We had a great time. The lake, dock, home, deck, everything was wonderful and soooo beautiful and relaxing. It was a very, blessed, pleasant and peaceful stay. We are talking about possibly staying again this time next year... We are checking our work schedules. God truly gave us awesome weather the entire week. We had a great time at LakeShore Villa! The house is clean, comfortable and has great views for watching the lake. My boys loved playing on the arcade machines in the basement. Each day me, my wife and our two boys spent the majority of the day in the water floating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding while the grandparents relaxed on the back deck or on the covered dock. This is our second year staying at this house because we had such a great relaxing time the first year. This is a great place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was one of the best homes that we have stayed at in Lake Anna. Our entire family from the adults to the children enjoyed every minute. The house was impeccable and Marvin was the best in answering any questions that we had.

In a word, Exquisite!! Everything about this propery was exacly what the pictures showed. This is one of the BEST VRBO properties that I have ever stayed in. Marvin really does take care of his beautiful home. We loved the all of the arcade games and especially loved being out at the lake and chillin' on the dock. We will definitely go back.

We just got back from Lake Shore Villa and had a great time! The house was so clean and had a great layout. We had 8 people including my parents, my brother and sister in law, and our two kids who are 7 and 10. We all enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle board and canoe and spent most of the day on the dock by the lake reading, talking and relaxing. In the evening we enjoyed hanging out together in the house, watching tv and me and my boys loved the arcade games! The beds and rooms were very comfortable. Marvin was very responsive to all our questions and we had no issues! Overall a wonderful house and we would love to stay again in the future!

The house was great for multiple families with kids of different ages. The community pool and tennis courts were also nice

The property was just what we needed. Marvin was a great host and communicated well and promptly. The house was in really good shape and we had a fun time getting out on the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards. The house is on the warm side of the lake and I don't think I realized how warm it would be, but my wife really like it.

This was our second time staying at this property. There were several upgrades since our previous stay 4 years ago. The location is great because you do not have to worry about boats/jet ski’s, the dock is partially covered, which is great when you need a break from the sun. The house was very clean and kitchen well stocked..

The sunsets and sunrises were so beautiful to watch from the living room through the windows or dockside. The rooms were welcoming and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely enjoyed taking the kayaks and paddle boards out daily, and being on the private side of the lake had no issues with a ton a traffic on the water. We also really enjoyed the community beach access. If you are looking for a wonderful stay at a great house this is the house for you.

This property is truly wonderful! We stayed with another family (including two teens) and there was more than enough space for everyone (in terms of bedrooms and living space). It was clear that the owners wanted guests to feel at home and enjoy every creature comfort. The dock was wonderful and an amazing place for relaxation. We definitely look forward to renting this beautiful property in the future!

Our family enjoyed the week at Lake Anna and this beautiful lake home. The house was well appointed and very clean. The Owner quickly responded to all our questions. Our family of seven stayed at this incredible lake home. We cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was. The house is so beautiful! It was spotless clean, decorated beautifully, bright and light filled with windows and views of the lake, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were huge, the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed and the location and lake was peaceful, beautiful and fun. We purchased the boat package which was a big hit with all of us as were the arcade games. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever experienced. Lake Anna has some nice restaurants especially Callie Opie’s Orchard Restaurant. Moo Thru for ice cream is a must! Plenty of vineyards and brewery’s too! Marvin, the homeowner, was wonderful and responded to our questions immediately. Truly an amazing house and an amazing vacation spot! Would love to visit again.

First off, this property is meticulously maintained. The grounds were spotless and the inside of the home was fantastic. The furniture is all in excellent shape and nothing looks out of date. The owner was readily available for anything we needed and the amenities were plentiful. Everything was very well thought out. If we were pressed for a complaint the only thing we could come up with is that the Wifi repeater at the dock wasn't working and there was a foul odor in the water at the house, but it was nothing most lake houses don't have. As for the Wifi at the dock, that was really more of a luxury anyway for us to play music down there, its not like we were trying to stream movies while hanging out down there. We would definitely stay here again. Very happy with our experience.

Lake Shore Villa was a great place for our family to vacation. The home was immaculate and a perfect location. Really enjoyed the covered dock and finished basement. The owner was helpful and quick to respond.

When I travel with all of my grown children, or with friends I try to rent a home or condo. I rent one or more homes a year. This is a great HOME for a family, or group of friends. The owner was quick to respond to questions. The owner’s attention to details is above any I’ve ever experienced. The home is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are perfectly spaced to allow privacy for couples. The kitchen is well furnished. The seating for eating and entertainment is great. The big windows facing the lake on two levels provide a beautiful view. We did not utilize the boat dock for boating of any type, but it is spacious. Everyone enjoyed the arcade games in the basement/game room. I’ve rented beautiful properties in the past. This was the first time that I felt I was at home and not in a rental property. My 2 ½ year old granddaughter loved this home. On the day of departure she delayed our leaving because she was set on staying. The bar has been set high for future rentals. Thank you Marvin and Jennifer for creating a wonderful memory.

Owner was always available and responsive, house was nice, clean and we all had a blast overall.

It was great to not have to worry about sheets and towels, just for outdoor towels. The amenities at the house were also nice, although we did not end up using many. We put in our own Netflix code and that’s all we needed for the little ones. Probably the very best feature was the use of the paddle boards, kayaks, and canoe. This was our first lake vacation, and that made for easy fun on the lake. Thank you for a great experience!

Where do we start?! From the minute we booked the reservation Marvin was wonderful! He was super helpful and responsive and even allowed us to book the watersports package last minute. The minute we pulled in, the kids were excited and couldn't wait to enjoy themselves. The home was tastefully decorated and hands down the best place we've ever stayed at. All the 'little things' were there that one usually forgets to bring. More than enough towels, blankets, pillows, etc for the 10 of us and tons of room. The kids were never bored and just had a blast! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay on the 'warm side' of Lake Anna. I can't thank you enough Marvin for letting us stay in your beautiful home and being so helpful and responsive before and during our stay!

The house was very clean. There was definitely plenty of room for our five member family. The owners were very helpful and informative. We really liked being on the private side of the lake...at times it seemed like we had the whole lake to ourselves. Getting our wave runners in at the club boat ramp was very easy and convenient. Having our own dock was nice where we could tie the wave runners up and come up and take a break and have lunch in the middle of our boating. It was also nice just sitting on the dock with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. It would have been perfect if there were two floating jet ski docks, but we made it work. There were several nice ammeneties the house provided...nice lake view, club pool access, plenty of family games to play and DVDs to watch, Keurig coffee, gas cans for your boat, kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, and arcade games. The arcade games were a pleasant surprise...brought back memories playing PacMan. It was a great family vacation at a beautiful house on Lake Anna with easy access to both Charlottesville and Richmond.

This home was perfect for our small group of 5 adults and 3 kids. We rented another property close by too with extended family. Everything in this home was clean and new. The shade on the deck was a welcome escape from the heat (vs other rentals in the area where you bake in direct sun). Only small downside (but isn't really too big of an issue) is that there is no garage access or a second refrigerator, which many other rentals have. We could have used that for drinks/kids ice pops, etc. The basement is currently unfinished, but once that is completed this house will be ideal as it will give more space for the kids to play while adults socialize in the kitchen/living area. Overall, great property!

This property was perfect for the family. The amenities were perfect and new. The boat dock was great for my boat. The ability to use the paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat and canoes was an added bonus. I would totally recommend this property to anyone. In addition, the owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions I had both during the process and while we were at the property. Thanks for the memories!
