Breakfast was good & so convenient

Our room was too cold & we couldn’t adjust the thermostat to go up. It was preset on 72. The fan was real loud right in front of our bed when it came on.

Overall this was a nice place to stay but last time I came to Saint Simons Island almost exactly a year ago I paid way less for a much nicer, bigger hotel with beach view. The breakfast was disappointing! No protein other than cold boiled eggs and all GMO prepackaged carb heavy muffins and bagels etc. I like carbs, who doesn’t? Especially on vacation, but a fresh waffle station or something would have been better than the low budget breakfast you may find in a low budget hotel off the interstate. Basically that was the selling point for me was the free breakfast, that’s what made me pay more than 100 bucks a night extra for this place and to come to this breakfast was disappointing. The customer service however was really exceptional and the dog friendly attitude is a plus. Overall though it was a good place I was a last minute reserver this time and I should have just went back to the last place but they weren’t dog friendly so I picked this with little research. My daughter is located in S.S. so I will be back but not here if I can help it. Also the coffee makers in the room could have had more non decaf coffee, no one wants all that decaf. Plus there was no kind of soap provided in the room, I just so happened to bring my own but had I not I would have been peeved by that.

Breakfast, pricing and the in room supplies like soap provided and more non decaf coffee instead of a bunch of decaf coffee.

The location was a short walk to the beach

The pull out couch wasn’t comfortable but that was kinda expected.

Most expensive place to stay on the island. Use the pier down the street for beach access but we weren’t going to the beach

The hotel location was nice given its proximity to other needed locations, the design was very modern and clean.

Although the property was new we could hear everything happening around us. The cleaning staff was loud, there was a hole in the door to bathroom door, and every time someone flushed the toilet we could hear the water running. The bed made noises, our water pressure was low and the watercolor was brown. I absolutely would not stay there again.

Has thoughtful details, super cute decor, calm, with access to King and Prince.
