From the scenic rolling hills to the opened gate as we drove in and immediately overlooked lake Travis and saw our “castle” for the weekend, we were in awe and felt worlds away from Texas. It was truly breathtaking. We arrived just before sunset, with the sun glistening on the lake and had full view of the lake, surrounding hills from our private balcony. Could not have asked for a more picturesque hidden gem. What a relaxing, birthday weekend! Elise our host provided a surprise welcome basket of goodies and wine which was an added touch and a lovely welcome. It appears as though the “castle” is getting some updating, can’t wait to go back and see what changes were made. Highly recommend this host and property!!!!!!!! We didn’t want to leave

Very beautiful property!

Such a fun different property. Set high with a breathtaking view of Lake Travis. It is a little castle, a fun property that has the feel of castle, but the bed is so comfy. Elise, property manager kept the lines of communication open and took care of all our needs. This was our second stay on the property and we will repeat🙃😊

The castle is the perfect balance between charm and stunning beauty. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. The views were absolutely incredible ~ we actually didn’t even leave the residence the entire stay as there was no where else that we wanted to be more than the castle.

The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. The view of the lake is the selling point for this place. It’s gorgeous sunset views of the lake are worth the stay. Only negative was the internet wasn’t working and the door to the terrace has a bad handle that locked us out.

The castle was perfect. It was so peaceful, and everything was at our fingertips. Also, it was very welcoming, and the balcony was so beautiful. The directions, and accommodations were great. We are definitely going back. Thanks

This property is absolutely stunning and to die for! So beautiful and the medieval castle vibes are everything! The view is breathtaking from the balcony and the bedroom and the sunsets were fabulous!! The Castle vibes are wonderful and it is like your own private sanctuary on Lake Travis. The apartment at the top of the castle is well stocked with everything that you could need, even down to laundry detergent and garbage bags. It is very clean, well stocked with towels and sheets, and the a perfect place to stay for a nice getaway with friends or romance. Very spacious and comfortable and my friend and I enjoyed it immensely. Elise was great to communicate with and very nice and kind and helpful. We will definitely be returning back again and again!

My husband and I spent the weekend in the castle for our 28th anniversary. Everything was perfect. Very relaxing, especially watching the boats off the balcony. The cloud cover helped with amazing weather. We didn’t cook, but everything was available if you do. The only suggestion, please consider at least 2 rolls of toilet paper versus 1. We checked everywhere Sunday morning and found no extra. Thankfully we were leaving. **To those who are older or have bad knees, the stairs could be a challenge.

We had an excellent time at this castle! Was a super unique experience - very clean on the inside with everything that was needed to wash clothes, cook, and be comfortable. The view was incredible. We would absolutely go back!

My husband and I were looking for the perfect get away spot after prom, but before graduation of our last child (4th). A wild range of emotions, deadlines, finances, & exhaustion were taking us over, so we decided to take a little break to regroup. This was exquisite for exactly what we needed! The accommodations were exactly as described online, clean, comfortable, Door Dash, masseuse that came to us..awesome! Only downfall for us were the “yapping” dogs next door. 😫. Overall we loved it and will come back again!

Agree with all the wonderful reviews. Future guests should be advised of steps to entry(see listing photo). Carrying suitcases up and then back down could be challenging for some.

My wife and I had the chance to be kid free for a weekend and booked this place. It was beautiful, romantic and relaxing weekend. The location is quiet with great restaurants nearby. We will be back as soon as possible!

This place is amazing. Unique and beautiful property, with views that are out of this world. Great sunsets, and lots of nearby attractions. Couldn't have been a better way to spend three days in the area!

This is a wonderful property with good sized rooms, nice amenities, and a fantastic view. Very relaxing and just what we were looking for. Just a quick note on entry - my wife has vertigo and the stairs to the apartment were incredibly hard for her to navigate. Other than that we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommend. Sunsets are spectacular!

We hate fuzzies so we loved the check in and communication process. The castle was very cozy and beautiful. They have all the necessities there at your disposal. Our timing wasn’t great, it was cloudy and rainy majority of the time. We didn’t do much but it was what we needed, to just relaxed and lazed around. Loved the view from the balcony.

I booked this rental for my wife's birthday! She absolutely loved it! It was beautiful, and such a unique property. The views were incredible! My wife loved to just sit on the balcony and enjoy the views, and the breeze! They even had a bottle of wine for us on the kitchen counter when we got there. Such a nice sentiment. The home looked just like the pictures, and the location was great! The home is gated so you are completely safe. Such an amazing home! My wife said it was the best birthday ever! We will definitely want to stay here again sometime.

One of, if not the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. The owner even had a gorgeous welcome basket for us when we arrived. Views were stunning. Had everything we needed from coffee and coffee maker, ice made in freezer, bottle openers, you name it. Perfect location. Extremely clean. Book it now before its sold out.
