Everything was great. Truely a holiday I didn’t want to leave.

Great size for a small family or 2 couples. Had all the items we needed for a week long stay. Property was clean. Bonus that we could use resort facilities. Would stay again.

The villa is lovley and close to the resort.. it’s clean and perfect for a small family for a weeks holiday. We will definitely be back again.

Spacious and quiet villa that had everything we needed for our 6-night stay. Great value for money. The washing machine and dryer was much appreciated! Our children (7 and 9) slept in the loft, the ladder is steep and I wouldn’t feel safe with smaller children climbing up and down. A railing attached to the wall would make it a bit safer in my opinion. The kitchen was well equipped but we felt the villa could do with a very thorough clean, the floors and kitchen cupboards looked a bit grimey but it definitely didn’t stop us from having a wonderful stay.

A few maintenance items need looking into before they become significant problems, such as the sliding doors.

We really enjoyed our time at the Banksia Villa, Kingfisher Bay. The rooms were comfortable and and we had plenty of space for all the family. The location is nice and leafy and close to all the resort amenities.

Couldn’t be happier with the location of the property and how easy it was to book. So happy! We will be back.

I would highly recommend this property. Tom our host communicated quickly when we booked last minute and he provided us with a very clean, incredible space. The apartment is very large, very well equipt with serene views and in a peaceful setting. We could not have hoped for more! Thank you Tom for enabling us to have some much needed R & R. Excellent property. Perfect location and very relaxing and quiet.

The only thing that this property has is its location. The unit itself is extremely dirty. The unit requires a complete makeover, there is dust and mould in most Areas. The kitchen is filthy, you cannot cook with any of the cooking appliances, they all need to be thrown in the bin. The state of the kitchen wouldn’t pass a health inspection by any means. The air conditioning is full of dust all over the filters. The lounge covers need to be thrown in the trash. The shower screen is unstable, and it doesn’t close and it is extremely dirty and has mould in all areas of the shower bath combo. On arrival the unit was apparently cleaned and on entering the unit there were ants all over the kitchen bench and we had to spend an hour cleaning the kitchen and we removed the bin to the veranda. The sliding door to the veranda was so hard to open and it was extremely heavy to even open. It requires new wheels on the door. Everywhere you looked was dirty. This unit requires a complete makeover and throughly cleaned and inspected before it should be allowed to be available for holiday rental. The owner should take responsibility in sacking there cleaners and the owner should be ashamed in allowing this property to be listed with Wotif. Wotif to protect your reputation you should inspect this property and make your own decision to see if it meets any standard. I personally do not recommend this property in its current state for holiday rental. I have taken several photos to justify review

We had a great stay for 3 nights. Close to everything at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Nice size deck to relax on when in the villa and the kitchen was spacious with all you need.

Tom contacted us way before to provide some information, which was quite useful! Properly was exactly like the photos and just minutes walking to the pool. Couldn’t be better!

The property was pleasantly more than we expected. Roomy and very comfortable. Highly recommend! The family really enjoyed their time there even with a bit of rain. We’ll be back! 5/5! Thanks so much

This was a beautiful property to stay in with kookaburras and sugar gliders visiting us.The steep climb up the hill each day certainly challenged our fitness.

The property was just like it was advertised and better, in amongst the wildlife. Host Tom was exceptional to deal with, really appreciated his thoughtfulness.

The villa is set in a beautiful location and was fully stocked with everything needed for the perfect holiday. Will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic time at Kingfisher. The accom was great, well maintained. The loft stairs can be a little scary if you have young children but it is well noted in the description for this accom prior to booking. Heaps to do at the resort and on the Island overall would highly recommend. Thanks to the owners for making the process seamless.

The extractor fan was filthy as was the oven. There was no gas bottle available to utilise the BBQ.

Kitchen was well stocked with necessities and it was very handy to have a dryer on hand too. The house amongst the trees was absolutely stunning. Loved every minute of it.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in this huge villa that felt like we were in a treehouse. Everything was well catered for, comfy beds, air conditioning. The owner Tom was very responsive with any questions we had. Although the villa wasn’t too far away from the actual resort itself, the only downfall we had with the property was it’s located up a very steep hill! Would be awesome if there were golf buggies you could hire to get up & down the steep hill. We were lucky enough to have the rangers in the resort offer us a lift back to our villa a couple of times. But other than that, price wise it was fabulous!

The property is in a great location. The cleanliness had a lot to be desired. The fans in both rooms and the aircon filters looked like they had never been cleaned so Much dust. The aircon in the main bedroom did not get cool. Friendly staff on the island. The food was over priced and average. There are cooking facilities in the unit. Would advise take your own

We got a 4wd tour from the resort to Mckenzie lake and it was absolutely breathtaking! loved that we could use the resort pool as well. the furniture is quite dated/old but I guess it doesn't really matter too much. we really enjoyed our stay! will book again :)

We had such a lovely time there! The deck facing the trees is so calming, we love to chill there after a day's adventure. The kitchen is very well-equipped that we ended up cooking a lot! Highly recommended! Some light bulbs need replacing.

With the added bonus of the owner allowing us in to the property early it made our stay that bit longer and gave us a full day on arrival! Fraser is a jewel and natural beauty right on our door step Simply stunning Beauty Spot tour was fab canoeing on our last day was magic In all we had a wonderful 3 nights 4 days of walks ,scenic flight ,4WD trips ,night walk fishing A great stay

We enjoyed our time here, it’s in a good location and has everything you need. The host Tom was very helpful. It definitely could use a really good clean but we understand how busy it was at the time. Great for a small family.
