Comfortable bed, excellent kitchen facilities.

Clean and tidy well equipped with little extras from milk to bread eggs beer and wine very homely it is 5 minutes drive from holmfirth.CoOp and pub within a 5 minute walk very friendly will definitely be returning in the very near future.

We managed to book the apartment on the day we arrived as we were attending a gig at The Picturedrome and had not been able to get any accommodation beforehand. We were very pleased to have been able to find somewhere reasonably priced to stay and were so happy with the apartment. We only stayed one night, but arrived late afternoon and were able to cook ourselves a meal using the well equipped kitchen, before we went out. The apartment has anything anyone could need for a short or long stay and there were lovely touches such as a Christmas tree up and fairy lights. Some food items were provided such as oils and complimentary beer, wine, milk and bread, which was very kind. The bedroom is small but the bed was very comfortable and extremely quiet with no outside noises at all. We were able to park on the drive right outside the apartment. The bathroom was good and shower was great. Although the apartment is a bit of a walk from the centre of Holmfirth, we did not mind this and it was downhill all the way there and then uphill after a few beers on the way back, so it seemed quicker! There were loads of taxis in the centre of Holmfirth and so it wouldn't be a problem if people did not want to walk. We were extremely happy with our stay and although we did not meet our hosts, they sent very good information about check in and we knew we could contact them if we needed to.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I liked everything about this place and will come again. A funny thing, I didn't realise there was Alexa in the apartment until reading other people's reviews. That made me laugh. The shower was amazing.

The extra touches provided by the owners were lovely and much appreciated. Winwood is a comfortable and well equipped apartment, perfect for a great stay in Holmfirth

Nothing not to like. Location is out of town but walking in is easy, 20 minutes all downhill. Taxi back cost between 3&5 pounds. Location also has local pub and is very peaceful for sleeping

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location.

I book about 6 months ago and it was advertised with a tree house type patio, to be honest that's why I booked it, but when we got there the tree top bit was out of use. It have been removed from booking.com, but was there when we booked.

The apartment was perfect. The hosts had left lots of lovely touches such as milk, eggs & bread for us. All very clean & had everything we needed. The shower was amazing.

Couldn’t fault the accommodation.

There were snacks for us in the fridge and essentials such as eggs, milk, bread, and butter. We liked the spacious room and comfy sofas, everything was easy to access around the house, and our Host was thoughtful and installed the gate for our little one. The place outside the house was lovely too, well hidden to soak the nature and peace.

We visited in very hot weather, so the apartment was very hot. The house lacked a fan to help with the heat.

I thought when booking that there was an outside space. The steps leading to what I think was the area in the pictures were overgrown and there was not a place we could be outside. That would have made a big difference given the weather. That is the reason for the negative parts of my review although I reiterate the apartment itself was great

The Location was really nice.

We did not like eating at the breakfast bar as the chairs did not fit near the bar due to the carpet which made the chairs wobble. A bistro table and chairs positioned near the window would be nice as it would be lovely to take in the amazing view. There was open food in the cupboard which made it seem that somebody was living there. The light switch in the bathroom room was disgusting it looked like dog poo. I could not bring myself to touch it so I just used the cord. The food and wine left for us was a nice thought and very welcome Thank you

really amazing facilities e.g cutlery, mood lights, plants on windsills, toiletries and dressing gowns, it was really lovely!

some cutlery was dirty, and could do with a new frying but all amazing apart from that!!

Very comfortable apartment adjoining owners home. Well equipped for a short stay. Steep stairs on entry to living quarters. Parking off-road but must reverse out into road. Owner very helpful.

No complaints. Would suggest some plastic containers for food in the fridge.
