All perfect. Beautiful location. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended

Valérie, the owner, welcomed us warmly and made us feel very confortable. We arrived after 20:00, and were quite angry, Valérie booked a reservation to a wonderful local restaurant with traditional and scrumptious food from the Basque region. We gave the highest grade because of the fantastic interaction with the home owner, confortable bed and personalised breakfast. A place to pencil in your trip to the Basque Country.

Location was quiet and peaceful. The backyard was lovely even though it was rainy season and we didn't spend much time outside. The property itself is lovely.

We weren't able to get in touch very well with the owner during the stay - we sent emails and whatsapp messages, trying to be able to pay for the room since the owner wanted us to pay in cash (only option). We were trying to pay and finally were able to the day before our last day. When we first arrived, the owner wasn't there and her mother ended up letting us in; luckily we weren't in a rush or anything, but we waited for the owner to get back from the beach and show us to our room. Communication was a bit difficult since the owner spoke little English, but we used translation apps on our phones to connect live. The internet also went out some of the time while we were there; this was unfortunate because we were counting on the wifi to be able to work. The room had cobwebs and spiders in the corners and bathroom - it seemed like it wasn't deep cleaned very well. Overall it was an OK stay. Wouldn't stay again but it wasn't horrible.

Clean comfortable room & bathroom Homemade food

Due to bad weather we had to eat our breakfast in our bedroom as there was no breakfast room. Bread, pastries, homemade cake & jams for breakfast were good but lacked any cheese or meats, fruit or yogurt . Cash only & disturbed us (while I was in the shower) for payment before we were ready to leave.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast was yummy! We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Lovely welcome. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night and did not have the time to check out the pool. The bed is great while the shower was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic as well with homemade jam and yoghurt.

You can hear the traffic from the nearby road if you sleep on the 'wrong' side of the house. So, get a room with pool view. Also the weather was really humid and therefore I didn't get the best sleep but you cannot fault the property for that. That was just bad luck. The lighting is too bright for my personal taste but that is common throughout Southern Europe, so again not a fault with the property.
