No Wifi - load shedding and no inverter. When power was on, lights are very dim, no communication in between times.

Made to feel welcome by the host and the housekeeper Doris made a fantastic breakfast. The view was amazing and the room and bathroom was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Edgecombe lodge. The lodge is just a simple stroll from dinner at the clubhouse and a we had a wonderful walk on the golf course in the early am. Lodge has everything you may need. It was absolutely perfect for a very comfortable and convenient work trip. Andrew was also very helpful and a great host!

This was a tranquil and beautiful place - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host even went out of his way to prepare me a delicious packed breakfast from woolies as I had a very early flight out. The bath was lovely and bathroom clean and spacious

The staff was excellent, beautiful room and facilities
The security is a knight mare raining and you have to open your window for the poor guy that must try and scan disc and I'd in the rain. Surely a card or code should do the trick if you stay longer than a day

The whole estate is calm and relaxing. The lodge was well looked after and the care than Andrew takes in your stay and breakfast makes it a 5 star rating for us!

Everything! The room was perfect; clean, it had everything I needed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the location was perfect and the voew was beautiful! I was in nature in the city; I got to fall asleep to the sound of nature. And in the morning I got breakfast!
Everyone was perfect! Nothing to complain about!

Property is located in an extremely safe and secure residential estate. Furthermore the property is close to and has easy access to Gateway Mall, uMhlanga Ridge, La Lucia and major motorways.
If you’re a golfer, you will be in close proximity to Mount Edgecombe - The Woods (property is literally on the 9th hole) and The Lakes courses, and a short drive to KZN’s top 3 courses.

Very nice setup and location is great to have a peaceful stay while only minutes away from everything. The lodge is well organised and has a great breakfast, really enjoyed it !! Thank you Andrew for looking after us and making it a great stay, will definitely be back
