The view from the balcony over the San Carlos Bay was just as spectacular as described. We visited several restaurants in the area and were impressed with all of them - Tortuga's, La Calaca Tacos y Cerveza, Casa Manolo, and Colibri. My only disappointment was that I couldn't manage transporting the kayaks to the water. Perhaps you should consider a small cart to enable this portage.

This house is beautiful!!! Lots of space and places to hang out. We spent the majority of time on the patio enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. The kitchen was fully equipped. The is lots of light flooding the house everywhere, of you like to sleep late I would recommend an eye mask and ear plugs. I would recommend that you get a 4WD or AWD vehicle to navigate the neighborhood. The road to the closest beach is very steep, but the beach is beautiful. Definitely use Michaels directions vs Google Navigation to use the best roads and easy access to the house. There is lots construction going on in the gated community but they seem pretty considerate with the time. If you do not cook, you will have to drive into town for restaurants. You could walk but it would be a climb back to the house. We found a number of great restaurants close by. Lots of American style food available. Knowledge of the Spanish language would definitely help but it's not a requirement. We will be back to enjoy the views, food, and weather.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. The home is beautiful, at the top of the Caracol Turístico neighborhood in San Carlos with the most beautiful views of the sea. The house was immaculate and the host was great!

This is our 4th time staying at this property! What made this trip a great experience was Michael's communication when things went wrong. There was a storm the day before we came that knocked some power out. He called me Friday morning to let me know what was going on so that we could plan accordingly. He checked in repeatedly to make sure things were going smoothly and asked if we needed anything. In addition to having a five star home, Michael is a five star host who goes above and beyond.

The house is located in a very nice location with absolutely incredible views from everywhere in the house and is a 2 minute drive from an amazing beach with the perfect amount of shade all day long! The house itself was very comfortable, clean and perfect for my family! There are many rooms and everything is spread out well, there was an amazing balcony area with gorgeous views and very comfortable seats!

This was a jaw-dropping experience, and would highly recommend this home to others looking for an incredible place to stay while in San Carlos. The view alone is worth it. The location was surprisingly easy to find with the given directions. I suggest dropping a pin to make it easier to navigate to and from. The guards at the gate are friendly and accommodating. Although I wouldn't recommend going in the heat of the summer - it was still a good trip!

Really pretty view, we enjoyed the 3 decks were you can see the mountains and ocean. House was clean and everything was just good for our stay.

What a nice spot. Ultra clean, plenty of room, all the amenities you need, and a short walk to the water for kayaking in the bay. Great location protected from cars, foot traffic, etc. My family of 4 and 4 other relatives had a blast. If it's open when we want to come, we'll stay here going forward. Have rented 5-6 places in San Carlos over the last 10 years. This one is the best so far.

An exceptional stay. Amazing location. Everything was provided including quality bedding. Renting the property was a breeze. Prompt communication & thorough information & instructions.

House was lovely Was very disappointed that the gas canisters for the BBQ and for the gas patio fireplace were nearly empty. Both should have been full to start. Kitchen was barely adequate no large bowls at all and I do mean none I’m a chef and was very disappointed. Had to use large pot to make bread. The other issue I have was being charged an extra $125.00 for cleaners. We left several 6 packs of empty Heineken bottles all returned to six pack carrier so cleaners could take and return for deposit money. They were on floor next to garbage can. Supposedly they were strewn about, that’s nonsense. We actually cleaned all dishes and counters before leaving. Other issue was having a couple we met during our stay, stay with us overnight as they had a little too much to drink. This I was told was not allowed? I assume when I rent a house I can have an unexpected guest stay if I want. Other issue was the leaky downstairs toilet, we are not there to let people know when things are not working properly. I deal with that in my own life. The view was great beds comfortable. But the beer bottle issue and extra guest for one night issue will keep me from renting this house again.

Bianca and Michael not only kept us well informed, but also, made us welcome in their beautiful, well appointed home with a welcome bottle of wine and snacks. The rooms were large, well appointed and the views from the windows and decks were spectacular! We would all go back in a heartbeat! Thank you! You are wonderful hosts!

What an amazing place, first off I recommend this place to everyone. Michael the owner was extremely responsive to any question we had. While we were down there we walked through some other rentals and none of them came close to Michaels place. Thanks you for such a beautiful home, if you haven’t retired yet when we come down again we will definitely stay there.

We repeatedly book this property because of the location and quality of the home. If you are looking for a spacious home with lots of conveniences and a great view, this is it. The hosts are extremely responsive if we do need anything.

The house is well appointed, spacious and has everything you would need. However, if you like to sleep cold, the master bedroom is problematic especially in warmer months. While gorgeous, the glass block divider wall severely limits airflow from the mini split in to the bed part of the master, causing the vanity area to catch the cold air, leaving the bed area quite warm for sleeping in the summer. I’m leaving this here in hopes that the owners will do a quick remedy and shorten the glass block wall. Also, there’s a small tile lip on the toilet in the master bath that you have to be mindful of. Other than those two things, we enjoyed the home greatly and wish our stay was longer!

We loved our stay at this house so much that we are planning a trip back and longer stay. This house is so comfortable, has everything you need and it's located in a quiet community. We just wanted to spend our afternoons in the patio watching the sunset and boats go by. House is very clean and well kept.
