Property was clean, comfortable and had beautiful views.

There were no proper roads leading up to the property.

The owner, Doerthe, could not have been more charming and accommodating. There was a welcome basket of toasts, jams and butter on arrival that lasted most of our 4-day stay, and she even brought us some homemade treats, such as moussaka and karpouzopita—watermelon pie—a Melian specialty. There is a grocery store and bakery very close to the apartment, so it's a cinch to buy breakfast items, water, coffee, yogurt, etc. on the first day. The property is close to Adamantas, the port town, but set back and on a hill, which affords a stunning view of the town and sea. Be aware that it is not really feasible to walk to town (or anywhere, for that matter)—you need a car. The road to access the property is steep, so steep that you cannot take the same road to access places to the north—you have to go down the hill toward town and circle back to do that. The apartment was well-appointed and included a very spacious terrace with two chaises longues and a dining table for four.

The only drawback is that the shower is very narrow, but this was only a minor hindrance.

The accommodation was very well maintained, cleaned daily and we arrived to some essentials in the fridge and coffee for the coffee maker which was a lovely touch. The views are beautiful. The host is a lovely lady, with so much valuable information about the island which helped us to have a perfect holiday. She even left us a freshly baked cake outside for breakfast one day. A really wonderful place to stay.

Fantastic accommodation! We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every single one of them: great location, such a beautiful terrace with the view on the sea, clean, has all facilities needed for a comfortable stay! Our hosts made us feel very welcomed and shared great tips about Milos.

Doerthe and her husband were the most amazing hosts, presenting me with delicious homemade local cheese pastries with fresh mint, sorting out my rental car, telling me all of the best beaches and other local tips. She was always available if I needed help or advice, always friendly and interesting to talk to, whenever I was having a morning coffee on my private terrace with an incredible view of the island and sea. The studios are very well located, too, just a few minutes' walk from a supermarket but on a secluded hilltop overlooking the main port town, Adamantas. I would love to return to Psilandis Studios and explore Milos some more!

Psilandis is a great place for ur stay in Milos. The rooms are clean and tidy with a spectacular view of the sea and Adamas. Doerthe and her husband are wonderful hosts, giving u the best tips on what to do in the island, helping renting a motorbike and looking forward to make your stay the best possible. Very good location on the island, good view from the room. It was really nice talking with Doerthe. She advised us about good places to visit and very good restaurants !

Our apartment had its own terrace with a stunning view on Adamas bay: watching the sunset from there was priceless. Doerthe, our host, gave us very useful tips on beaches, restaurants and places not to miss during our stay in Milos. She also offered us very often some typical (and tasty) treats she prepared on her own.

Found access to the property was not ideal

Very beautiful view, sparkling clean room and great hospitality by the hosts. Close proximity to both Adamas and Sarakiniko.

The wifi connection was rather slow and there were few problems with the water in the shower (too hot or too cold at times). Also, the location is a bit difficult to reach at night (due to dirt road without lamp posts) if you don't plan to rent a car.

Doerthe Mallis, the owner and manager of Psilandis Studios, is caring and attentive to details. She is always available for information and suggestions: a real vocation for hospitality. The studios are beautifully located in the countryside just above the village of Adamas, with a superb sea view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and nicely furnished, the kitchen is equipped with whatever you may need during your stay. I do recommend this place.

It is the first time that I am rating a property 10/10. This place has it all: impeccable cleanliness, charmingly decorated rooms, sea view and caring hosts who genuinely want you to have a great time. If you want you can get advice on where to go according to your wishes and the weather situation (beach, dinner, sightseeing).
