The owners were very nice and welcoming when we arrived. Were very informative about the area and how to get about. 15 minutes Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shopping.. Supermarket was about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. I saw Swiggy doing deliveries in the neighborhood if that matters to anyone. Room was clean and spacious, had a balcony and a comfortable seating area. Room was as described. There are washroom facilities at the beach and near the parking for a nominal charge.

Had a pleasant experience during my one week stay at Sunshine homestay. Peaceful neighborhood, within a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. The room was in good condition, clean and exactly as described, equipped with a fridge, AC, sink and small kitchen counter. Hot water was always available! They maintain a tidy yard at all times, someone is always sweeping or cleaning, keeping it beautiful for the guests. Owners are helpful and welcoming, had absolutely no issues. For that price I don't think you can find a better place to stay in Colva.

WiFi was pretty weak, well it's no surprise, the whole town has a bad internet connection. Mosquitoes and ants were a bit of a problem, not a big deal but still had to mention it.

Stella and Francis were friendly and very helpful hosts. The property was well located between Colva Town and beach and the best supermarket in Colva. Very clean rooms and lovely view

This place is mosquito ridden. Even on bright sunny days there is no direct sunlight

Unlike the name that suggests' there is no sunshine due to heavy foliage & no 'park' We already had 2 cancellations prior (guess it's a South Goa hotels thing). We were a bit nervous, so we paid upfront for our 10days stay to secure this booking On entering the room we noticed one wall was damp. There is a leakage problem. On pulling out the furniture we found mold all over. This is a serious health & safety issue. It seems the room was not opened for few weeks. Looking back, we shudder to imagine how much mold did get into the bedding and pillows. They donot have inhouse laundry and couldn't direct us to a laundry service inspite of repeatedly asking. Finally we gave up and brought a bucket and laundry brush to do our clothes by hand. There is no dedicated place for drying clothes either. Instead of addressing the pain points of paying customers the hostess (owner) 'told us off' for spoiling the aesthetics of her property. On requesting for an induction cooker to heat milk, we were offered the same at ₹500/ day rental. That's ₹5000 for 10 days. A brand new one in Panjim sold for ₹2200 at that time. Wifi password was not provided till day 4 inspite of repeatedly asking. And when we were finally able to connect the strength and speed were poor. We contacted Booking.com and they assured us full refund on remaining days that we had paid. This booking was in October 2022, now it's January 2023 we haven't received our money yet. To conclude, this has been a shocking experience for us and an eye opener with workings of both Booking.com & unscrupulous operators like the hosts of this property who are in this just for the money. Unfortunately such people give Goa and India a bad name. Did I mention the mosquito infested front porch?

There are many places nearby to have food and drinks.

Bathroom can be more cleaned and Wifi service should be there. Lifts were under maintenance some times.

A peace love family like ours from Uttarakhand hills had a wonderful time at this stay location. Neat and clear. Green and serene environment. Close to beach and shopping centres. Owners Francis and Stella were had given excellent hospitality and support. Inside and outside ambiance is par excellence. A local vehicle coordinated by Stella through third party made our life easy.

At least service of Tea on payment basis.
