The property was as advertised and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the nice water view. The check-in process/check-out process was so easy! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful home and great location. Everything we needed.

Overall satisfaction with amenities and properties. Parking could be an issue with a steep entrance and limited space for vehicles. Amenities abound such as every form of coffee maker possible! Some disappointment in cable coverage for TV. We were very comfortable with lots of space for activities in the house. We enjoyed using the telescope!

Wonderful waterfront home on Hood Canal with a view of the snow-capped mountains, close to family and the town center. We hosted our future in-laws in this well appointed home that was welcoming and inviting. Open concept first floor with a wonderful kitchen, large dining table, and rock faced fireplace as a focal point over looking the hood canal. A wonderful place for hosting a small family gathering over the New Year holiday. All our guests had a private bath. Spectacular view! Non-contact check-in. Responsive property manager. Excellent communication. Very clean and well appointed property. Wonderful memories made to include an engagement! How wonderful!

We stayed here for the Christmas holiday and couldn't have been happier. Communication with Kim was the best of any VRBO trip we've had. The home was beautiful and right on the water. Gave us a very memorable holiday 2021! 10 stars. Maybe a couple of things to know (for us older folks) there are three large steps into the home and the stairs to the second floor are to be noted. Otherwise very easy to get around. LOADS of towels and supplies - no tin foil or saran wrap that we could find but we didn't look everywhere probably. Thanks to Kim and the homeowners for a great stay. We even got snow for the second half of our stay and they sent the greatest handyman to clear the driveway for us!! Caleb was a savior in helping us get out of the steep driveway. Can't wait to stay again in 2022! Two more super minor things: adjusting the hot water heater and operating the TV were a bit of a challenge. We figured them out eventually. Thanks a million for sharing your home! Ed and Family

This was the perfect property for our family time together on the Hood Canal. The home is even nicer than appears in the photos. We had a view out of the master bathroom, master bedroom, and office, as well as a private terrace off the master. The home is located at the toward the end of the canal and the shallows waters were quite warm. We enjoyed swimming every day when the tide came in. The lawn was perfect for playing outdoor games. Our adult children brought a spikeball set. We also brought our own inflatable kayak and paddleboard, which we used every day. They left instructions on where to dig clams approximately 10 min away. The place to purchase a shellfish license was just down the road and we had a wonderful clam feast one evening. The home is located very close to Belfair and not too far from Allyn. There is a fully equipped kitchen and we cooked almost every evening, however there are many restaurants nearby for those who prefer to go out. We will be booking this home again. Thank you for the fabulous and memorable stay!

This was a really great place to stay with my family over the Labor Day weekend. I was very fortunate to have found this amazing house right next to the water. Kim, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating to address any issues that came up. There was ample space for everyone to settle in and be comfortable.

Location is great, the house is spacious and comfortable. Television has only a few basic channels.

Great communication and great well cared for property

We greatly enjoyed are stay at this property. The home is well maintained and the property is right on the beautiful Hood Canal. We were grateful for the air conditioning, because we stayed during a record heat wave.

Very spacious and better in person than on line. Also, very close proximity to grocery stores, state parks, but really, you don't need to leave as you can kayak and hang out in the front yard or in the house because they have so many activities provided. One thing that needs to be mentioned is that the property manager was extremely accessible and excellent to communicate with before and when we got to the rental and I hadn't looked at my check in information thoroughly. She called and texted right back to me even though she was on her way to her own vacation.

The house is well equipped and has a great view. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness when we arrived.

My wife and I were getting married on hood canal and needed a place for our small wedding party who was coming from out of state. This was perfect! It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the view as well as have a beautiful place to call home for a few days. Kim was extremely helpful and patient when we emailed her several times asking questions. :) The only thing I'd love to see is if you could somehow include check in instructions in the app instead of by email. There are so many spam emails its easy to lose it

Nice view, clean, and plenty of room for guests to stay.

We had two families come together to rent this property for Thanksgiving break. Kim was very kind and prompt when communicating about anything! There were a couple hiccups and she went into action to resolve them quickly and make sure our families were happy and comfortable with our stay. The home is quite large with activities for the kiddos and close to everything we needed. Very furnished with multiple ways to make your coffee lol which we enjoyed! I would recommend this listing to anyone with a large family or two needing a place to stay in this area 🙂

We celebrated our fathers 70th birthday in this beautiful home overlooking the hood canal. We enjoyed fresh Manila clams and cracked Dungeness crab from Hama Hama Seafood which is a short drive up the canal. We would recommend this home to anyone. Very well appointed. And such a beautiful view.

We had a great time! The house was gorgeous, clean, and included all of the amenities we could possibly want. Our days were spent out in the water and at night we would all get together and play in the game room for hours. For once it wasn’t a fight to get our teenagers to put away their phones- there was plenty things to keep them (and us!) busy.

My family and I spent 4 nights at this lovely home on Hood Canal. The accommodations are very, very nice. Lots of room for everyone (3 couples, 2 kiddos), a fireplace indoors for cooler nights and a terrific game room for the kids. Really nice kitchen with big dining room table for our family to eat, do puzzles, play cards, etc. Outside was just as nice - you're right on the water, easy swimming access, a boat launch, a yard, great deck to sit and enjoy the natural beauty. Would love, love to come back here again next year.

My family had a great time staying here. Lots of room for everyone, family meals inside and outside, playing in the water.

Our family stayed here with four kids (age range: 9-16) and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with just about everything you need. The beds and couches were comfortable, plenty of towels, and having laundry abilities was great! I recommend talking with the neighbors who were very kind and welcoming and helped us know what was and wasn't okay for the private clam harvest areas. Kim was wonderful and quick in her communication and responses. We truly enjoyed our time here!

We had a fabulous time at this vacation rental. Gorgeous vacation rental with all the comforts of home. The view each morning from the back patio was stunning! We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group. Our kids loved swimming and exploring the waters of the hood canal. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We would definitely recommend this property! We hope to come back again some day!

The house was immaculate and everything was just as described or better. Everything was set up for us when we got there and all we had to do was enjoy our vacation. Can’t wait to visit again. Such a beautiful home!

Total of 7 people (3 couple and 1 teenager) stayed at this house over Thanksgiving. The house is gorgeous and Kim was a delight to work with.

This vacation home is right on the water with a wonderful view of the Olympic mountains. House is nicely decorated and well-stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking in ONP during the days and relaxing by the firepit in the evenings.
