Property as described, very clean and quiet. Just one night stay

Went to see a band at the Sanctuary Club. The location was perfect; in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance. House had a lot of character and was clean and well equipped. The price was unbeatable!

Great location, price, everything! Super quiet, has everything you need, easy to park. Karol was right on it when we had a question. Don't miss Bozek's Market! Would recommend.

Karol’s home is very comfortable and furnished with a lot of nice touches. There is a parking spot off the back alley but we found it more convenient to just park in the street. The houses are pretty close together so we didn’t do much exploring of the neighborhood but we enjoyed the backyard space when the weather was nice.

My sister and I lived our stay in this cute home! It is quirky and unique with a lot of character. The host was very responsive when I had questions. We loved the projector screen for a marathon tv session. In the morning there were many restaurants and thrift stores nearby. The host’s guide was very cute and informative. We plan on coming back during warmer weather. Thank you for a great time!

Small but nice place to stay. Close to venues and restaurant within walking distance. Welcome booklet was a nice helpful touch however some pages were missing leaving us with partial info. A reprinting would be an easy fix. Overall I would stay there again

My family and I had an amazing stay. We got into town a little early and Karol let us check in a hour before we were supposed to. There was so much super cool art throughout the home. The place was very clean. Beds are are comfy. He had everything you need there, besides food of course. I felt relaxed from the moment I walk through the door. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

This was the perfect place for me and my mom. We drove in for a concert. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of eateries nearby. The house itself was perfect. It was clean, the bedrooms were a decent size and comfortable. The best thing about the house was all of the artwork. It brought so much character and personality to the house. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Michigan again. The only complaint I have would be about the projector and remotes. While I was at the concert my mom stayed in. She had some issues trying to get the projector to work and I guess the batteries weren't working. Besides that, we had a great stay.

The place was great and clean. Lots of blankets and comfy spaces. The host was great and easy to coordinate with.

Wanting to explore the local area around Hamtramck / Detroit, we found Karol's listing as the perfect home base for our stay. Conveniently located for the occasion, and truly felt like a home away from home. Wonderfully quiet neighbourhood! and had all the accommodations we needed. Will be back again for the next round of touring in the area!

Loved this little house!! The eclectic array and mediums of art is impressive. We loved reading the booklet provided by the host, Karol, describing the artwork and stories behind it. This house is tucked away in Hamtramck neighborhood and is a gem! We appreciated all the hard work and attention to detail that went into renovating the house. You are in a working class neighborhood rich in multiple cultures and within a short drive to major events around Detroit. We will absolutely rent this place again next time we are in Detroit!

The property was clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. There was lots of art work and quirky little touches. The neighbourhood was quiet and people at the nearby cafes and whisky in the jar were very friendly and chatted with us.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The house is situated in such a culturally diverse area. I can tell the time and effort that went into creating such a unique space. The area is close to everything Detroit has to offer, and the neighborhood is calm and quiet. There is plenty of parking. I will be staying here again if I’m ever back in Detroit!

I had booked this trip last minute and through a platform that isn't typically my first preference. I had not been expecting much due to the low price. I hadn't been expecting much after pulling up to the home. It was to be a quick trip and I only cared about being near our venue. I was blown away by the vacation inside this hidden gem! The host Karol shares his adventerous life as well as the the neighborhoods incredible history. Through books, photos, and various items in the home Karol told this great story of his family and the connection to the area. I found a new appreciate for our home that night. Beautifully decorated in art he's collected and amazing things from his Mother. Amazing guide book with incredible recommendations. Comfortable beds and plenty of everything you need in the home for a short stay. I've not wanted to meet hosts more!

My wife, 12-year-old son, and I LOVED our stay at Karol's! The location was great, the quirky artful interior was awesome, and all of the amenities were outstanding. Parking was easy both on the street or in the space out back, and the proximity to whatever we were interested in doing was never to large. We're already looking at returning for another stay this fall. 5 stars all the way!!!

The space was great for our short stay. The neighborhood/parking did not give us the best feeling. Some creaking noises in the middle of the night along with a breezeway door and window that did not lock led to some safety concerns. Overall it was a fine place to stay but wouldn’t stay for long.

Property was exactly as described. Read reviews that some had issue with the coded door locks, but we had no problems. Street parking was full so we went down the alley and parked behind the house. We stayed in March and got 7” of snow that evening, but accessing the rear parking was no problem even in those conditions. Great communication with owner prior to our stay. Would/will be staying again in the future

Place was very cozy and bigger than we expected. Neighborhood was great. Parking is street parking, but we never had a problem finding a parking spot near the house. House was clean and included everything we needed. Thanks!
