Perfect location whilst travelling through Europe & easy parking right outside the hotel.

We were offered a good price deal in the restaurant for an evening meal.

The location is good, if you want to stay near the St. Gotthardt tunnel on the way to/from Italy.

Where to start?! When we booked via Booking.com, we selected a room for two persons. The last option was a tripple room for two. Upon arrival at night, the receptionist remarked in a very rude manner that we had booked a room for three, but we were only two people. Mind you, that was the only option via Booking and we paid for a proper three-bedroom. Since he was obviously annoyed, we said that we would be glad to downgrade to a two-bedroom, but then he told us they were booked out. We didn’t understand his point at all. Then we tried to find a parking slot just to find out that there was none. After a while, another staff member moved his car, which was parked in front of the hotel’s backdoor and told us to just park there. It was a bad spot, but at least we were able to park there in the end. The room was very simple, the hallway run down. Breakfast was very basic with limited options and it was presented in an unhygienic way, especially considering Covid measures. When you want to use the restrooms on the ground floor where breakfast is served, you will find that the doors are locked and a bartender will tell you you have to buy a drink at the bar, so they will unlock the restroom door. Poor value for money. We suggest to find a better place.

The breakfast was good and open early (06:00). There was free parking and a bike room. The beds were comfy.

The Wifi was not good.

We stayed one night for a stopover during our trip to Italy. The hotel has a perfect location on the highway, just after the Gotthard Tunnel It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and they propose also dinner menu, which we didn’t try. The personnel was friendly.

It was too expensive for a Motel, but I guess this is normal in Switzerland.

Wifi limitation or connectivity. Sometimes, the wifi connection keeps breaking in the room.

Despite that we arrived late due to traffic and the kitchen was closed, a meal for 5 was served. Marvelous

The rooms were basic and clean, had all the amenities required nothing over the top. The location was alright nothing much to see around it for non skiers but Lugano and Ascona are around an hours drive from here and Milan probably around two/two and a half hours.

The breakfast spread was highly disappointing. They gave us a plate which consisted of two pieces of cold cut meats and 1 piece of cheese for breakfast along with some bread and some other condiments. The staff here was not that friendly they were quite cold and did not put in much effort when we asked about the information of the place and the surroundings.
