This was our 2nd time coming here and we love it both times. My friends and kids love it there and we enjoy ourselves. Host was very responsive also

We enjoyed our stay here, the house is comfortable and Beautiful, the view in n front the lake was a plus ❤️.

This house was perfect for our group of 15 adults and children. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms, nice kitchen, calm views and close to the ocean. Owner was fast to respond to all our communications. Just remember to ask about towel service and bring your own soaps, toilet paper, and trash bags.

Enjoyed our stay ,it was guiet and there were lots of things to do and very restful,if that’s what your after. We definitely want to stay again.

This was the second year we stayed at this property. With the weather warmer this time, we were able to take full advantage of the outside deck and firepit. Everything needed to house 11 senior golfers. Communication with Carla was excellent. We're ready to go back next year.

This was a great house. It was a lovely place to stay for the weekend. It is close to everything and being on the water was a big plus!

Yearly trip for 8 golfers for many years so we have stayed in a number of different houses. By far, Hooked on Herring is the best so we keep coming back. Everyone has their own bed and the place is close to some quality courses. Decatur Diner is our go to breakfast place. Thank you Carla for renting your home to us!

Great place by the water!

This accommodation fulfilled all of our needs, supporting our family of me , my wife, our three daughters and their 3 families. My wife and I could go off every evening to the guest house and enjoy the quiet end to great days. The children played outside, spent time fishing, my daughters floated on the river, and the putting green tested our skills. Overall this house met our expectations and then some.

A little piece of paradise, crabbing was great! Kayaking around saw bald eagles, close to everything yet secluded. A+++

This house was amazing! It accommodated all 12 guys in our golf trip with ease. The house was clean and inviting. The location is unmatched for course in West OC. We will definitely book again next year!

Our group of friends stayed at this amazing house and it was definitely the best house we’ve been to. Large with many places to sit, well stocked kitchen, and an amazing view of the water. Very clean. Five minutes away from the beach and restaurants and shopping. Just amazing! Owner is very responsive to any questions or needs.

Pictures dont do this place justice, it was gorgeous and we enjoyed our stay! The kids had lots of things to keep them busy, loved the dock for fishing and the putting green area. 4 star rating because you have to bring your own towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, paper towels, and trashbags. Not everyone is able to travel with towels etc. Very poor way to run a rental if you're charging a cleaning fee.

Perfect weekend at well maintained, immaculate property with plenty of hang out space. 15 min to Assateague beaches. Easy communication with host. We hope to return

A group of 4 families with little kids ranging from 2-10 stayed here Memorial Day weekend and it was so wonderful. Waking up to and eating while staring into the water was amazing. The house is super spacious and clean, and there is so much to occupy your time that you don’t even feel the need to leave. But we took advantage of outlet shopping, Assateague Island and the OC boardwalk/beach and loved that all of it was 5-12 min driving distance. The kids had a blast crabbing and running around outside. We took advantage of the canoe and grill and fire pit. It was truly a magical time. I stayed here once before 8 years ago before kids and the experience was just as good, if not better than the last time. Everything feels new and clean. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great house! 7 guys 3 from Iceland everybody loved tge place. Outstanding!

Our group of about 15 guys come here once per year and it has always been a great time. The main floor is able to get us all together comfortably and we probably split our time evenly there and outside by the fire pit. Golf, fishing and tge casino are all close by. The owner is very responsive and always makes it easy for us. Would recommend for big groups.

This was exactly what we needed. It was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. There’s lots to do outside with the bay literally in the back yard. They have 2 Canoes and 1 kayak. Lots of crabs and eels (couldn’t catch any fish though). Lots of crab trap and some life jackets. For others who go there, a few things to keep in mind. There is only 1 roll of tp in each bathroom. If you’re a large group staying for a few days you’ll need to bring extra- as well as paper towels. Bathrooms don’t have any hand soap either. Grocery store (food lion) and the beach are barely 5 minutes away. This place was incredible with lots of space. will definitely come back!

We were in town to celebrate my Grandmothers 100th birthday. The day after the party our cousins came over to play cards a grill out. The home was inviting with lots of room for us to spread out and visit.

This property has it all! Gorgeous views, comfortable amenities, privacy, and super close to everything we wanted to do in OC for the weekend. My group was three families with children who ranged from 4-20 and we all enjoyed our stay.

Except for the water pressure issue the overall experience was excellent.

Several Pastoral Couples gathered for a retreat in December at this beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed to character and beauty of the home and location. There was easy access to groceries, highways, historical sites. We were very comfortable. You will love your stay. We had a small lighting challenge that was immediately handled. We even took advantage of the hottub :-) It is in a residential neighborhood but you feel great peace there. We want to come back.

Very clean. Great location. Plenty of room for our group of 11 adults to interact and/or be alone. Nice kitchen and eating space. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed the putting green and the guest house. Only complaint, we never found the air hockey table listed on the website.

My family has rented this property several times and find it to be well equipped and very comfortable.

We had a managers retreat here and the house was perfect for us. We cooked a team dinner and then sat around the fire pit making s’mores. The bedrooms worked out perfectly with the group of 10 that we had.

This property was awesome. Close enough to everything yet tucked away as a little slice of heaven. Very well stocked kitchen, lots of fun extras along the way- kayak, canoes, putting green, fire pit, good amount of chairs for everyone, etc. Property manager was always responsive to messages as well.
