We needed a “home base” for two weeks. Family wedding in Basque, family events in Biarritz and many other local travels. We knew the weather would be slightly hot and likely rainy so we wanted a place with AC. Got it here :)
Philippe was the best host we have ever encountered! If we needed any little thing he was there to provide that item. Most everything needed was at this beautiful house already. We did need a bit of direction here and there which Philippe was there to provide.
Although we did not use the pool it was gorgeous. And it was very well maintained along with the house and the grounds. The house is spacious and beautifully laid out. The grounds are lovely and wooded. The wall and gate that surrounds the property provides security (as does Philippe being near by).
Having a washer, dryer and dishwasher was very helpful to us. Anything one could possibly need was provided…ironing board, drying rack, some paper products, tv cables, etc…
The nearby markets, bakery and pharmacy are so convenient. We sometimes walked there and back.
We hope to return soon to this peaceful paradise.

We had an amazing stay at this incredible property, and the photos do not do it justice. It is beautifully laid out, close to all amenities and on an easy bus route through to bayonne and biarritz.. Pool was glorious, and the weather helped of course! But super space, very comfy beds in all the rooms, fantastic kitchen and wifi. We would highly recommend this to all our friends and family.. lots of memories made. Thank you Philippe!

Tolles Haus! Nette Gastgeber
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus war sehr gut eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich. Im Wohnzimmer gab es auch eine Klimaanlage. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Très bon séjour, maison charmante et propriétaire adorable
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au sein de cette maison de vacances. La maison étant très grande, elle permet à chacun de pouvoir s’approprier son petit coin. Les espaces sont très bien agencés. La partie extérieure est magnifique et dispose d’une piscine toujours propre.
A refaire sans hésiter, ça était un vrai coup de cœur pour nous et toute notre famille.

Très belle maison idéalement située.
La maison est très joliment meublée et décorée. Le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables. Il y a de l’espace pour profiter de moments en famille mais aussi suffisamment d’espaces pour pouvoir s’isoler et se reposer tranquillement. C’est idéalement situé entre l’océan, la montagne et l’arrière pays. Seul petit bémol : étant proche de tout (commerces, axes routiers principaux …) c’est un peu bruyant lorsqu’on est à l’exterieur.

Maison très agréable et très bien conçue , un tout petit bémol pour le confort des lits jumeaux et le manque de four mais les propriétaires sont très gentils et surtout très serviables , au moindre soucis ou demande de votre part ils répondent présents et c’est un atout non négligeable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrons sûrement

Très agréable maison située dans un très beau cadre avec des propriétaires accueillants et discrets
Propriété ou l'on se sent en sécurité avec toutes les commodités à proximité ; proche des axes de circulation permettant une découverte optimum du pays Basque.
Une petite recommandation : prévoir de remettre un peu de vaisselle : verres à pied, coupes de Champagne,, et un peu de matériel de cuisine( louche, ciseaux, changer le joint de la cocotte et remplacer les piles de la télécommande ) sinon tout est parfait . Merci à Mr etMe Batsale

Très belle semaine au Pays Basque
La propriété est magnifique, tout comme le pays basque. Idéalement placée pour accéder rapidement aux principaux lieux à visiter et à proximité d’un petit centre commercial. Un peu bruyante parfois à cause d’ avions quand nous sommes dans la piscine mais l’intérieur est parfaitement insonorisé. Location vivement conseillée.

This is an unusual rental in that it is more comfortable, more attractive and better equipped than advertised. Owners are delightful, patient and very helpful. A great location and perfect for couples or families.

Leider ist der Pool bis Ende Mai abgedeckt und nebenan ist eine Baustelle, aber sonst eine tolle Wohnung auf einem schönen Grundstück

Séjour parfait
La maison est magnifique autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Chaque chambre dispose d'une salle de bain. Les terrasses sont bien agréables. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils et conciliants. En bref c'est une location que je recommande les yeux fermés.

We stayed here with our 3 grown up children and their partners.
We had a fab time! The position was perfect- 30 mins walk from the lovely city of Bayonne. There was a bus stop a few mins away too. The buses are great and very cheap. The pool was great. The supermarket a short walk away was perfect for all our needs - the fish, meat and cheese counters were superb!

Very comfortable with a great pool
This house was perfect for a family group with four adults and four children, including two teenagers. The pool is great, local amenities are convenient with a supermarket two minutes away. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay in the Pays Basque.

Une maison agréable bien située aux portes de Bayonne et près des grands axes sans les nuisances
Maison bien aménagée et calme. Nous avons pu nous reposer tout en découvrant le pays basque. Située près de l’autoroute, il est aisé de se déplacer vers l’espagne Ou vers l’interieur des terres et des Pyrénées en moins d’une heure.

Super maison , le week-end était pluvieux donc on a bien profité du grand salon.

Accueil sympathique et souriant et location tenant ses promesses. Petit bémol sur l'équipement de la cuisine en vaisselle : pour une location calibrée pour 8 le nombre de verres, tasses, mugs... est un peu juste. Il manque également quelques ustensiles comme une louche.
Sinon, c'est impeccable et la literie de très bonne qualité !

Très belles prestations, maison idéalement située pour découvrir le pays basque
Accueil très agréable par les propriétaires habitant dans une des maisons totalement indépendante de la propriété. Maison vaste (190 m2), neuve (très bien isolée) avec une décoration soignée et offrant toutes les commodités. A deux pas se trouvent un supermarché, une boulangerie et une pharmacie. Située à deux km de la gare sncf de Bayonne et à la sortie de l'autoroute. Belle location.

The house itself is very spacious and catered for all our needs (we were a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids). The stand-out highlights are the beautiful swimming pool in the back garden and the lovely seating area out front where we had many barbecues.
Philippe and his family live in the house next door and they were always available to help us with anything we needed. They were a pleasure to deal with.
I would highly recommend this villa for a family holiday and we hope to be back soon.

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances avec nos enfants dans cette maison ancienne, mais restaurée avec beaucoup de goût et moderne. Un grand jardin, une salle de jeux pour les enfants et de multiples activités à pratiquer sur la côte basque, le charme de l'Espagne toute proche et de San Sébastien. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

Maison pleine de charme, bien équipée, très calme au milieu d'un grand parc arboré.
Un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires et une région pleine de ressources nous ont fait passer un superbe séjour.
