Having spent as many years trying to get here this did not disappoint. The area is very beautiful, every corner you turn is like a picture postcard, including the fantastic view from the balcony Paola has been an excellent host with immediate responses and great information, and the apartment is clean, well equipped and such a wonderful location. We have had an amazing time and would highly recommend everything!

Maybe a ‘real’ oven rather than a combi microwave, but other than that everything was perfect

Amazing place in an amazing location. Beautifully decorated, very clean. Great air conditioning! Paola was a great host and left us some snacks and wine to help us celebrate our engagement. Bed super comfy! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The apartment was very clean and was perfectly located on the marina. Our balcony provided an amazing view of the water. The wifi was exceptional, which was very important to us since we "lived/worked' in the apartment for two weeks and needed a strong connection. Our hostess, Paola, was tremendous! Very helpful suggestions on places to eat, things to do etc, and was responsive with any questions we had.

The train took a few nights to get used to but other than that, no issues at all!

Everything!! Our host Paola was fantastic, she greeted us as arranged and was so friendly and helpful for the whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. "Thanks Paola" The apartment itself was fabulous, even better than the photos. It is in a perfect location.

The location of this property is right in the centre of the very desirable Riomaggiore; despite this it’s very quiet when you close the shutters and the air con is fantastic. The internal quality of true apartment is phenomenal and makes it a refuge from the busy Cinque Terra in summer. The host Paola is a phenomenal host! Riomaggiore and Linguia in general is not expensive for food and drinks, the quality is very good!

nothing - only minor comment for information is that when a train goes past it can be very noisey but the pros significantly outweigh this minor point and I would happily stay here again!

We loved our stay at Sergeant First Class in Riomaggiore. Our host Paola was incredible, she met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment - which is necessary in Riomaggiore! She also offered suggestions on activities and restaurants to visit. The apartment has everything we needed. Newly refurbished, spacious and clean! The balcony was our favourite part! We can’t wait to stay again!

It was perfect! The crowds during the day can be a little overwhelming - but after 5pm the travellers head home and the village becomes much quieter!

Riomaggiore is beautiful, with great views, food, and coastline. Paola are host was amazing and ensured that everything from our check-in to our stay was flawless.

It wasn't a concern for us, but if you don't like crowds, then avoid peak times of the year.

Beautifully renovated and close to the water! If you’re going to stay in Riomaggiore, this would be an excellent choice! Stunning sunsets! If we could do it again, though, we would stay in Monterosso.

Having the timing pressure to meet up with a local for access to the property and garage (coming and going). Also, it’s down a long hill, so bring your lightest bag.

Absolutely perfect location overlooking the sea. Amazing balcony which we used to have some evening meals. The apartment is super modern inside. Lovely touches of exposed brick. Great shower with cool coloured lights that you can control (or turn off). Good sized bathroom. Really comfy bed. 1 television in the living room and 1 in the bedroom which exceeds expectations! Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and fridge freezer! Paola met us to give the keys and recommended some restaurants and activities (especially whilst it was raining). The wine tasting experience Paola recommended was fantastic at Gheme. Paola was super nice and was really interested in us having a good experience in Cinque Terre! Toiletries and hairdryer/straighteners were a lovely touch too. Aircon in both the living area and bedroom which will be perfect on the height of summer. Highly recommended!

Thought long and hard for things we do not like and we cannot think of anything, what a perfect apartment!

Such a great place. Apartment is newly finished and well stocked with supplies. Nothing overlooked, they even included beach towels to use. The view was perfect and we enjoyed apertivo on the deck daily. Paola was great, providing us with tips on local restaurants and things to do. You are in a wonderful location right by the bay of Riomaggiore with restaurants outside your door and the train just 5 minutes away. I would highly recommend this location for any family of 4 or even just one person. It made our stay in Cinque Terre absolutely perfect!!
