We had the pleasure of staying at Hospederia Casa de Cisneros, this incredible 10-bedroom hotel in Toledo, Spain and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location couldn’t have been better—right next to the stunning Toledo Cathedral, offering breathtaking views of the city and the cathedral from the rooftop terrace. It was such a joy to relax up there and take in the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel itself has an authentic, charming feel that really captures the spirit of Toledo. Every corner of the space felt thoughtfully designed, making it truly unique. It was also impeccably clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. What made this place stand out even more was the friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering great recommendations and always being available to help. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, with a variety of fresh options to start the day off right - don’t miss the chance to dine there! Overall, I can’t recommend this hostel enough for anyone visiting Toledo. Whether you’re here for the history, the views, or just a relaxing stay, this place offers it all with warmth, authenticity, charm and an excellent location.

15th century building lovingly restored, full of antiques and antique reproductions. Great central location right by the cathedral. Large comfortable bed. Balconies in room. Warm reception. Rooftop terrace glorious at night with cathedral lit up. Daily housekeeping. Breakfast on offer with flexible options at a sensible price. Air conditioning a godsend in 102 degree weather.

Received notification the day of arrival requesting time of arrival when I had already messaged it. Incense odor throughout property. Shower with one glass wall that I kept running into, and one shower curtain with a mildew odor. Small bathroom.

one can hear a bit between the rooms (or unavoidable because of the space and structure). it is not a problem if guests are considerate. other than that it is very quiet.

I was a bit nervous about the accommodation as I booked an interior room with only a window in the atrium, but the property was so quiet, the bed so comfortable, and I slept 13 hours the night I was there! The location cannot be beat - it is right in the heart of Toledo. As such, I was able to pop in and out of the property during the day and not carry anything around with me. Staff were kind and helpful. I don't speak any Spanish and we were able to communicate, in the case of the breakfast staff through hand gestures. Breakfast was not included in the price but was only a couple of euros for coffee and toast and so convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
