Clean cabin within walking distance of ski lifts. Check in was super simple. We very much enjoyed our time in the condo. Communication with Jeff was easy via text. He was very helpful and responded very quickly. We had a great time!

Very nice place with a great location. Walking to Sugar Mountain to ski instead of having to drive and find parking made a huge difference. I would definitely go back again.

Owner was great from start to finish. We felt welcomed before we ever got there. The place was quite roomy; we enjoyed the stay!

We did not expect that there was no air conditioning. However, even though the first couple of days were very warm, the unit was comfortable. The range panel did not work until we reset the breaker. The fourth bedroom is a small loft for kids. In spit eof these, the overall stay was quite good for us.

We had a great time a Sugar! The location of the condo was perfect. Short walk to the slopes. Beds were very comfortable especially after skiing all day. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of room. Jeff was a great host and quick to respond even while he was on his own vacation.

If you’re looking for a rental for the family that’s in a great location, this is the one. We spent 4 days snowboarding and walked from the condo to Sugar Mountain. It’s about a 10 minute walk and not too strenuous. Jeff is a great host. He was very informative and laid out everything you need to know perfectly. There’s also a list of things to do and places to eat listed on the fridge. We couldn’t ask for better. Since VRBO charges a pretty good fee for housekeeping, I think it’s important to bring up that they could do a better job in certain areas of the condo. I believe this lies solely on VRBO to make sure their personnel are doing their job properly. Besides that, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Had a great time with my girlfriends in the mountains, this is a great base to explore the cute towns, wineries and landmarks in the area. I loved that we never seemed to be in the traffic, always going the other way and close to great restaurants and shopping. Great communication, really appreciated your help!

Cute little condo but much smaller than the pictures. No air conditioning so it got a little stuffy inside. Opening windows helps. Kitchen pots/pan were a little haphazard and there were no kid friendly cups/dishes. Cleanliness was just ok. Overall, we like the place and had a great stay.

There was plenty of room on the property for 4 adults to stay. The kitchen was equipped with all of the necessary utensils and dishes to prepare meals and even store leftovers. However, when arrived at the property it was difficult to find since we did not know we had to enter the first door to be let into the building and then use the keypad to unlock the actual door that led to the inside of the cabin. The towels and sheets were clean, but alot of the surfaces in the interior of the cabin were pretty dusty and there was an odor coming from the kitchen when we first arrived. There wasn't alot of light in the kitchen which made it difficult to cook meals but a brighter lightbulb or added fixture could probably solve the problem. In the upstairs bedroom with the twin beds, it was also very difficult to see since the only light fixture was a small lamp on the nightstand. Overall, I would give our stay 3 stars. It functioned well as a base for meals and rest but I would consider another property if we were to return in the future for a longer stay.

This property is VERY convenient to Linville Gorge Wilderness & Caverns and multiple wineries. It was sparkling clean and snug.

This was a great place to stay! The unit was generously appointed with everything we needed and more! The owner was great to work with and very accommodating to any questions / needs we had. Someone in our party left their keys at the unit and the owner graciously mailed them back to us. Thanks again! We would recommend this place and would love to come back!

We really managed to settle into this home for the short period we were there. We got lucky and had snowfall on Christmas Eve and woke to a glorious white Christmas. Settled in comfortably into the home during that time and the location really allowed us to maximize our enjoyment; was only a short walk down to the ski lodge where we were able to gear up and hit the slopes quickly.

This condo is cozy, attractive, and well-equipped. Though smaller than it appears in the photos, the condo was comfortable for 6 adults. We especially loved the deck, which receives morning light. The area is quiet and peaceful.
