Had a epic day with Kennebec River Anglers and used the Cottage on the Kennebec as home base. Amazing property and experience. We will be back!

We drove in from Vermont after staying with family for four days and much activity. We loved the quietness of the cabin, the river, and the walking trails. What a wonderful way to spend the last five days of our vacation (celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary!)

I booked the stay as a birthday vacation for my husband. He was very happy and we both enjoyed the stay! The cabin was beautiful! Great location and my husband loved he could fish to his hearts content Location was perfect. It was very relaxing and a place we would go back to for sure!

The cottage on the kennebec was perfect. Clean, well supplied, chickens greeting us, kayaking, hiking, comfy beds, and loved the notebook with info on things to do. Will be back!

Clean, Clean, clean and new. In the woods - you can hear the river but close to the main road. Owners thought of everything you may need while staying at their cabin. Loved it!

The cabin was better than expected, it was clean and neat. It has everything you need and more, Kim and Steve thought of everything. The beach is beautiful, the whole area is just amazing and the morning sunrise was a nice treat. I look forward to my next visit, thank you again for opening up your place for us.

This was an exceptional place to get away to in Maine! We loved the cabin and the location. Mike and Kim were super friendly and helpful and even brought us fresh picked strawberries! The kids enjoyed fishing in the river and skipping rocks. The adults loved relaxing by the river. We all got a huge kick out of the friendly chickens, too. :) Should we venture back to Maine in the future we would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great memories!

What a great cottage!!! Has everything you need including washer and dryer!! It was very nice and convenient to fishing!!! Right outside the door to the river!!! Hosts were there if we needed anything but also respected our privacy!! Would recommend this cottage highly!!!

The words “charming” and “cozy” just don’t say enough about this cabin. We enjoyed sitting by the wood burning stove in comfortable chairs, with beautiful views of the Kennebec River. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed including big, thirsty towels. Thank you, Mike and Kim, for sharing this hidden jewel!

This cottage was amazing! Beautifully upkeep, all the necessities, quaint, quiet, remote, I can't say enough positive things about it. The property owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We never met them, but they were right there if we needed them. They were very responsive to messages as well. We stayed to do some hiking near by and couldn't have left happier and more rejuvenated. We will definitely be back!!!

My wife and I spent a 4 day getaway at this cabin to relax and do some fall fly fishing. This property far exceeded expectations. The property was spotless and had all of the amenities. I had the opportunity to meet Mike (the owner). He immediately asked if we were happy with the property and if we needed anything. We will return in the spring and summer next year.

The photos of the property looked great, but it was even better than expected. We arrived to cheerful mums and a pumpkin on the front porch, along with a welcome greeting from the owner. The kitchen was stocked with unexpected things, like coffee supplies, condiments, and reusable water bottles. Towels were soft, clean and abundant and sheets and pillows were of high-quality. The decor was nicer than expected, with fluffy throws, charming quilts, and good reading lights. There were also interesting books, games, and guides for local activities and restaurants. The whole place was immaculate and welcoming. We loved the outdoor fire pit and only wish we’d been at the property more during the day to enjoy the riverside setting. If we are in the area again we would not hesitate to return to this lovely cabin. Highly recommend!

The cottage provided a perfect getaway for my husband and I after a year of being on screens and a few crowded days in Portland! Mike and Kim have provided everything you could want and need. We enjoyed relaxing by the river, trying our hand at stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, playing games at night, and sleeping close to nature on the screened-in front porch. We didn't use the screened-in gazebo or personal fire-pit area, but would have with more time. The binder with details regarding local hiking, activities, and restaurants was very helpful when venturing out into unknown territory. We did a few hikes that were detailed in the binder and enjoyed meals at a some of the restaurants, too. The cabin was so clean that we felt like we were the first people to ever stay there. We appreciated Mike and Kim giving us privacy, but were also grateful to know that they were nearby (and nice to talk to!). We highly recommend this property!
