A beautiful guesthouse in the heart of Monemvasia. We had such a lovely stay and would recommend Kellia as a base for exploring the town. We would absolutely recommend taking advantage of the breakfast they provide - lots of very good food!

The location was great, right by the water (with a balcony to enjoy the view), and the breakfast was superb. Our room had two bedrooms and a huge living room- they even included some complimentary wine. Monemvasia itself, of course, is magical and if we return, we would not bother to look at any other properties. Do not hesitate to book this one.

Ωραία τοποθεσία και ευγενικό προσωπικό. Εξαιρετική η πρόταση για δοκιμή κρασιών στο κατάστημα Κελάρι, όπου η εξυπηρέτηση είναι επίσης εξαιρετική και δεν έχουμε λόγια για τον επαγγελματισμό και τις γνώσεις πάνω στο κρασί και τα τοπικά προϊόντα.

Υπάρχει μια εκκλησία μπροστά στο κατάλυμα και σε συνδυασμό με κάποια δεντράκια εκεί μπροστά κρύβεται όλη τη θέα. Το δωμάτιο μας είχε παλιά έπιπλα και παρά πολύ σκόνη πάνω σε αυτά. Τα κάγκελα του κρεβατιού στο προσκέφαλο έπρεπε να τα καθαρίσουμε με μανταλάκια. Το πρωινό τώρα, στο οποίο δίνουμε ιδιαίτερη σημασία ήταν φτωχότατο έως απαράδεκτο σε ποσότητα και σε επιλογές για τα χρήματα που δώσαμε. Να σημειώσω εδώ οτι το μέλι που σέρβιραν ήταν μικρό ατομικό μέλι συσκευασμένο σαν τα γνωστά που βρίσκουμε στα ξενοδοχεία εισαγώμενα από Βουλγαρία και όχι τοπικό (μας έκανε τρομερά κακή εντύπωση). Επίσης το πρωινό το σερβίρουν και δεν υπάρχει μπουφέ. Το νερό του μπάνιου ήταν αλμυρό (το ξέραμε αυτό αλλά οκ). Ξέραμε οτι τα περισσότερα καταλύματα στη Μονεμβασιά έχουν υψηλές τιμές την περίοδο που πήγαμε αλλά το λογικό είναι να μείνεις ευχαριστημένος με την ποιότητα και για τον λόγο αυτό επιλέγεις να δώσεις τα χρήματα. Αν δεν έχεις θέα οκ, αλλά θέλεις τουλάχιστον να είσαι στα καθαρά και να έχεις ένα πλούσιο πρωινό πάνω απολα ποιοτικό το οποίο να μπορείς να επιλέξεις εσύ όταν έχεις δώσει 300€ για 2 διανυκτερεύσεις.

Beautiful building, great staff and fantastic location. The breakfast was exceptional way above the average of what is served at hotels. Towels slippers and shower products provided. The free water and local wine in our room was a nice touch. Keep up the good work; I would definitely recommend the Kellia guest house and rebook again.

The bathroom was a little small - hard to shower without flooding the floor. Consider enclosing the shower with a full door. Otherwise everything was fantastic

Comfortable stay on the island in a quiet peaceful area. Great and plentiful breakfast. Lovely complimentary rose wine. Don't forget to visit their wine cellar shop for some wine and olive tastings. Great little town to get lost in while exploring.

Bathroom can get a bit wet after showers. We were able to find parking along the street outside the castle wall, about 800 m away from Kellia (according to Google Map). Suggest travel light as not easy to lug your baggage around the cobblestone paths and steps.

this was one of the coolest places I think I have yet to stay in Greece! Our host Michael was fantastic. He met us as we arrive very late, and it can be a little tricky, figuring out where the guest house is, but he made it very easy. The views from the room of the sea were absolutely picturesque …the sunrise is like no other, we made sure to get up super early and watch the sun come up over the sea. The rooms were great! They each had separate bathrooms and a beautifully accommodating living space we will definitely be back here. This place was absolutely majestic! and the host was fantastic. This is definitely a place you want to visit and stay!

Kellia is the right place to stay if you want to enjoy Monemvasia old town charm to the fullest. Our room was full of old-time character and and we enjoyed the warm night at the huge terrace. Personnel was super nice and we had absolutely the best breakfast in Peloponnesos! Will definitely book again if happen to be in that region.

What a great place! Magical! Hosts were beyond friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was over the top! One of those places that you don't want to leave! Unbelievable value for the money! We can't say enough about how nice this accommodation is, beyond our expectations!

The location is excellent. Staff and owners are great and the service and support is beyond expectations. The location cannot be bettered.

The location within the castle walls, overlooking the sea is absolutely great. The traditional stone decor of the former monastery also makes for a very unique stay.

The place is magic! The room was so clean and the staff really friendly!! The breakfast was delicious and more than enough! We also had the chance to try some local wine when we arrived as a treat! We totally recommend it!

The location is incredible. We had a beautiful room and enjoyed our stay. The complementary wine and tasting from the family was a bonus. we highly recommend this hotel.

Such a beautiful building. Enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the breeze, listening to the sea whilst sipping some wine by moonlight as quiet music wafted in the background. Breakfast was a feast. Staff were friendly and attentive. Found it simpler to park in the free car park and take the half hourly bus to the gates. Saved a lot of hassle looking for a parking spot and then walking the remaining distance on foot.
