Shower drain was not working well. Twin bed was smaller than normal twin size. Using door key in 2023? No door card?

The room was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good, staff were friendly and helpful.

It really was a wonderful stay

Breakfast was good, the room was clean en sufficient. We could check inn later in the day.

It took al while untill we had warm water in the shower. And there was noise outside because the window was open all nght. En we heared a buzzing sound but we could not find out what it was.

The brownies

Place looks old, lots of cracks in the walls. The wallpaper comes off in the corners. The breakfast is just from 8:30 to 10:00 in the weekends. We received no small toaleteries. We had liquid soap and shower gel full size on the wall. The room is not soundproof. At least not the windows. The is no mosquito net. I could not turn off completely the radiator. It was so hot we could not sleep so we opened the windows but there was too much street noise. Booking said 4 stars but the hotel has only 3. The tv has jiggling noise, the image is not clear. The carpet inside the room had lots of spots. We received no slippers. There were no indications of where the parking is. The coffee is one of the lowest in quality. If you want late, the milk is cold, no frother. The internet speed was not optimal for working. (developer stuff). I had to use hotspot. The lights from the round mirror in the bathroom ware broken. The shower door could not be properly closed and the shower head could be placed in just one position so all the water would leak outside the shower. No trash bin in the room, no mini bar, no fridge, no balcony, just a big window that could be opened like a balcony but with nowhere to step outside. No water (a bottle would be nice), no tea inside the room, not even a welcome message on a paper.

The entire hotel was like in renovation, 8:30 in the morning started to be noisy. Small basic breakfast. No elevator, even if in the description they wrote that they have. I wouldn’t stay again; doesn’t worth for the money.

My review is from Meteor hotel, i got a call a day before that Topaz has some heating difficulty so we got moved to there. When we arrived, noone was at the reception, the bell was loud but noone came, the number on display to call is dead. I called Topaz to inform Meteor that we are there. After almost an hour long wait (there was some plumming problem with our room) we paid the dogs and got our room (mind you i bet thats the sittiest room because its nowhere in the pictures of Meteor's booking site, i aggreed the moving based on that) Room was paid to Topaz in november. The morning i got attacked mid breakfast that we dont payed the room. I show them proof of my bank account and Booking and we aggreed that THEY need to authorize the payment between Booking and themselfs. After we left I got multiple phone calls since than that i dont payed and pls pay. They still refuse to acknowledge it saying things like my bank card faulty which is not or my card on booking is only a security card (what?😂) showed them proof again of my bank account but nothing so far, the even sent Booking staff after me 😂 The level of incompetency here is absurd. AVOID at all times both Topaz and Meteor!!! And any other hotel they own for that matter!

There was some emergency issue at the Hotel Topaz so we have been rebooked at Hotel Meteor. Hotel Meteor location is so good. Breakfast is served between 8-10 AM however we have to leave around 7 AM we were able to have breakfast which was so nice and tasty - thanks for that!

Parking situation - no own parking spots of the Hotel and due to the central location there is so hard to find a praking space (which is not free).

The room was very big and as outside it was a very cold day we were so happy that the room was so warm! The furniture was old, but we enjoyed actually the vintage look! The bed is big and confortable, the tv was huge and the there wede 2 sofa chairs which we loved!

The floor carpet from the corridor needs to be changed. The breakfast room was very cold and there was no variety, but it was decent!

The chef from the hotel's restaurant wasn't available and we couldn't eat there not even once, or have any breakfast. Pretty dissapointing giving the fact that we heard about the restaurant's reviews and it was a reason for our booking. And also one of the receptionists, the girl, poor communication skills, having hard times understanding what we needed, what we were asking, missinform us about the posibility of dining in the restaurant.
