You can really cook and live there. Everything looks new and it all has been set up so nicely. All I can really say it "Super comfortable". Perfect for families. Lots of fun outdoor things for the kids (like a huge sandbox with real beach sand) and quite a backyard jungle areas with trails. I couldn't quite get into all the high-tech stuff, the bed that you can set the firmness of with remote control (it uses an air pump), or the amazing entertainment system. I couldn't get the dishwasher to work, but didn't ask the hosts, I am used to washing by hand. The private parking circle is a great idea. We will miss this place. I can't believe I am sad to go back to my remodeled condo. Sandy S

Beautiful unit. I lot of hosts say they have a fully equipped kitchen, but obviously, they have never tried to cook there. Our family did and it was worked perfectly. I can see why this unit gets such high reviews. From the import granite floors and island to the small touches. It is true to everything that was in the description. I think two extra dining chairs would be great for dinner guests and mentioned that to the hosts.

I think what I loved best about this unit are two things. 1 - Waking up to the sound of birds chirping (kinda like a cabin feel, but in a modern apartment). 2 - that is was out of the city, but right by the freeway. I could be anywhere in San Diego in 10 to 25 min. My vote. Thumbs up!

The bed is comfy (air bed with dual controls), shower/bath is nice with everything one needs, washer/dryer was very convenient, the kitchen is well-appointed for making simple meals, and the area is quiet, yet offers easy access to the major highways.

What a perfect place to spend a few weeks! The small apartment was clean and well-appointed (including Apple TV) for a multi-week stay for two of us. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (including many of the herbs and misc. items one needs to cook...oil, coffee, etc.) and the bathroom, though small, was very nice. They could use another small chair (bean bag?) that could be moved around in the LR, but other than that, we felt it was great. It's in a very quiet, residential area, but near freeways and great shopping and restaurants. The managers are next door, and are very helpful with anything you need. Highly recommend this place!

This condo made a great base for our recent exploration of San Diego. It was a clean, quiet and relaxing place to stay and I would recommend it. FYI... It's best to check with the owner before booking, to make sure it is available as the calendar is not always up to date.

We needed someplace to call home for 6 weeks in SoCal and found this was exactly what we needed. VERY convenient location in a residential neighborhood, so we did feel at home. The unit is very comfortable: living/dining area (just could use one more comfy chair (beanbag chair?) so viewing the excellent TV (Apple TV too) would be easier. The table held 4. The Kitchen was nicely equipped (microwave, full oven, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and most cooking pots and pans. Even a rice cooker. The bed was a queen with air controls for each side which really weren't needed. We found it and the pillows comfortable. Ample closet space (a few more hangers would have been nice.) Iron and ironing board. Nice stacked washer-dryer with Tide liquid available, too. Small bathroom with nice shower (slippery tub floor so they might want to add a slipproof mat for inside the tub) and nice lighting and plenty of storage space. The local area has loads of easy shopping for anything you need, as well as excellent restaurants (Omelette Factory, Anny's Hamburgers, Mary's Donuts, and Rita's Italian Ice...yes, we have huge sweet tooth! And all the chains: Olive Garden, Mimi's, etc.) If you're a quilter there is an outstanding quilt shop within 2 miles. Now, the best part are your landlord/landlady who are wonderful! If there is anything they can do to make your stay better, they are willing to do it. They live next door, so you have easy access. Parking for the unit is just below the unit so you do need to walk up a small hill driveway, but you can drive up, let out any passenger and packages, and return to park the car. It was totally quiet. If you arrive after dark, you will have a problem finding the place, so make sure to try and get there in the light, or text Mike to meet you as you drive up the street towards the unit. We are hoping that this isn't the last time we come visit here!

The best part our stay was the hosts Mike and Dakee. Very accommodating to our last minute request making the booking process stressfree as we really wanted to get away from our long winter. Greatly appreciate letting us stay in the amazing vacation rental. A very helpful self check in guide was provide with very through instructions on how what to look for, where to park and how to basically check in by yourself. The location has an amazing view and very close to amenities. The unit was spotless and felt very at home. We were welcomed by Dakee and their beautiful daughter who immediately played with our daughter. The toys make it very Kid Friendly. The living room was spacious for our little one to crawl around. The bedroom was very comfortable and felt like were at the beach with the ocean like decor! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need even a full fresh bag of Starbucks beans to grind was such a treat! The bathroom has its very own private hot tub which my husband truly enjoyed. It was even stocked with bath foam, shampoo and conditioner. Having 2 cable TV was so convenient so the kids could watch a show while the adults could their show too! It is also so nice to have a washer and dryer especially for kids when they get so messy. Can’t beat also the amazing price, such great value. We will definitely return and look forward to visiting the Solomon’s again!

Close to resources and amenities, easy access to freeways. Yet Mike's quiet place feels you are somewhere in the remote country and this is really refreshing after a busy day in the city. The other thing to stand out is how remarkably the condo is furnished and how every detail thoughtfully caters to creature comfort. My husband and I came to visit San Diego with our two kids during holidays and we all had so much fun! The owners were helpful and very friendly. The area was quiet and beautiful. It was close food and shopping and had easy access to highways. Would absolutely book again on my next visit.

My family and I came to San Diego to look for a house, as I start my new job here. We picked the perfect place. This unit is newly remodeled, so everything is brand new. It is packed with everything we could want. I love to cook, so having a fully stocked kitchen was great. They even have a rice cooker! The fresh Starbucks coffee was a great treat, but what I like best is the quietness and safeness of the neighborhood. It was only 4 minutes from the 2 main freeways in San Diego. That made house hunting very easy. The privacy of the place was great. The view is amazing. My kids enjoyed watching the restored vintage WWII planes landing at Gillespie Field. They also enjoyed hiking on the trails and boulder in the huge 1-acre backyard area. My husband and I slept in the master bedroom, which was all turquoise color, and our kids slept on the sofa-sleeper in the living room. Both beds were very comfortable. We are not big TV watchers, so we didn’t use the entertainment system and the high-tech on-demand movie service. The ultra-fast Internet was helpful in finding out new house. Having a mailing address to use helped with our job search. On weekends, we were able to get to downtown or the beach in around 25 minutes. I would recommend this place to any people relocating to San Diego, needing long-term temporary accommodations, or even taking a long vacation in this beautiful city. Yoriko and family
