Our stay could not have been more perfect. The house is beautiful, the river access is great. We have been renting through VRBO for about 20 years and this was up there. My son said it was in the top three…one on Orcas Island, one tree house in Costa Rica and this home. We could not have asked for more. Thanks so much for having us!!!

The house was perfect for three adult couples, with three small children. The house was very roomy. The yard is huge and the kids kids loved playing games there. Also the yard fronts on the Guadalupe river which is also beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful view of the river. Hosts had drawers tagged with contents. Beds were comfortable. Really nice home layout with large bedrooms & bathrooms. Large deck with wonderful view of river. Seemed private as there is a rock embankment across the river.

Property has lots of space and is a beautiful location to spend time. Plenty of room for a large group and amenities to match. Host is good at communicating and check in/out was smooth.

Property was fantastic. We are still not clear though, why we were charged the cleaning fees and still were asked to clean dishes, ash, etc. Also neighboring property had good lighting and swings in the backyard, wish this property had it.

Neighbors dogs, both sides, greeted you coming and going along with everything else that passed by in the night.

This rental is at a beautiful location with great river access. Plenty of space for 8 adults. All of the rooms were open and big, did not feel small at all and the A/C worked great. The kitchen and laundry room were fully stocked. Just needed to buy charcoal for the grill as there was not enough/we didn’t bring any and we didn’t know there was an air compressor in the laundry room as we brought our own to fill our tubes. Even though the water was low, we still had a great time. The second day on the River we bought paddles which helped a lot. I recommend visiting Gruene, Texas (just a 16 minute drive), they have great food and cute stores to shop and look around. Also check out “Natural Bridge Caverns” (just a 28 minute drive), they have a safari/dinosaur park you can drive thru and the caverns are beautiful. If you are looking to get away from the city and not be in the summer rush this is the perfect time to go after Labor Day. I recommend this rental to anyone and would rent again in the future.

This is a very clean and spacious house. The kitchen had everything we needed when inside, and outside we had a nice view from the patio with great river access.

This gorgeous house was absolutely everything we could’ve asked for. It was perfect for a group which range from adults down to babies. The river access was second to none in the house had all the amenities we needed. The owner was super responsive and we were perfectly located on River Road close to the river action, but in a quiet residential area. We will definitely return.

Beautiful home, great access to the river,well stocked kitchen and plenty parking.

Perfect for our family, 6 adults and 7 children. Everyone had a great time. The kids could walk right into the river and fish every morning. No whooper were caught but still lots of fun. Then tubing every afternoon. Cookouts at night. Just right for us!

The property was exactly as described. Very nice and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

My friends and I LOVED this house! It feels so open with the super high ceilings and it was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It felt very homey without feeling lived in. 100% recommend!

The house & location was fantastic! The house was beautiful & the big windows a huge plus! It was the perfect fit to have my little family all under 1 roof to celebrate my son’s graduation from TX STATE! The river was a great hang out for everyone to sit in their lawn chairs / tubes & enjoy the cool waters. While some played corn hole on the lawn & others Jenga at the top deck 🎉 So much room for outdoor activities! I really loved how the owner incorporated the cement slab / steps at the riverfront, it was safe getting into the river & not worrying about not having visuals on uninvited critters… As others properties next to us - didn’t have that luxury. The is MUST BOOK property! Thank you for the great stay! Can’t wait to book again 😊

This house is so beautiful, inside and out. The view was incredible, the kids loved the big open back yard on the riverfront. They hardly even looked at their electronics for three days. The house was very well stocked. We cooked many big meals and the kitchen had almost everything we needed (the only things we couldn’t find was a potato peeler and masher). Really enjoyed coffee on the big beautiful deck every morning with the incredible view. The common areas were so big and open, there was plenty of space and seating for all 14 of us. Big kitchen table was nice for playing games with a big group. There was lots of parking out front, we were able to fit 6 large cars. The fire pit out back was nice, and the “charcoal grill” is also a smoker that we put to good use. Loved the over sized trash can in the kitchen and the dumpster out front that made clean up for a large group a breeze. The house is well cared for and was very clean. Even the neighbors were nice. And there was an air compressor to blow up our tubes. Really enjoyed our stay here.
