Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber in einem älteren Bau sehr schön renoviert und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und die Lage des Hotels ca 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Das Hotel liegt nur durch eine Straße vom Meer und der Promenade getrennt. Keine direkte Meerbademöglichkeit (Strände leicht per Auto erreichbar). Nicht immer leicht einen Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden.

Schwierige Parkmöglichkeit, so man mit einem Mietauto kommt

Room 71, balcony with panorama view, excellent location, sea front, excellent restaurant with very friendly staff. Reception open 24/7 and very helpful. Overall; Great value for money. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I love that the location is on the water and that it is a short walk into town. The propety was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The breakfast selection was limited. I was dissapointed that there was canned fruit instead of fresh fruit.

It's a 3 star hotel but for me it was like 4 🌟. I expected to be good because of all the good reviews , however it exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect. Staff very professional , kind ,nice and helpful . All of them .🥰 Great breakfast. Very , very clean room with all the utilities , and amazing view from the balcony. Location perfect , very close to the old town , and you can only enjoy the walking 🥰 Fully recommend!!! Best in town! When I will return to Alghero I will definitely come back to El Balear.💗💗💗 Thank you all for all your efforts!!!

La atencion en la recepcion. Nos dieron habitacion superior a la reservada. Todos muy amables y serviciales. Muy limpia y amplia la habitacion con hermosa vista al mar.

No tiene parking. Pero se puede estacionar sobre la calle cerca solo q dias de mucho turismo es dificil conseguir lugar.

Es la segunda vez que me alojo en el hotel y es divino!! Bien ubicado, frente al mar, con un desayuno variado y el personal es muy amable

“The sea view” was sea view 40% between buildings. The room was very old which I could not see on profi pics from photographer.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable and the view from the window across the bay was fantastic. The breakfast and dinner provided in the restaurant was tasty with lots of choice.

Having a sea view meant that we were in the rooms at the front of the hotel where there was no lift access. This meant 2 flights of stairs every time to access the room, and it was difficult for us 'older' people with luggage, although I'm sure someone would have helped if we'd thought to ask

Amazing view

Overall the hotel is clean and has a nice sea side location, 10 minutes walking distance to old town along the promenade. The single room and bathroom is quite spacious, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Had a nice little balcony and was lucky with a sea view. Breakfast was good. Nice staff. The close by beach is not so tempting for spending time, but on the door step is a beach bar which was quite nice.

Furniture and the hotel is a bit outdated.

Very nice and cozy hotel close to the center of beautiful Alghero. The rooms were clean. The service is very nice and speaks good English.

No lift in extreme heat. Evening meal in the restaurant was not great the menu was deceptive . Ordered stwed prawns in orange and received 4 prawns and I slice of orange to the side .

Our four night stay at Hotel El Balear was excellent! This comfortable and pleasant sea view hotel is located in a prime location with numerous cafes nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the main part of town and the port. In front of the hotel there is a lovely promenade bordering the pristine sea, and this walkway goes to the old town. We booked a triple room with a beautiful sea view and a balcony. This well-managed hotel has friendly, helpful personnel who are eager to assist the customers. The congenial staff at the front desk helped us with luggage and assisted us with restaurant recommendations. In addition, we were impressed with the professional, friendly waiters in the breakfast room. They were highly attentive to us and offered us perfect cappuccinos. There was a generous, delicious buffet breakfast with freshly made pastries, fresh fruits, and a variety of hot selections, like eggs and bacon. We highly recommend Hotel El Balear!

Nice, atmospheric older hotel in a perfect location facing the sea and a short, pleasant walk into town. If you can afford it, definitely worth booking a superior room in the front of the hotel, as the view is stunning. This is also the nicer part of town, as opposed to the northern end, which is much more congested and noisier. There's a small, rocky beach right by the hotel, which gets a lot of negative reviews, but it's a convenient place to take a swim and never crowded. The included breakfast was very good.

they don’t have stairs and the bedroom wasn’t very clean, we found a few insects inside.

The location is wonderful, right in front of the sea and walking distance to the old city. We left the window open and feel asleep listing in the ocean just in front of us. Very help staff and clean comfortable rooms. The bed was especially comfortable. The hotel also has a lot of character, very well taken care of and uplifting place. Wonderful.
