Loved the decor of the house. Location was great for Warren Dunes and dining in the area was fantastic

This cabin was super cute - great kitchen. Loved the location - easy to get to the beach, local fruit stands, hiking/walking trails and restaurants.

We love the location; close to beaches, restaurants, breweries and wineries. The space is great. Both inside and out. Our 4th year and we love it!!

Great home near Warren Dunes and Grand Mere state parks. Extremely quiet, very well appointed, comfortable, one story home with four nice bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. A bit of traffic noise can be heard outside but the road is not part of your vision anywhere. The backyard has a nice deck, hot tub, grill, and table seating for everyone. Easy drive to coffee shops, antique stores, and restaurants of all types. Owner is quick to respond to any and all questions. Would definitely return to and recommend this gem! Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoy our stay! The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and the kitchen was so well stocked with equipment and everything needed for entertainment. What a lovely stay. Thank you the welcome bottle of wine and delicious chocolates. We’ll be back!

The layout, uniquely delightful and inspiring interior design, outdoor space, and accommodations in the house were excellent. Great areas abound for gathering, game playing, cooking, dining, being alone reading or doing yoga... Bedrooms positioned nicely away from main areas so all guests had wonderful nights of sleep. Only drawbacks are distance from the beaches (but both were great sandy beaches) and the closeness to Red Arrow, but the house offers alot to counter those. We really liked this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. Loved the eclectic decorations and the fact that it was dog friendly in the flooring and yard access/fencing. We had many trips to the Sawyer Garden Center, local ice cream shops and 2 local beaches. My only suggestion would be to add another trash can. Since the trash isn't picked up until Tuesday mornings, the 1 can was almost full when we arrived on Friday, making disposing of our trash difficult for half of the week, and an almost full trash can when we left. Excellent home, we would stay again.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as charming as the first. The space is unique, comfortable, and perfect for a weekend of relaxing and hanging out with friends. It also has one of the best outfitted kitchens of any property I’ve stayed at. We made a Friendsgiving dinner while there and had no problem cooking or putting that big of a meal on the table. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Plenty of room! Loved the surprise wine and chocolate upon arrival. I had 1 question during stay and it was very quickly answered. Highly recommend this home.

Our family of 7 adults enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor space of this gem. Plenty of room for games, family dinner or movie. Kitchen is big with everything you need if you want to cook!! We spent mornings and evenings in the outdoor space. Coffee/wine on the deck, evening fires & smores, and the hot tub to end the day. Close to 2 beaches, trails, wineries, craft breweries, small towns for shopping. Simply a great stay!!

Perfect Spring Break / COVID get-a-way for the family! House and amenities were great. Location was awesome - being that close to Warren Dunes to get a hike in every day was wonderful. Owner was amazing to work with. Definitely recommend this house to any and all! Thank you!

My friends and I needed a place so we could get away from our apartments for the weekend and this place delivered. We were able to spread out and each have our own bedroom. The place was decorated very nicely and we LOVED the huge kitchen we had two sinks and two ovens, which helped us when making big dinners. The backyard is amazing. Totally fenced in with an amazing hot tub as well. We stayed during a big snow storm in the winter but I could imagine this would be a great place for summer as well. Fireplace was a very nice touch too. We had a hard time finding firewood and none of the nearby gas stations we went to had any so definitely prepare for that beforehand. Definitely want to come back here!

This house was perfect! We were a group of 8 getting together for a relaxing weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone to mingle while cooking and extra space made for easy clean up. Lots of plates and cups too! The fenced in yard was ideal for our dog, and we didn't have to worry about her getting out or tying her up. Hot tub spa was amazing and icing on the cake. 10/10 would do again or recommend!

We stayed here for a long weekend and everyone loved it! The cabin was so cozy and spacious enough for us. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. The hammock was perfect for reading or a nap. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware that we could possibly need to make any meal. The WiFi was even strong enough to handle three people on Zoom at the same time.

Our group's second stay at this property and it was as good as we remembered. Fully stocked kitchen is a really nice plus, as is the fenced in backyard and pet-friendliness. Super responsive to any questions/concerns as well!

This wonderful and eclectic home was a wonderful place for a girl’s weekend. The house is as beautiful as it looks online, the beds are all comfy and there are so many spots to gather as a group. We had coffee time around the kitchen island, played games at the long dining room table and chilled on the comfy sectional sofa. Highly recommend and hope to return.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this house. The house has so much character!! Honestly, it didn’t feel like a rental. My husband, myself, and our two dogs were very comfortable. Great location!

My husband and I hosted our three grown children, their spouses, and grandchildren who came from Illinois and Michigan. The house provided us plenty of bedrooms, a big table where everyone could sit and eat, and even room around a great fire pit. We loved it!

We loved this house! It was perfect for a weekend away. The house was very clean and well stocked. It had everything you needed. The decor was unique and fit the house perfectly. The backyard was very relaxing and the hot tub made the weekend perfect. The house is in a great location. It is close to they dunes and a short drive to activities.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The house is adorable and spacious, with plenty of room for four adults and two small children. Cherry Beach is only a few minutes away and was the perfect place to spend the afternoon. The backyard and hot tub were also amazing! We would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing family getaway.

A great place to experience the Lake Michigan Dunes. Backyard hot tub and deck and firepit make it even better.

Tim was great to communicate with. The house is great for a family esp. the rear deck area. We had super weather and ate almost all of our meals outside on the deck. Kitchen is stocked with anything you need for cooking. Walk the woods to the beach was esp fun for the kids. Dave W

This house is perfect if you have children or pets. The fenced yard is great! Loved the house with all the amenities. Kitchen is fully supplied with everything you need and more! There are ample linens, including beach towels. The extra sliding door is nice to contain noise or pets. The neighborhood is right off of Red Arrow Highway, but the traffic noise is minimal and almost non existent when running the AC. Groceries, restaurants, and other local favorites are all nearby! The hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. The owners were wonderful! We look forward to another visit soon!

We had a great time in this perfect family vacation home. The space is nicely laid out...both spacious and cozy. It was good to have the bedrooms separate from the main living space. And the yard was fantastic for our kids, grandkids, and our dog. We would love to come again.

Probably my favorite place I've been able to stay for a long weekend away from Chicago! Big plus that you might not get from reading the ad: - fully stocked kitchen (as far as pots/pans/utensils) - the living room has a massive comfortable couch - nearby area has a great supermarket/outdoor market, cafe, and butcher

This is a beautifully designed whimsical home in the heart of Sawyer. Very close to the beach, Warren Dunes, and downtown Sawyer. The home had everything we needed with so much character and detail in every room. My family truly enjoyed our stay.

6 women sharing the house for a getaway fit perfectly, most got their own room. Beds were super comfortable. Living room, dining room room, and kitchen fit our group perfectly for cooking, eating, watching movies, playing games. The hot tub and deck were great. We did have a mechanical issue with the hot tub, the owner was super responsive and quick to resolve. Fitting more adults into this house would work, but may feel a little more cramped. The house is eclectic and the layout is a little odd, but it didn’t detract from our experience. The location doesn’t offer much, especially in the winter, but we found a place for mani/pedis and an escape room not too far away, and enjoyed some walks to the dunes. Can’t beat the under 2 hour drive from Chicago NW suburbs. Would love to give it a 4.5, and if we do another winter getaway in the area, we’d go here again.
