This is not your average VRBO. It comes with a staff that ensures you will throughly enjoy your stay. Breakfast is served every morning. Beds are make and every day someone is cleaning the property. We have rented many houses but none have this level of service and cleanliness. You will not be disappointed.

We were a family group of seven that had the good fortune to stay for five nights at Villa Alami. What can I say, that hasn't already been said by everyone in previous reviews. I can only echo how amazing the villa is, how helpful Martha is (she treats you like a friend) and how truly magnificant her team, lead by the amazing Putu, actually are. NOTHING is too much trouble. You will be treated like royalty. I cannot praise them highly enough, they are amazing people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it could possibly be. We packed so much into our short stay including two dance performances by the local villagers, which are definitely not to be missed! We were blown away by the quality of the performances. We had the chef cook for us and had massages at the villa, both experiences were wonderful. We were so sad when it was time to leave this fantastic villa and say goodbye to Sang Putu and his team, the days had flown by in a heartbeat.

Other reviews are correct photos don't do it justice. Views are beautiful and the rooms were very clean. The Staff and the house manager were the nicest and very easy to interact with and helped us get organized around all the things we wanted to do in the Ubud area.

The Alami Villa exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were fantastic and the views were stunning. We were surrounded by jungle with the sound of the river below. The staff was 5 star as well! They provided for our every need - extra beds, chef services, massages, laundry, Balinese dancers and more! They greeted us every minute with a huge smile on their face. We won’t hesitate to stay here again!!

I'm a fussy traveller and I could not fault our stay at the villa. It was so beautiful and tranquil and as everyone says the photos don't do it justice. Putu, Made, Kadek and the rest of the team were so helpful, but also knew when to step back, which is a rare skill. An added bonus is the team can offer local tours that are informative and great value. Exceptional!

Rental process was a breeze, definitely a repeat for our group of friends. Staff was amazing and helpful in every possible way. This property is gorgeous.

What the pictures can't also capture is the beauty and peacefulness in other sensory elements like the sounds of the river and the birds and the feel of the warm, humid air mixed with the cool breeze. It is a wonderful place and all the choices that have been made by the owners and staff only enhance the experience of staying there. Communication with the owner prior to our arrival was excellent. She took the time to speak with me and answer some questions we had, which I appreciated. The staff at the villa is also wonderful. As other reviewers have said - they are friendly and helpful and they anticipate what you might need practically before you ask. The property manager offered advice on things we might like to do and he took all of our responses and found us just what we were looking for. I wanted to add an additional comment about the staff. We were traveling with my two teenage daughters and my son, who is 11 and on the autism spectrum. My son loves adventures and seeing new places but can also be easily overwhelmed by new people or unfamiliar situations. When this happens, he needs a little break in order to regroup. This can be tough to communicate to others on his behalf, especially to people trying to help out. Every member of the staff at the villa and especially the property manager blew me away by how sensitive and empathic they were, without any explanation necessary. We were so impressed by and grateful for how expertly and graciously attuned the staff was to their guests. I think this is universally appreciated, but I know it is something that I especially look for with my son and so I wanted to be sure to highlight it. TL;DR We highly recommend Alami Villa! We hope to return someday.

We had such a great time at villa Alami. The villa was beautiful, extremely spacious and in a great location. It was very relaxing, and we absolutely loved our stay. Everything was so smooth with transport, communication and the staff were anazing. Would highly recommend.

If I could leave 10 stars I would!! Our group of 9 had the most amazing time at the Alami Villa!! The whole staff is amazing and are very attentive. The owners and management was very helpful beforehand through email. Putu was very helpful with planning the activities and transportation around Ubud. One of the highlights was having the local dancers come right to the villa putting on an amazing show and local chefs cooking us dinner, highly recommend. The location was beautiful, the bedrooms are spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was great for the kids the decor was perfect, and breakfast was delicious every morning. I will definitely recommend this villa to anyone who is visiting Ubud. I actually wish we could have stayed longer.

My third visit to Villa Alami once again did not disappoint. It was 2 years ago that I last visited and it has only become more beautiful. It's hard to find the words that give this stunning villa a fitting description. Magnificent and spectacular are close. The staff remains amazing, ready to help with whatever you need but perfectly discreet to give you privacy. Thanks once again to Sang Putu and his team. A 10-15 minute drive puts you in the heart of Ubud with countless restaurants and lots of shopping. Can't say enough good things about Villa Alami...... We will be back for sure!

My five friends and I just left the Villa Alami. All of the photos and information are accurate. The photos cannot adequately capture the tranquility surrounding the villa. You hear the river flowing over the rocks 24 hours per day, the birds in the trees and the roosters next door. The design of the house is perfect for a group allowing privacy but still having great spaces to socialize. Putu and his staff were available at all times and helped plan every activity that we asked for. We had a private performance with the dancers at the villa which was fabulous. The girls even applied makeup and furnished costumes for the evening. Putu arranged a silver marking class for three of the ladies along with transportation. Breakfast was prepared to order every morning. Even though there is not a full time chef, there are menus from excellent restraunts and they will deliver or staff will pick up. We had a chef on the evening of the dance and the food was wonderful. Do not hesitate to rent this villa...you will not regret your decision.

I cannot describe the service and accomodations at Villa Alami. The staff is very attentive. The Villa is superb. The scenery and culture beyond belief. We started planning the next visit there prior to leaving. We are a group of adventure travelers and we all throughly enjoyed Villa Alami. Putu and his crew know what they are doing and they are VERY good at it! Thanks to all for a memorable vacation!

I don't even know where to begin. The villa was beyond beautiful (even more so than the photos) and the staff was amazing! Putu and his team were so helpful. They arranged many adventures, dinners, massages, etc for me and my family. We also had our wedding there, and I after the final email of what I wanted, I never had to think about it again. No checking in with vendors, as they handled everything! Everything was beautiful and was executed perfectly! The only negative of this place, is that is was so amazing, that the places we went afterwards felt like dumps in comparison. I would 100% go back again! Amazing!!!

Putu, the property manager, is the sweetest and most hospitable person you will ever meet. He is not only welcoming and funny, but is a wealth of information when it comes to Balinese culture. He was often our driver and tour guide. Putu and his staff were the icing on the cake for this villa. I highly recommend the authentic village performance they offer at the villa. Truly expresses the beauty of the Balinese culture. Do not miss out on it!! I would highly recommend staying here and plan on being amazed with the majestic views poolside and from the second levels. The massages offered were CHEAP and beyond satisfaction. My friends and family received deep tissue massages like no other!! Leaving you so relaxed that you'd want to sleep all day. The whole experience, from staff to the views, at Alami Villa left me mesmerized. My group of 10 did not want to leave!!! Utmost gratitude to Putu and his staff. We left Bali disappointingly, but so impressed and in awe of the Balinese culture. My family and friends owe the great experience to this staff. Catered above and beyond to our needs!!! We will miss you dearly!

We just returned from a 3 week family trip to Bali. It was a wonderful experience, and the highlight was the week we spent near Ubud in this villa. The villa is stunningly beautiful, and the staff treats every guest like visiting royalty. All 6 of us are in agreement that we would definitely choose to stay in this villa if we ever again travel to Bali. Prior to our stay, communications with Martha Wiseman, the owner, were helpful and informative. We were quite comfortable knowing what to expect at the villa. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Sang Putu, the general manager, and Made, the staff supervisor, were so accommodating and helpful that our every need was met. While we were there, they made sure we had taxi service ready even on short notice, got reservations at the best restaurants, had tasty breakfasts every morning, experienced a cooking class at the villa, observed an amazing Kecak Dance (a 45 min show performed by over 60 people from the local village) on the pool deck, obtained tickets to a soccer game featuring Bali United, took birding tours in local rice paddies and parks, and just had an amazing time! This villa and this staff are simply the best!!

If you are planning on visiting Ubud you have to stay here, not only its absolutely gorgeous inside and out but you get treated like royalty. The staff made us all feel very special, they were constantly around making sure we had everything we needed. Putu the villa manager is incredible he works so hard to make sure your stay is magical. Behind the scene he will arrange anything and everything you ask him. We had the privilege of having our wedding there and i couldn't have asked for a better night. All our guests said that was one of the best and the most magical weddings they have ever been to. Martha, putu and the rest of the staff worked day and night to make my dream wedding come true. We stayed at Villa Alami as part of a girls' weekend in Ubud- the entire stay was incredible. From working with Martha and Putu in the lead up to our arrival, through our airport pickup, to every detail being attended to during our stay, we felt completely looked after. Putu, Kadek, Made and Komang were an incredible team, providing seamless and unobtrusive service throughout. The villa was stunning- both architecturally beautiful and well appointed, but also lavishly maintained. The bedrooms were comfortable, private and served as individual retreats. We spent a good deal of time lounging by the pool relaxing to the sound of the river below- it was luxury in the jungle! Putu organized massages at the villa, drivers to get us around, and an amazing birthday dinner cooked by a local resort chef. Having breakfast overlooking the property was the perfect way to start the morning. Our group lives in Indonesia and has traveled around the country, but this stay blew each of us away. The team really anticipated our needs, and made this a holiday to remember!

We were a group of 10 friends (5 couples), all seasoned travellers. We simply had an amazing experience at Alami Villa, period. I'm used to seeing glamourous videos and pictures of hotels only to be disappointed by the real thing. Alami Villa was the complete opposite. I was already impressed by the videos and pictures, but the real thing was even better. Putu (the manager) and his team made it even better. They were always smiling and taking care of us. We felt like royalty. If you are a group of 8-10 staying in Ubud, you must stay here. It's well located and within reasonable distance from other places like Seminyak. If there is one downside, and no fault of the villa's, is the limited food choices. We are all foodies, so when it came time to plan for dinner, there wasn't that many things to chose from. Same goes for late meals. Other than that minute thing, Alami Villa is absolutely the place to go to if you want to relax and just be together in serenity while being pampered by Putu and the team, the services like in-house massage, the view and overall experience.

We love it!!! The villa is made with love (that's what our children said). The staffs are very friendly and helpful, they really took care of us very well. Lovely breakfast every morning, and beautiful presentation. They gave us different kind of fruit to try and Pak Putu the villa manager is the best! Our children love him, because he always tried to explain everything about the culture and history when we visited the temple. Thank you!!!

There are so many perfect details at Villa Alami. Fresh drinks on arrival, lovely attentive staff, deep comfortable beds, wonderful breakfasts, incense smoking and fresh flowers. There's too many more to mention. The pool is exquisite as are the views from the bedrooms. Putu has been a fantastic host, full of knowledge and history and personality. If you have little children you would need to closely supervise them with thr stairs and pool and clifftop location, but older children will love it here.cannot recommend highy enough.

The villa is a perfect location for those who enjoy peace and quite. The pictures on the web were well taken except it was far more beautiful and with the new addition of swimming pool it was a perfect setting for us. The owner was extremely helpful and always available to answer all my questions and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable . I highly recommend this property and will return again myself.
