We had a fabulous time here hanging with the cows from the neighbouring property The house is fantastic!!!

Our family of four had an amazing time, so relaxing and the views are to die for. Even my teenage boys kept busy, riding their bikes through the paddocks, playing table tennis and hiking through the bush land on the property. House is so comfy and clean too. My highlights were the sunrises, and the sounds of nature. Highly recommend thanks Fleur.

From when we arrived to when we departed , a sense of space and peace just felt so rejuvenating. The property was scrupulously clean and the wild ,rugged outlook made us all forget about any worries. Thank you.

Well maintained property surrounded by beautiful countryside & ocean views in the distance. Cows & sheep roam in adjacent paddocks. Kitchen is well stocked & cleanliness is superb. Sheerback is a luxurious house with a view to die for. Plenty of walks in the neighbourhood. However the weather was atrocious for our five day stay. The newly installed TV had not been properly tuned and was missing an aerial cable. Luckily we had plenty of DVDs with us and we’re able to pass the time whilst the rain lashed down. We would love to return with better weather

The views across the property to the Prom are simply spectacular in any weather. Fleur was an excellent hostess...great communication and she provided such a thorough "to do list" of activities in the area, which was fantastic! Thank-you for sharing your lovely slice of paradise with us...we will be back.

Just brilliant for adults and kids. The modern house belies its humble exterior. Walkerville South Beach (7 minutes away) is world class. Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Had a great family getaway at this property, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across to Wilsons Promontory and close to great beaches. The house had everything you needed for a well equipped holiday. Modern and well appointed and easy check in process. Would love to say again some time.

The moment we stepped into the beautiful house, we instantly felt comfortable and when we were greeted with the most wonderful view our bodies and mind started to unwind and relax. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. We didn’t have great weather but we still enjoyed lightning the fire and lazing around and snoozing all day. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was lovely waking up in the morning and looking out at that view and listening to the sounds of the birds and cattle. Even our teenage boys loved exploring the land and playing table tennis in the shed and commented on how great and relaxing it was. Our host Fleur was very lovely and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be returning to Shellback and thank you for providing us with the perfect house to escape to and help us forget about our busy stressful life.

Firstly, thank you to Fleur for being such a wonderful host and providing such excellent advice and information. This is a beautiful property with views of the Prom in the distance on a clear day. We loved listening to the newborn lambs during the day and a chorus of frogs at night. The house was clean and cosy, the beds and furniture comfortable and the native garden was in flower. We enjoyed the wood heater and sitting out on the deck in the sun. The Cape Liptrap Lighthouse is at the end of the road and the beautiful Walkerville South beach is close by. Fish Creek is a lovely town in the area. Gibson's is our favourite cafe there but is only open Friday to Sunday. Foster is the place to go if you need anything from a supermarket but as Fleur suggests, better to take everything you need with you. We very much look forward to our next stay at Shellback.

Wonderful views from a modern, well-appointed property in a secluded location. We had a lovely time, enjoying walks and wildlife spotting with our french exchange student. Advice to come well-prepared with food is appropriate as it's a half-hour drive to the nearest town with a supermarket. Great location in winter. Should be stunning in the warmer months!

Our family absolutely loved our weekend away at Shellback. We appreciated the ambience of the home - warm and cosy as well as light and bright. Happy space for adults and children alike. The property had great views, wonderful seclusion, lovely to walk in the bush on the property and take in nature. Good for the soul. We also really enjoyed exploring Walkerville and surrounds. The beaches, the rocks, the bush were wonderful playgrounds for our whole family. We will be back we hope!! Thank you. Thank you.

My family and I had wonderful stay at Shellback. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape with great views. A comfortable house which was clean and had a lovely homely feel. We would love to come back again!

We had a restful and comfortable few days. Lots of wildlife around us, minutes from the quiet and unspoilt Walkerville South beach. Happily not many people seem to know of this magic location. Our 5th trip to Walkerville and we will definitely choose Shellback again.

We had a great five night stay at ‘shellback.’ The place is fantastic with grounds to explore, fantastic views and a great and comfortable set up. Clean, classy and well equipped. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

If you are looking for a property away from it all then this is it. Views out over Wilsons Prom and the large property meant it was super quiet and peaceful. Loved getting up early and sipping a coffee on the deck whilst watching the sun rise. Tip for guests is bring some comfy fold out chairs to lounge around on out in the deck. There is a large timber table and chairs which were great, but would have been great to have something a little more comfy to just chill out on when outside. Other than that minor tip, the property was fantastic. So remote and relaxing!!!

This has been a wonderful stay. Surrounded by peace and tranquility with great views of the Prom. Lots of birdlife. A very, very comfortable house that was spotlessly clean and fresh. A great kitchen with excellent appliances. Front and rear decks. Till next time...............................

An excellent property on the road to Cape Liptrap which, on a lovely day, you can see for miles across to the Prom. An unforgiving coastline otherwise! This turned out to be a comfortable property with all facilities - 2 couples - and everything went very smoothly! An excellent kitchen with large fridge, quality seating on decks front & rear, we enjoyed a few barbeques. Am unsure who was the most mystified or who had the better views, us or the cattle in the front paddock. Over the stiles we took a glorious walk in the old woodland which was a special treat. We visited Maitlands Beach which, at low tide, is another great walk. We included a visit to Bald Hills Wetlands & Sandy Point area & the nearby Walkerville Beach with its historical lime kilns & pioneer cemetery (watch out for the wombat!). Shellback has a converted garage for table tennis & games & I regret to say I neglected to include in my album a photo of my sister & I enjoying a little cup of tea in the cubbyhouse.- a very enjoyable stay all round!!
