We rented this house for a ski weekend and a storm was forecasted to roll in. The home owner was very communicative and helpful. She provided information about the storm and how to access shovels etc. and even offered a late check-out if the the snow was too much for us to leave. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness. House was lovely and cozy.

Nice clean property with everything you need to have a relaxing weekend. Kitchen is equipped with all you need to cook, great fireplace with plenty of wood, comfortable beds and living room.

We had a wonderful stay in a nice home under the hardwood trees. Everything was just as advertised and the rental process was straightforward and easy. Owner was prompt with communication and everything went very well. Would gladly stay here again.

This house is very well-designed with lots of nice features --- taking advantage of its location on a wooded hillside in a quiet mountaintop community. It is very peaceful and tranquil. City stresses melt away. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries. One thing the listing doesn't include (if memory serves) is that there is an 'upper deck' on the hillside above the house reachable by a set of wooden stairs, including a fire pit, where you can relax in even more seclusion. We appreciated having access to the community pool, whiich was super nice.

After searching for a couple of house at wintergreen we definitely found a winner with this property. Excellent choice for a small family or a girls trip! Property manager was excellent in her community and made everything so easy.

It was a descent home. Did a 2 day birthday trip in March of 2021. Houses are a good distance apart which was good for us talking and laughing as loud as we wanted. House was not bad for 3 friends. Each room offers outside access and privacy.. Communication with owner was not bad at all. Responses were relatively quick. However, after paying an average of almost $400 per night with taxes and fees, you'd expect the house to be clean. Upon arrival, house was dirty. Microwave filthy, counter tops dirty, towels in room not freshly washed, towels not folded in dryer. Left over items from previous guest. (No one wants a used bar of soap in the bathroom so I know it was left over) we checked in during the pandemic so I'd expect a freshly cleaned house but it was not freshly cleaned or sanitized. I know because my friends and I had to wipe everything down and the status of the wipes used showed exactly that. The house was not clean nor sanitized. The sheets even smelled used and musty. For paying such an expensive cleaning fee, I was expecting everything to be freshly cleaned and washed. Disappointing 😞 owner basically did nothing but offer excuses and took notes. (She should have refunded the cleaning fee atleast) We did check out early due to safety reasons (looked like someone broke in and we didn't trust doors we had no access that were locked in the house) overall, not a bad property but not the cleanest.

The space was clean and had everything we needed. Opening the windows kept the home cool despite not having A/C. This property is tucked away in Wintergreen away from any busy streets. Easy experience with checking in and out.

It was a great rental as described. Perfect place for a long weekend with friends.

This house in the Blue Ridge Mts was exceptionally clean. It's a beautiful location in midst of a forest. The house is stand-alone, with plenty of privacy. Host's communications were prompt, clear, and helpful. Several fans are on site in case the absence of air conditioning might otherwise make it too warm. When we stayed there in mid-May it was plenty cool, with no need for fans. Very large vehicles might find maneuvering in and out of the on-sit parking a bit tight, but for our mid-sized SUV the parking worked ok. Be aware that the drive from the resort entrance to this rental can take 10 - 15 min. There are a few restaurants within a 10 to 30 min drive, and beautiful Sherando Lake Recreation Area is nearby (beach, swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking).

We spent a lovely 3 day getaway at Kirstyn’s wooded cabin. We enjoyed the fireplace (with wood provided) and particularly the “staircase to heaven” (raised deck surrounded by woods), which was a great surprise! The upstairs bed was very comfortable. Great hikes in Wintergreen and wineries close by. Check out the Veritas Winery.

This cozy mountain cabin was perfect for three friends looking for a break from our usual day-to-day routine! The location is beautiful and just far away enough to be quiet, but not inconveniently remote. Kirstyn was a pleasure to work with, prompt communication to answer questions and make recommendations. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Hosts were absolutely wonderful, super commutative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend friends here as well. We had a group of 6, 3 couples, and the space was great. Beautiful setting, fireplace was awesome, would love to be back in warm weather to enjoy the deck. Check in was super easy, wifi and all amenities also a breeze.

We had a lovely three day stay. The house was a perfect getaway for our group of moms and small kids. The house location was perfect- easy to pop over to the mountain but still felt cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. Kirstyn was very responsive and flexible. Great experience!

Just wrapped up a perfect week in this lovely cabin home for Christmas. Ideally sized for our family of four, we cooked in every night and the home had everything needed to do so. Spent two days on the slopes, which is a short drive away (even had time to drive back to the cabin for lunch one of the two skiing days!). Kirstyn was highly responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend, and we look forward to staying there, again, in the future! P.S. The homemade sandwiches at the Devine wine/coffee shop just down the road from the home are delicious!

We enjoyed our stay in this nice home located in the Wintergreen resort. The house was clean and well cared for and it had a homey feel. The reasons I did not give an overall 5 star is the mattresses were not terribly comfortable, the common areas felt small and there seemed to be many fees associated with the booking. Otherwise, it is a nice house in and pretty location. Krystin was very communicative and easy to work with. Overall we had a great stay.

We enjoyed our recent stay at Wintergreen and are happy to recommend it. Everything was comfortable and well appointed. It made a very pleasant place to stay with our daughter and her husband and our 8 year old grandson. Our daughter was working remotely and our grandson was studying remotely because of Covid. It couldn’t have worked better! Kirstyn was always available and responsive. Recommended!

We loved this house! It was just the right size for our family of 5 and in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed available for us to use and as an added bonus it has a very cool deck that the kids loved!

Nice house, quiet location, great back deck and forested areas all around. Easy access to several good hiking trails in Wintergreen, and easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas. Would definitely come back - house had everything we needed!

We loved this house. It had everything we needed including the Ninja blender for morning mimosas! Kirstyn was always quick to respond to my questions. Despite it being the first week of August, the weather was very comfortable, highs in the low to mid 70’s during the day and low 60’s at night. I was a little worried about not having A/C in the house, but we open the windows and it was perfect all three nights! I would love to come and stay here again.

The cabin was great...clean and comfortable. The deck at the top of the stairs was a nice place to relax before dinner. We also visited a winery and brewery nearby.

Kirstyn was so great to work with. She responded quickly to all of my many emails with questions. The house was just as pictured, clean and comfortable. The house was easy to find, on top on Wintergreen resort. We were not able to take advantage of the pools because of Covid regulations but we enjoyed a hike nearby and a visit to Lake Monocan. It was an easy drive into the valley to many breweries nearby. We had a lovely long weekend getaway.

Comfortable cottage in the woods with fabulous deck. A real get away. Close to all Wintergreen activities. Lots of space, good for families.

Great little affordable getaway in the mountains clean very easy check in process. Owner was very accommodating. However be careful on the decks and outside steps in the morning time and when wet; they are very slick. (May be a good power washing would do the trick).

My college-age son and I met up in the mountains just to enjoy some quiet and catch up on life. It was serene and rejuvinating. This is a great place to recollect your sanity, or take your family to reconnect with nature. The home has everything you need and then some. It is THREE stories, so if you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place. Other than that, get set for a great time that you don't want to end.
