I loved how close it was located to the ski slopes and the shops were walking distance away for any groceries needed. The house was very comfortable and stocked with whatever we needed to accommodate our group of 8 people. The hosts were just a text away and very responsive to any need. We had an absolutely wonderful time. I highly recommend this place for any winter holiday.
If I HAVE to add something here …. maybe that the stove top took a while to heat up, but it’s a totally minor thing which didn’t affect my opinion of the place in any major negative way.

Awesome! Our stay was easy and cozy. It's a complete house with just the right amount of space and the location was near the ski resort.

Comfortable and convenient apartment with essential kitchen equipment including a dishwasher, clean bathroom and bedrooms suited for our group. The place is close proximity to groceries, points of attractions, activity areas, and a good chance for spectators to spot the northern lights.

Good option for families. Kids can go to bed while adults use the lounge to watch tv.
Difficulty in getting taxis to know where we were staying. A clear and simple 'This is the address to use for taxis' type note on the wall would be really helpful.
Also we had issues locking the door, or understanding how to lock the door. (Maybe an English thing!) But the caretakers were out super fast to help us.
And it turned out it was really simple and the key wasnt needed to.lock the door. But info about it would be helpful.

Absolutely brilliant, not a thing to fault. Taxi or car if going with children. Cannot walk to bus stop in the cold weather/snow. On the ski slopes so we went sledging everyday. Wonderful host. Definite bargain

A cottage with everything you may need, sauna was good. There is also a washing machine, which can be usefull for a long stay. Spacious inside, good parking place, trampoline for kids - our kids liked it. The ski slopes are very close.
We didn't know where to leave the key at checkout, in the instructions they didn't mention.

The regular beds are quite comfortable. The chalet has washing machine and dryer.
The convertible beds are not very comfortable.

We really liked the layout of the cottage and the location was great, being so close to the ski lifts.
The sofas were very uncomfortable, luckily we didn’t need to use them as a bed.

The chalet was warm and cosy, the sauna was a fantastic facility to have, the chalet was well-equiped, great location for skiing, not far from Santa's Village.

The place was spacious enough. It is near the ski park. Snow gliders are available for free use.
Hoped for a bigger SAUNA enough for a big group. The warm water wasn't enough for the whole day, so we took a shower with ice cold water at night🥶. Wished for a bigger and newer cooking pans, also additional hand towels and toilet papers. The biggest burner of the stove wasn't working. Otherwise the place was great and nevertheless we enjoyed our stay🙂

Me and my friends loved the cottage - it was spacious, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped, we were able to cook all our meals there. I loved the tiny sauna in the cottage! The cottages are a bit outside of the city centre but very close to all skiing facilities on the Ounasvaara mountain.

Convenient location for skiing
Expensive considering the quality, building super cheaply made with poor materials, not enough cutlery, old microwave that sometimes left food cold and other times burnt it down, dirty sauna in need of renovation, concerning safety hazards (living room lights blinking so there might be some problems with wiring, loose electric sockets, long curtains in front of a radiator that has a sticker ”do not cover”, etc.)

BE AWARE for hight bed linen prices which came out of nowhere on the very last minute on our stay. We have paid additionaly half the price of our stay just for bed linens.
Only one shower for 10 people and it situated in the sauna room so they are blocking each other for usage.

Loved having the whole house to ourselves. It had great amenities, including a washing machine, dishwasher and TV. The living space and kitchen is great for entertaining. The host was very friendly and willing to help. My next trip to Rovaniemi, I'll be staying here 😊
I didn't realise there was an extra fee for linen and towels, but even with the extra fee, the place was still affordable. The walls are quite thin so it's recommended to take ear plugs just in case. Also, the cottage isn't within walking distance to the city so you can only get around with a car.

The location was excellent. The house was clean. The flexibility in checking in and checking out timing was great and really helpful
The beds were not so comfortable. Especially the sofa. Not recommended for 6 people.
