Easy Check-in Home was well equipped with cooking tools, bedding, towels, etc. View is gorgeous! Quiet neighborhood Well worth the money!

Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of sheets & towels. The walk to the dock was a breeze due to a full sidewalk & short distance. Instructions for who to contact IF we needed anything were crystal clear as were the instructions for how to leave the house upon dismissal. Our cove was lovely & the kids played in the water everyday & fed fish every morning. Highly recommend!

We brought our own boat last week in June. The cul de sac cove is quiet and great to swim in. Take the boat for 5 min and you’re out in the main channel. This side of the lake is not busy but still close to Bubba Brews. We had smooth water all week. House is well appointed for 9 people with included bedding. 2 bathrooms is enough. Kitchen was great. Hot tub works. Enjoyed the fireplace. Dock was great. Driveway is steep but didn’t bother us. Walk from house to dock has a newly paved concrete sidewalk. It wouldn’t be easy for elderly or those with bad knees. Our group was aged 13-45 and didn’t stop us from having fun for a week.

We got extremely lucky finding this house, it was the last house on the lake that would fit out group of 8. Four adults and four kids ranging in age 12-15. First, the location, super easy to find by boat because it’s the first cove past Bubba Brews. Also, the cove was great because it’s in a no wake zone so you can paddleboard and kayak as well as swim off the dock without worrying about big wakes. The kids would swim off the dock in the evening, no worries because there are lights. We rented a pontoon from the owner, it was at the dock and in great shape, just as they stated and it was super convenient. Fire pit area is well stocked with wood (thank you!) House was great and I was pleasantly surprised at all of the kitchen items available, crock pot, blender and plenty of plates, glasses, flatware. The one word of caution because we looked at the exterior pictures and didn’t heed the warning. The walk from the house to the dock is extremely steep and dangerous, especially if it’s raining or in the morning and late evening when iits damp out. My father came ans he is over 70, I was very concerned about a fall. It was difficult to get heavy or awkward items to and from the dock due to the severe incline. Other than the incline, everything was fantastic!!!

This house is definitely on the quieter end of the lake. We loved that it was in a quiet cove that the kids could swim in. I feel the house looks much bigger in pics than what it is but regardless, we really enjoyed our stay here!

We wanted to get away from the third Michigan COVID surge and snow... this quiet little cove was our great escape! House is well maintained, everything was as described or better. It's obvious they are reinvesting into their properties. We've stayed in quite a variety of home rentals and this was THE best stocked kitchen!! Super easy to prepare & eat our meals, and about 10min from grocery stores. Close to multiple state parks for hiking during the day, followed by relaxing in the wonderful hot tub to ease sore muscles, and wrapping up each evening at the covered firepit. Word of caution about the property slope of this whole area: very steep, like nothing we've experienced before. Property manager was SUPER responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

This location was perfect for me, my wife, and three kids. Very peaceful with beautiful views. Our host was a great communicator and accommodated each of our needs during our stay. We would stay at this location again.

We had a great time. The only negative thing was the parking on the hill and the steep walk to the house and dock. Everything else was wonderful!

Just left this beautiful lakehouse and we are so sad. We had the best week with our family of 11. So many great memories on Norris Lake. The owner was so quick to respond each time I messaged him. Very helpful. So nice and easy to have the pier and easy access to the lake right out the back door. Perfect getaway on the lake, we did not have to leave the property for anything except boating. Amazing week and already planning for next year!

House was nice, very clean, perfect location. The house does have a strange layout, the driveway is very steep but not uncommon for Norris. Slightly steep walk down to dock but not horrible, steps or a walkway would be nice. Very close to Beach Island Marina or Cedar Grove Marina. Definitely would go back!

We all (2 couples) had a great time. Made great use of the covered dock as well as the jet ski port. The fire pit was nice for the evenings. Firewood was provided as well as all kitchen utensils we needed. The walk down to the dock was pretty steep, but we knew that from the pictures and didn't mind the exercise but if you have elderly people in your group you should take that into consideration. The manager was awesome to work and communicate with, quickly handling anything needed. He even shipped a few items of clothing we left behind and refused to let us reimburse him for the shipping costs! There is only one negative to report, and this is something we were already aware of when we booked our stay, which is check in and check out times. 5:00 check in seems a little late for check in but if you're bringing a boat or other watercraft you can arrive to the area a little sooner and use that time to put in and travel to the dock. But 10;00 A.M. is just ridiculous for a checkout time , especially when you have the hills to and from the dock to house and the steep driveway. But like I said, we knew that when we booked our stay. All that being said, we had an awesome time and would definitely recommend this property!

We loved the location in the quiet cove and the awesome boat dock with deck. It was close to enough to things but far away from it all too. The house was very well equipped and the owner was super easy to contact. He was great and responded to my email quickly with a call when I thought I locked myself out. We will certainly be back. The only drawback as with any property on this lake is the steep grade to and from the lake. There needs to be steps all the way down and a railing. My adult children all three fell down the hill. Luckily them and not me! This won't stop us from coming again just would be nice.

My spouse and I rent houses on Norris every year with a group of friends, so my review is coming from a place of experience. My #1 complaint is the HILL TO THE DOCK. The pictures are very deciving. They are actually taken of it in a completely different spot (that is the neighbors paved walkway and stairs). The slope down is tretchurous. Some stairs, pavers, gravel, or a paved walkway of ANY kind would be better than the steep rocky grass incline. Multiple people actually fell down it. After making it safely to the dock we were a little upset considering a large covered dock is a major deciding factor in our booking process. We have a smaller wakeboarding boat and it was a very tight squeeze into the covered part of the dock, and then we found there are NO CLEATS on the dock floor to tie to. There are cleats up on the very front and very back poles which was not practical at all. Pros: Once we had the neighbors move their cars, there were plenty of very nicely marked parking spots up the hill! There was living space on both floors of the house for us to spread out. Nice location super close to beach island marina (bubba brews) which has an okayish drop in and trailer parking, but the proximity was nice! Cons: The driveway hill is also very steep though so plan for that hike when loading/unloading. The trash can in the kitchen and the outside cans are way too small for a house that “sleeps 11” and the kitchen prep area is quite small when you are feeding 11 (I was misled by the pictures). 9 people partially children would be much more comfortable. If you plan to cook you might as well bring your own knives because they are so extremely dull! The living room is pretty tight to advertise using the pullout sofa (that you have to BLOW UP- instructions would have been nice, we just thought it was awfully flat the first few nights). There is no WiFi. House was overall very clean and updated. Close to the main lake but there are also nice calm and clean coves to park in close by. I would still book it again, but for a weekend trip with less people.

Absolutely a beautiful home, we fell in love with it and can’t wait till we can go back again! Our boat broke down, so we just stayed at the house and played on the dock, we enjoyed the fire pit also. The house is so comfortable, and cozy. It was clean also. Nothing but good things to say!

The home is lovely and on a nice cove. We recommend docking your boat before going to the house. It's on a narrow road with a very steep driveway with no place to safely park a boat. The road dead ends, so, you have to turn around to exit. It's dangerous with a boat in tow. Steps down to the lake would be nice. It's a steep incline and can be slippery. Great location on a quiet cove, close to the marina and Bubba Brews.
