Came here for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The host was fantastic, the location was just minutes from the beach and I can’t wait to rebook! The location was clean and filled with all of the things you’ll need. The guestbook was filled with all kinds of information, places to visit and places to eat! Messaged the host a few times and she always got right back to me. I was very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend staying here! (:

Bugs of all sizes at this vacation rental! Drain flies, to medium size bugs that would scatter under the fridge when you turned on the light, to cockroaches. If you like bugs, look no further. We actually left with 4 days still on our rental because of the flies/bugs/cockroaches. There were definitely other issues with this being an older rental (AC either on full blast or off completely, clicking ceiling fans, TV malfunctioning, etc.). Couple positives, it was close to the ocean and restaurants.

As advertised! Neat, well furnished, great location!! Check-in/out was a breeze. One block to beach, one block to bay. VERY quiet and relaxing!! Definitely recommend and will stay again!

House is really old and has pretty bad water damage. Not as expected based on the pictures. The walls are dryrotted inside and starting to cave in. The floor is sagging in some spots. Moisty smell inside. Very cluttered with stuff but missing some important things like coffee filters and laundry detergent (had to purchase a large container for a one time use). Host was responsive and easy to communicate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! I loved the cute decor, the appliances seemed brand new. The cleanliness was superb. I really liked the screened in front porch too. The cottage is small but it was what I expected. Even though the bathrooms and bedrooms are tight, the host has made great use of available space. There are plenty of hooks and shelves so I had enough room for my toiletries(I don't have an overwhelming amount). I thoroughly enjoyed the small town feel of Manasota Key. The beaches aren't crowded and we never had to fight traffic. The host was wonderful to send us suggestions of things to see and do during our stay. I enjoyed the welcome tray so much---thank you!! I even have ordered the same brand coffee for myself at home because I liked it so much. We will stay here again if we ever get back to the area.

This is a great place for a small family to stay. Great location and easy access to the beach. Just a very short walk. Our stay was quiet, cozy and clean. We had a small issue with the couch when we first arrived but the property manager had it fixed quickly. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

I cant say enough about how amazing our stay was!! Everyone was so attentive, understanding, and
genuinely care about teir guest. I had some issues arise not with them but just some personal things and I can't say enough about the concern abd care expressed towards my personal situation. The only drawl back , if it would be one to even be concerned about would be the seating in the first cottage we stayed. Could have been a small love seat to accommodate a 4th person. Personally, i cab sit on my couch at home ;) i was ( not) disappointed we stayed another 2 night at another property on the north side. I will most certainly be back!!! For many years to come. Thank you for having us!!! I do want to Personally apologize, we woke up late i was so worried about our flight Id forgotten to leave a tip. :( - sorry guys

Perfect place for a quick getaway! Villa Mimosa was exactly as depicted via VRBO. Such a quaint/quiet neighborhood, extremely clean, nicely decorated and a short walk (1 block) to the beach. Villa Mimosa has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including beach gear. Communication with Amy was excellent - and Kudo’s to Elena for maintaining such a high level of cleanliness - you felt comfortable as soon as you entered the property. Would stay again!

This connected home was very clean and well stocked. My favorite thing about the home was the location. It is 1 block from the beach and less than that to Lemon Bay. The quiet community is peaceful yet close to everything.

Manasota key was beautiful and private. This problem is about a block to the Gulf and about a block from the bay. It was clean and pleasant. Elena and Amy were great hosts. We did have a small problem with the AC, but they were easy to work with and got a resolved.

You can hear other visitors in other rooms through the walls, our window was by the pool, noisy. shower pressure was ok. sometimes we got hot water, other times cold. tv was hard to use. amenities package was very nice and thoughtful.

This was the perfect rental for our trip to Manasota Key. It was a quick trip to get to the bay and gulf side for exploring. The owner also gave some recommendations for beaches, food and exploring in the area, which we much appreciated! Also, if you're looking to take a break from the Florida heat, just step into the unit and it'll feel like you're in the arctic.

Small space but really good location. Noise (not bad neighbors, just normal activity) could be an issue for light sleepers.
The beach was very easy to access. No parking provides for a pretty empty beach even during peak times. We also brought our own paddle boards and had a wonderful time on Lemon Bay. The location was fantastic for quick access to both the beach and bay.

Pictures are deceiving and misleading. it is VERY small No place for 4 people to sit. one room has no closet and don't try to open a door..they bump into each other. Misleading information regarding the beach. The pool was dirty with hair and a film on it and more like a big bath tub that a pool. All of the threatening signage in every room is insulting. We took normal pics (no creative lense) from the same angles HUGE Difference.

We had an excellent 4 night stay. Everything was just as described on the site. Weather was perfect, beach, restaurants and everything else we needed were close, and the unit was clean and well-appointed. We would definitely return!!
