Proprietor very welcoming and friendly, nice property and our room had good views down the valley towards Aosta itself, with a decent-sized balcony. Controllable heating which was great and the room was very warm. Lovely en-suite shower room. Plentiful breakfast if you like lots of sweet things (only 1 croissant each). My husband loved the hot chocolate. The room was nicely decorated and presented, with a kettle and tea-making facilities (no coffee).

No t.v. in the room; the floor was very dusty; it was difficult to open the wardrobe doors fully because of the proximity of the bed; no coat hooks at the entrance to the room on which to hang jackets, etc., the only options being either in the wardrobe (small hanging area, unsuitable for bulky, wet wet items), or two hooks on the back of the bathroom door; hot water for the tea was served in an open jug so cooled very quickly. On the second evening, on our return to the room at around 6pm, my husband sat on the bed and it collapsed. Unable to get the proprietor by telephone (left messages) (she knocked on the door just after midnight), by 11pm we had to try to sort it out ourselves, having to remove the mattress and bedding and then try to put the bed frame back together. Apology but no offer of reduction in price for inconvenience.
