We liked everything about the hotel which is why we returned after originally staying in February 2023. A special note of thanks to Tania & Luis on the Reception desk who were outstanding in looking after us. They dealt swiftly with a problem we had with the room safe and also arranged a professional tour of the island for us.

roof top pool was not heated - so only brave kids went in, for a couple of minutes - some adults tried but came straight back out.

This is a modern, elegant hotel that has a great central location in Funchal. Near to shops and the seafront but on a quiet street. The staff were very friendly, warm and helpful. The rooftop bar / lounge area felt like a hidden gem in the area. We would happily return.

Not much. A more spacious balcony would have been better, and maybe a second armchair in the room.

La colazione era ottima e ben esposta , ricca di varietà di cibo sia dolce che salato. La posizione dell'Hotel perfetta per la viabilità sia di uscita verso le mete turistiche che verso il centro città.

Difficile dire cosa migliorerei, probabilmente la situazione del parking che offre solamente pochi posti a rotazione ed a un costo eccessivo.

The city centre location was fantastic and the rooftop bar with pool was a great find - perfect for some chill time after exploring.

Everything the room was a good size and very quart the staff very clean breakfast was plenty and as much as you want. Very handy for everything shops food cable car.

Very friendly staff! Helped us really with everything. Also we could see the water and had a balcony.

Parking was 15 € per day more, that would have been very nice, to have for free. And I did not liked the beds, but that’s probably an individual thing & it would be definitely nice if houseslippers and bathropes where just always on the room from check in on. (More of a recommendation).

Sauberes schönes Hotel in mitten vom Zentrum. Alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Bar auf dem Dach ist sehr schön, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den Hafen.

Frühstück war reichlich, aber keine frischen Eierspeisen.

Pobyt nás natolik okouzlil, že se plánujeme vrátit v létě jak na kouzelný ostrov, tak do stejného hotelu. Služby hotelu na skvělé úrovni, ochotný personál, pokoje i prostory čisté, snídaně i večeře chutné.

pequenos detalhes, o frigobar estava estragado e não havia as garrafinhas de água de cortesia, hoje habituais na maioria dos hoteis.

Welcoming & friendly staff. Clean & comfortable rooms. Breakfast was well prepared and lots of choice. Option of evening meals too. Good facilities, eg pool and sun deck. Nice to have the entertainment in the bar for a couple of evenings. All round excellent service.

le roof top, l’emplacement très pratique pour aller en ville, plein de magasin au alentour, location de voiture à 5 min, le balcon, le restaurant est simple mais efface, le petit déjeune est bon. le personnel adorable et super sympa ! j’ai même eu un plat spécial(riz et poisson sans rien) que j’ai demandée car j’avais eu la diarrhée à cause du voyage. et mon mari a demandé un cocktail qui était pas sur la carte et il a eu. super séjour !

- piscine pas chauffée donc fraîche en avril avec vent et nuages mais je pense qu’en été ça importe peu. - les coussins et matelas car j’ai des soucis de dos

The breakfast buffet was apalling. Undrinkable coffee. Vile cheap instant stuff. Cheapest mass produced shelf stabilized orange juice. Again, undrinkable. Madeira has wonderful delta ground coffee and fresh squeeze orange juice available widely across the island. It’s huge oversight by this hotel that it fails to incorporate these into the breakfast buffet. And it was big disappointment for us such that went elsewhere for breakfast every day after our first experience of the breakfast buffet.

Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice could have been better if they supplied mugs as well as cups. It was my wife’s birthday when we stayed and with out prompting then we received a bottle of bubbles.

Localização optima, quartos grandes e confortáveis, funcionários extremamente prestáveis (inclusive esqueci algo no hotel e prontamente me contactaram). Uma experiência muitíssimo positiva e ficaríamos de novo numa outra visita :)

Não é um ponto negativo muito forte, mas confesso que acabámos por achar que a variedade do pequeno almoço não correspondia ao nível do resto do hotel (apesar de mesmo assim a comida ser boa!)

We choose this for the location near to the old town. Staff very helpful.

Basement breakfast buffet was purely functional but not a enjoyable moment as no natural light & quite depressing atmosphere. Food was ok.

Posizionato a 500-800 metri a piedi dal mercato, città vecchia, teleferico e lungomare. In 15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge tutta la parte storica della città. Ci sono fermate di autobus a poche centinaia di metri per andare un po' dappertutto, inclusa la fermata dell'autobus dell'aeroporto. Hotel molto pulito, stanza ampia e accogliente, bagno ampio con box doccia e phon potente, terrazzo non visibile dalle stanze vicine. Colazione abbondante con salato e dolce, frutta fresca di tanti tipi. Lo staff alla reception è preparato, flessibile ed utile, dá molte indicazioni su come raggiungere i luoghi da vedere, prenotano e consigliano anche escursioni, trasferimenti aeroporto, ecc... Noi siamo stati molto soddisfatti, le 4 stelle sono meritate.

La cena nel seminterrato della colazione risulta un po' troppo cupa, il servizio andrebbe migliorato, i tavoli resi più adeguati per la cena, che non è la colazione e richiede più cura.

Lage war super, Betten sehr bequem, Pool auf der Dachterasse war klasse und erfrischend.
