There should be a warning about the road works around the hotel. You cannot get near the place for roadworks.

Needed a place to crash just for one night in Aix due to a long trip coming from Milan to BCN and we have stayed at this Ibis close to the road and the city. It was ok, the front desk guy was attentive and polite, helped us with the bags to the second floor, as it doesn’t have an elevator.

Air conditioning was too old and didn’t reach temperature… in August is a problem. Breakfast for 7,50 was expensive in my opinion

ibis budget rooms are all the same so one knows exactly what to expect. SImple to use and very effectively furnished.

The showerhead was at waist height which seemed strange. Why is the sink the other side of the room from the shower? I do hate the awkward system for arriving late. I have stayed here a few times and every time I wrestle with the "reservation number". When I came last time the "reservation number" was not the same as the Booking.com "booking number". This time it did work although I was searching for ages on my computer for the "reservation number". Once inside though, no complaints. .

It's a great option for one night. We got what we expected. Clean room comfy bed, nice receptionist. Rooms are small but we did not mind since just stopped onbthe way to Spain and it's really closed to motorway. Good value for money.
