There is lots to do. We ventured out to beach and rented a boat. We had the hot tub, fire pit, lots of games and enjoyed hanging out on the front porch morning, noon and night!

The house, property and location were excellent! Everything we needed was there and if we had questions, the owner quickly replied. Loved every minute of our stay!

This house is all as described and more! The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen allowed us to cook big meals. There are TV’s in every room and a nice game room. The porch was a great feature as we had a couple of days of rain but the porch allowed us to be outside regardless. The fire pit was a great place to relax in the evening with a fire and there was plenty of firewood. The hot tub was a great way to relax as well. The area around the house was quiet with plenty of nature…Schroon lake was a short drive away with small shops and a few restaurants. Also great for fishing a I caught a 3-pound large mouth bass. A very quaint and quiet town. This house is well located with easy access to the highway. Overall our whole family enjoyed the week we spent there and truly loved this outstanding home. The owner, Mary Jane, was always available when we had questions and was a great host! She made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a nice 10-day vacation staying here. Everyone really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night (with plenty of wood) and using the hot tub. The kitchen/dining area was plenty big for our group (10) where we ate most of our meals, played games, and just enjoyed being together. Schroon Lake was a short drive away and great for the kids. The mosquitoes were definitely an annoyance and we've never seen them in swarms like that. Don't know if that is normal in the Adirondacks in the summer or if it was due to the high amount of rain this year. One last comment: communicating with the owner was fantastic. She was fantastic and immediately responded to every question I had. She even gave us an update from the power company when the electricity went out during a storm and told us which restaurants were open (or closed) during the outage!

Our crew had a great time at this property. The house is about 5 minutes from town so easy to pick up groceries for dinner. The game room downstairs is awesome, plenty of seating/space for a large group, a very comfortable stay for us all. The owner is very friendly and responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

AMAZING is how I can some up this trip and our stay! Mary Jane was prompt with her replies and extremely accommodating. The weather wasn’t very nice for two days and she went out of her way to make it right. I am grateful to her for that. My parents hearts left full. For the first time in many years they had all their children under one roof for a week. I would love to come back and enjoy this beautiful home in the future!

The home was beautiful very clean everything we need mary was amazing!!! We will stay again for sure!! If your looking for a beautiful home with plenty of room for over 10 people this is the place!!!

The house was well maintained, inviting, and in a great location. We were minutes from Schroon Lake and 30 minutes to Lake George. The kids loved running around on the property. There were plenty of things for them to do! Our hosts responded quickly to messages and encouraged us to use the small boat, fishing equipment, and other toys at the house. This us a great spot to visit in the summer!

My friends and I stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. The weather did not cooperate fully and we had some more time at the cabin than expected, but the place was perfect for it. More than enough space inside and out. The porch and fire pit were great places to hang out together, not to mention the amazing hot tub. Mary Jane was a wonderful host, would absolutely seek to stay here again.

Our family stayed here for our winter ski vacation to Gore and Whiteface Mountains. It was an incredible location and space. The home was cozy, comfortable, and inviting - we couldn't wait to get home and relax for the evening after a full day of skiing. Lots of great restaurants just minutes away. Communication with the owners was top-notch! You won't be disappointed. Trust me when I say this home has everything you need. We look forward to booking again in the future.

After the hustle and bustle of Christmas our family (6 adults and 3 children) were looking for a remote, quiet getaway. This rental fit all our needs perfectly. It was large enough to comfortably fit all 9 of us. We enjoy making meals at home and the kitchen came stocked with many condiments, spices, and oils, along with almost all the pots, pans, and kitchen gadgets we needed. The property itself is just beautiful. The hot tub, and fire pit at the rear of the house allows you to enjoy the remote feeling of this property. We sledded, hot tubbed and had s’mores all within 100 ft. A truly memorable day! I didn’t see this in other reviews so just wanted to note that the easiest access (without walking all the way around the house) to the hot tub is through an exterior door in the bunk room upstairs. Since this was where our kids were sleeping/napping it did limit our easy access to the hot tub. It’s not a big deal and we made it work, but just wanted to let others know the set up so you can plan for it. The host was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. She clearly cares about your enjoyment of her property and the ease of your stay. Thank you so much!!

When we decided to get married in Schroon Lake, we wanted a place for our family to stay that was not too far from the village. And this place did that and SO MUCH MORE! Everyone remarked on how much this home had to offer. You can visit some rentals that are bare-bones - not this one. It has so many amenities, little things you might have forgotten, plenty of towels and blankets, not including all the things you can do on the property, like a bonfire, the hot tub, or the basketball hoop. It was perfect in every way and we all cannot wait to go back. We did have a mishap - we accidentally broke a light, but Mary Jane was gracious and kind. Mary Jane is a phenomenal host, very responsive, kind, and flexible. I highly recommend this home to anyone considering visiting Schroon Lake.

What a WONDERFUL property! This house is just as described, if not BETTER. Plenty of room for our large group (3 separate families.) Cute town and plenty to do and enjoy outside and inside. Highly recommend! Don’t be afraid to disconnect from the world and enjoy this spot (no cell service at the house but WiFi call works beautifully!)

There isnt an uncomfortable seat on the premises. Host was absolutely amazing and makes it feel like you own the place. Will be going again for sure!

The whole experience was fantastic. The pond up the street about a mile was serene. The beach in town was not crowded and was easy to access. There was a fully stocked pile of dry firewood available for us to use. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a getaway.

Beautiful property surrounded by everything you need to have a quiet getaway!! Minutes to Schroon lake and lovely quaint town. Great little places to eat surrounded this town!! We did have some incidentals occur on the first day but they were properly taken care of by the owner promptly!!!!house is definitely a must see and you will not be disappointed!!!

Property had everything we needed. 7 adults, 2 teens and 3 kids. Loved the pool table, ping pong, hot tub and fire pit. Perfect place for family gatherings. Mary was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely recommend.

We loved this home! It was a great location just off the beaten path but only a mile from the town and Schroon Lake. The house is fully equipped with a hot tub, fire pit with plenty of seating, sunrise and sunset decks, lots of towels and kitchen supplies, two living spaces and more! It was perfect for our 3 generations spanning my 79 year old father to my 10 year old daughter. We loved it!

We had a great weekend! Host was very attentive and responded quickly to all questions before and during the stay. We were given plenty of flexibility on check in and check out. I was worried we wouldn't have enough sleeping options so we brought air mattresses to supplement the beds, but didn't need them as there were big sectionals, futons, pull down/out beds, and a mattress in the nook under the stairs. Campfire, Hot Tub, Basketball, Ping Pong and Pool tables were all a big hit. Tons of parking space too. Would definitely come back!

I rented this beautiful home for my 30th birthday and I have to say I was not disappointed. I will be renting this place again. It is so clean and spacious. We rented it for the weekend and we found we couldn't do everything that this place offers since it offers so much. From zipline to hot tub to hiking to swimming to many other things. Not only was the place nice but Mary the host was fantastic easy to reach always available. And she made my birthday weekend very special. If you are on the fence about renting this place don't be you will not be disappointed. P.s. The atmosphere there was so calming you will be able to just get away from the world and recharge.
