Loved spending Christmas at Kiawah and this house fit our family perfectly.

We had a wonderful time at this Greensward Rd home. We were very comfortable, the pool was awesome, and looking at the wildlife next door was a treat for our kids. We took advantage of bike rentals to ride around the neighborhood and take the quick ride to the beach. Our kids are already asking us to go back! Our only issue was that the pool heater needed to be turned on by the property manager on our second day so we did lose one day of swim time. We also needed a corrected wifi network/password but the property manager was able to get that to us timely as well.

Slightly worried about how crowded it was going to be at the beach because of Covid but was not crowded at all. Walking to the beach is manageable but if you’re carrying a lot of stuff down there it’s easier just to drive down closer and have one person take car back and walk down or ride a bike after they take car back. Pool was nice for the evening time. Just make sure to get WiFi password from side of router as the password provider was wrong.

Second time in Kiawah, first in West Beach, and loved it. Easy bike access to beach (via streets boardwalk 10, via bike path boardwalk 8b) and new Cougar Point golf club and Freshfields, yet still remote enough to have baby deer visit the property and not see any other houses from our yard. We all loved having our own pool which was clean and warm. Due to Covid we ate almost every meal in and had no trouble finding appropriate cookware to do so. Bedding and linens were nice. Whole house felt new and clean. Would highly recommend, for the location and private pool I don’t think there is anything even close to this in this price range!

The house was lovely, well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could need (except beach chairs, but we knew that). The location was great and we loved the privacy on the back deck. The Akers Ellis app was very convenient, especially for the door code. We are even thinking of reserving it for a week next March, so I may be contacting you again soon.

The staff (Trapper) who checked on us and looked after our phone issue was super. Alligator bike company was terrific and very accommodating. We even kayaked down Bohicket Creek, Kiawah River and the Edisto River - neat experience. We would love to come back to the island. Thanks for your interest in our holiday.
