway, and so did the dogs! It is so nice to be able to bring them with us and let them enjoy a vacation too! The fenced yard is perfect and is where the fire pit is located so we could stay outside for hours with the dogs.
We had a quick question for the host when we arrived and she answered on the first ring and took care of what we needed. They were quick to answer via email prior to the trip as well. 5 Stars indeed!
The house have everything you could possibly need; fully stocked kitchen, great TV options, blankets everywhere and the bed downstairs was amazing! (We didn't use the upstairs, but I'm sure those beds are just as wonderful).
We also enjoyed the hot tub and with the layout of the porch, the pups could stay outside and in plain view of us when we were using the hot tub. Very thought out plan with regard to the keeping an eye on the dogs.
The cabin is basically right in Blue Ridge, so a quick mile or so drive takes you to pick up anything you need or maybe forgot to bring.
We will definitely be going back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property was so close to all of our Blue Ridge activities. It was a perfect place to bring our dog. The host was very communicative, and the ammenities were great. We will be back!

This property was amazing. My husband and I stayed for a week and wanted for nothing! The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained and had everything you could hope for. ALL the furnishings were VERY comfortable…beds, sofas, chairs,etc. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here when we find ourselves longing for the rest and relaxation of Blue Ridge. Thank you Lee and Mindy!

We had an awesome stay. Everything we needed was provided. The Christmas tree was decorated and we enjoyed a fire each night because the weather was quite cool. The temperature was controlled well. Our dog enjoyed the crate provided and lived the fenced in back yard. We also used the spa pool one night and enjoyed it too. The whole experience was fantastic. We give you a 5 all the way as excellent hosts. We would be happy to stay here again.

We arrived to a warm and welcoming home, decorated for the holidays. It’s very well appointed and stocked. There is even a good sized dog crate and pet dishes. Fenced in yard also large. Location to downtown is great. Will definitely stay here again!

We only stayed two nights and quickly realized it wasn’t long enough. This cabin was perfect. Super clean, with all the amenities. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer!

This property was perfect for a weekend trip to Blue Ridge. Very close to many local attractions while still feeling secluded. The fenced in yard was such a huge plus for our dogs! Loved the fire pit area. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We loved everything about this property. It was super clean and we were so impressed with the attention to detail. We brought our doggies and they had dog toys and bowls and even for them to use. Very thoughtful. We loved the fenced in yard. Super cozy. Can’t say enough good things about it and the convenience to town was awesome. Thank you! We’ll be back!

We recently traveled to Blueridge Ga from Port Charlotte Florida. We stayed at this beautiful cabin for a week. It was very private but very convenient to the major road. Very close to all stores and downtown Blueridge. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. We went to Harrahs in Murphy Carlona. Beautiful drive to the casino. We also did some hiking to see the fall foliage. Also took a day trip to Helen Ga. This was a great place to stay and convenient to all major attractions. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to the mountains.

This cabin was perfect for a quick little getaway for Fall Break with my family. My two boys, 14 & 7 and our dog Scout thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is literally minutes from downtown Blue Ridge but also tucked away in the woods just enough that you'd never know the city was so close. There is a fenced in yard for pups to play and a nice firepit area with 3 swings inside the fence, as well. Also, the smart home features and hot tub were a nice bonus. I loved how clean and cozy everything was. We can't wait to visit this property again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would recommend is to alter the A/C setup to enable the customers to turn it on. The house got up to 78 degrees and we weren’t able to do anything but open the windows.

We traveled from Florida to Blue Ridge for a wedding. A week prior, our pet sitter had to cancel so we had to find a rental that would allow our dogs. First, let me say we would come back this rental even if we did not have the dogs. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was a delight for a cool evenings and we appreciated the screened in porch. But for our needs the fenced in yard was a huge plus!
Our dogs are very spoiled and very clean. We probably spend more money on them than on ourselves so to find a pet friendly house that was as clean as mine was a treasure.
Downtown was extremely dog friendly. We even met a family who bought their dog from the same breeder - you know a Katie Page dog when you see it - Therapy Creams.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Blue Ridge! The cabin was just perfect. The location was so convenient and easy to zip in and out. The cabin was clean and just as pictured. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup and we enjoyed sitting in the swing in the mornings and evenings.
We will definitely recommend this property to our family and friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This beautifully decorated modern rustic home exceeded expectations. They have thought of everything - fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable furniture and bedding, nice linens, extremely clean, fenced dog area complete with hanging swings and fire pit, a gas grill, games/cards/movies/books, and wonderful information about all the things to explore in the area - to name a few. The wooded and quiet lot was perfect. The owners are incredibly communicative. The porch light needed changed and that was taken care of during our stay. Nothing but good things to say about this rental and we would definitely go back. 🤗

I once owned a16 acre farm in Pumpkintown, SC. Over the years, and when my dad passed, I ended up living in Bradenton, FL with my Mom. This Summer has been brutal and we needed an escape.
It was so special to stay in a cabin, in the mountains, with no other cabin in sight. Mom and I both love our dogs, and just wanted to get away. The mornings and evenings were “cool”!
We got up in the mornings, put on jeans, walked our dogs, and sat on the large swings in the cabin’s fenced area. on the swings and drank coffee. In the evenings, we drank wine.
This cabin is pristine. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is decorated so well, with so many fun little surprises everywhere!

The home is in a great location and was easy to access. But apparently the guests before us damaged the gate to the fence and the hot tub. Hot tub was fine bc we weren’t planning on using it anyway, but we paid extra for dogs to stay and picked the house specifically because of the fenced in area. Without a gate, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the dogs there because of flight risk. The host was quick to reply initially but when I messaged that we were leaving after one night due to the damaged fence, we received no response or offer to refund at least the per fee. Which is their prerogative. We also were surprised that the fence is not actually accessible from inside the house. You have to walk out the front and walk the dogs to the fenced in area. Bed was also pretty uncomfortable and oven made weird noises. But the house was clean and a great location had we stayed.

It’s in a great location, access to the fenced in yard from the house is very limited. You have to walk back to the front of the house to the driveway. Did not care too much for the location of the hot tub. Not much lighting at night to light up the surroundings at the hot tub and it’s not inside the screened in area. Did not really feel safe at night to sit in the hot tub. The blind in the bedroom down stairs facing the front needs to be longer. There is about an inch and a half to two inch gap at bottom. You could see into the bedroom at night. There was some hair in the jet tub upstairs and in the detergent cup in the washing machine. Other than that, it was a peaceful area and enjoyed the family time there. It was our first ( of many ) family vacation. It is close to town and easy to find.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved being able to bring our dogs and having a fenced yard for them. We especially appreciated the flat large driveway that made it easier to travel with our boat than other places we have stayed at. The property is private and close to town. Definitely recommend!
