This house was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and in an awesome location. The house itself is only a few years old with a very open floor plan, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. It’s the perfect size for families or groups of friends. The outside had a great deck with ample seating and a very handy foot wash after coming in off the sandy beach. The house includes a really nice Flagstone fire pit area and also provides firewood on site for an additional small price. The lot itself is very private and wooded, with a short path leading down to a nice sandy beach area. The beach area was perfect for my four year old twins, whether they were swimming in shallow water, playing at the shore, or digging in the sand. The house is located on a more quiet end of the lake and I will say the lake was filled with more reeds than I’m used to. That being said we were able to fish very easily from the shore and caught quite a few small ones with our cheap bait. Check in/ out were easy, with the owner being easily contacted and there was also a handy book of household tips and tricks left on the kitchen counter for us. I highly recommend this house if you are coming to the area!

The house is stocked and beautiful. The photos really don’t do it justice! The fire pit area is relaxing and welcoming. The beach is small but for a party of 10 or less it’s perfect! Communication with the owner was seamless when necessary. I’d stay here again for sure!

This house is by far the best vacation home we’ve been in at oscoda. It’s very updated and elegant and has three bathrooms which come in handy. The beach is AWESOME! ZERO ROCKS! We had a great time! We’ll definitely be back!

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! The weather was in the 60's and 70's but our grandchildren went swimming anyway. If they weren't swimming they were wading and finding treasures in the water on the private beach. Tawas is just a short drive so we went to the Farmer's Market, out to eat, antiquing, Walmart. Came back just to relax in the beautiful house. While the kids watched movies on Netflix the adults played games. I really like how John doesn't limit renters to a week at a time. We rented for 3 nights which was perfect. We'll definitely be back to this one!!

This place is comfortable; clean and wonderful! We had a great family weekend and my sister's house is (3) lots over so we were able to combine meals and activities and hop on her pontoon boat. FABULOUS STAY

John's house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The house was modern and a great size for a small group. It was well stocked and had all the essential amenities. John was easy to communicate with. The beach, lawn, back deck and firepit area were perfect for spending the days outside.

We didn't have any issues during the stay but the host was in contact fast when we did have a question so you don't need to worry about that. We especially enjoyed looking at the stars at night, we could see quite a bit on property and a lot of shooting stars.

This was my first experience with a VRBO abs it was awesome! John made the process so easy! The house was absolutely amazing and so clean! The private beach was perfect for the kids to play in the sand and the adults to float around! Lake was great for kayaking and fishing! Would definitely stay here again!

Wow! Impressed with the owner! Customer Service is top notch! The house is absolute amazing! I have stayed in VRBOs in past and have to bring a lot of my own items, etc. This house was completely stocked all the way down to toilet paper and hand soap! The deck for meals & family fun was fantastic! The sandy Beach for swimming, fishing and boating was perfect! We definitely will visit again! Thanks Clancys!

This was a great place to relax! Awesome sandy beach area for kids and adults. We also fished right from the beach. Nice big firepit as well. House had everything you should need for long weekend or a week. The lake is huge although very shallow which was a bit of a challenge with a ski boat. all in all a great spot!!

The house was clean and had a great open concept. The master bedroom was huge and the upper balcony off the master was spacious . The backyard was beautiful. The owner left a large patch of trees which allows for a serene shaded yard. The campfire area allowed for plenty of seating and the sand and private beach was perfect for all ages.

We had a great stay at the property. It was clean and better than what the pictures showed. The owner communicated great and property was as described. Perfect home for a family. We will certainly stay again.

7 of us chose to rent this property for a wives weekend away and we found the house the perfect size for our group and sleeping arrangements were good! The pull out bed is not comfortable and the master bed is very soft, but that will obviously be completely subjective based on the sleeper, but those were the thoughts of our group. Our biggest downsides were the seating/space in the living room not being quiet enough for us all to lounge or gather and lack of a washing machine as we packed poorly and had cooler weather than planned, so would have appreciated being able to quickly wash our warmer clothing. Otherwise, everything is as stated in the listing, John and Krista were timely and Greta hosts. The master bath is worth your time to soak and have a cup of coffee on either deck. We loved our time here. The views were amazing, so much fall color. John was great and so very responsive. The furnishings were high end. It was just the relaxing trip we were looking for. Thank you for the wonderful memories. We’d definitely stay here again.
