This is truly a special property. We've been to this area several times and stayed in some nice homes but none compare to this unit. First off the location cant be beat. Right on the beach. If you surf its right in front and a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Chris was great and made check in a breeze. It was just my wife and I however there's plenty of space for two couples or family members. We plan on going back with my mother in law and access will be a breeze for her. Also a perfect place if you want a day to lay low and watch tv or lounge by the pool. We're planning on our next trip already and cant wait to go back!

Curt was a fantastic host and responded to all of our needs quickly and efficiently. The house is well designed, allowing 2 couples and toddlers to roam about with significant space. This place literally had everything in terms of appliances, utensils and everything to go to the beach with. Very generous to allow guests to use surfboards freely. The rooftop is excellent although some of the furniture is experiencing some sun damage and could use a refresh.

This house is a dream come true. The attention to detail in both the amenities and assets for the house is matched by the decor and aesthetic. We love this little neighborhood location in Emiliano Zapata village. Walked to the beach daily, with 5 kids ages 3-8 and also enjoyed churros and tacos throughout this less touristy neighborhood. Easy walk to the main “strip” as well. The recommendations from Curt were great as was his response time. Local staff was lovely. We hope to visit again soon!

First time to Punta de Mita and we couldn’t have had a better time. The house was just as nice as the photos looked online and was well stocked with all the amenities we could want. Curt and Vicky have furnished this house so beautifully and we all felt so at home and relaxed. Enjoyed the quiet town vibes and we ventured out to try many of the local restaurants and establishments from the higher end restaurants along the waterfront to the smaller mom and pop restaurants like Theresa’s Tacos and Casa Del Pintor. The rooftop terrace was very relaxing with spectacular views. We enjoyed trying out the surfboards and SUP boards despite the waves being small during our visit. The beach going south was a beautiful walk and the sand was fine and pristine. Candi the housekeeper was most gracious and made sure the house was tidy and clean every day and the other staff kept the pool Clean and the plants watered during our stay. Muchos Gracias! We would love to come back again and stay here.

The most beautiful home with amazing decor and details. The house was stocked with everything you could need and very clean. Communication with owner and property managers was very easy. Our favorite part was swimming in the pool and doing yoga on the roof. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants. Highly recommend!!

We were blown away by the accommodations and location. The view from the massive deck was 2nd to none. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch for the good sets to roll in and be in the water in under a minute was amazing. When the beach gets too hot, you have access to the infinity pool just steps away. The accommodations were spacious and clean and made our stay hands above any resort hotel room. Having a large full-size kitchen allowed us to purchase food and do some meals in the unit. And when you want to go out for a meal, it is only a quick 5 minute walk down the beach to restaurant row. We had an incredible stay and can't imagine staying anywhere else if we return. Chris was an amazing host and was quick to reply to any of our questions. I highly recommend this property.

We are a group of 4 who do an annual trip to a sunny destination - we all agree that Casa Cristal del Mar is the best house we have stayed in. The house is exactly what you see in the pictures. LOTS of room, very clean, VERY comfortable beds, great linens, and the rooftop terrace was fabulous. Coffee there in the mornings, watching the whales in the distance, listening to the sounds of the village. Drinks up there in the evening, watching the sky turn at sunset. Seating was comfortable - full sun or full shade options! The kitchen had everything we needed - top of the line appliances and a fully functioning coffee grinder! Another selling feature of the house was that each room had it's own on suite bathroom. The location of the house is perfect. Around one corner is the beer store, Manny's Adventures, a great lunch/dinner restaurant, and the beach. At the other corner, the amazing Teresa's Taco's (& FLAN!!) and all the local shops. Coffee/breakfast place with a view, the butcher & a bakery. It is about a 10 minute walk to the 'restaurant area' - great variety of places, all described in the house book. One recommendation we would make is don't bother bringing a car - it really isn't necessary. And if you do - make sure you arrive in daylight!! The streets are tiny and not well marked, and have many potholes and bumps!! Candi, the cleaner & Roman the manager are fabulous. Curt is THE BEST host - quick to respond with great suggestions. We certainly would love to return.

We traveled with my brother, his wife and my college room mate. The property was clean and well maintained. The roof top terrace was excellent. We relaxed up there several afternoons. We even enjoyed some whale watching from the vantage point. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. We enjoyed eating at the little restaurants that the local families like Norma's and Theresa's as well as shopping in the small grocery stores with the locals. We all talked about bringing children and grandchildren back for the same experience. We did wake up one morning with a water leak in the garage. I texted the house manager Ramon. By the time we came back from our activity in the afternoon, the problem was resolved.

A beautifully designed and comfortable house, in walking distance of the beach and a fine collection of restaurants. Property manager and other staff readily available and very helpful.

First of all the house is very nice. However my entire family gotten bitten up. Lots of bugs and mosquitos. The housekeepers and house manager were very nice. However be wary of the cook. We hired him to cook breakfast for three days and paid for all our groceries. However he stole all our food. The owner of the house, Curt tried to make light of it and said he didn’t take anything but oatmeal and bagels but that is not true. He took home with him just about everything we bought. We wanted out groceries for our next place in Sayulita. So just be very careful if you hire them. I am sure Curt will defend them. But honestly I wouldn’t trust them.

Beachfront Condo, 4th floor, watch the surfers. Every amenity in the condo was first class. Great pool and hot tub. Great Kitchen. Chris was a great host. Any request we made he jumped on and handled immediately. Nothing but 5 stars for this place. Will definitely be back here.

Loved the unit…property and communication . Home away from home - elevated Punta Mita experience

We’ve stayed at many properties in Mexico, and this was our favorite. The house was perfect for our group—two families with four adults and two ten-year-old girls. The owners were very responsive and friendly, and gave helpful info on things to do and see. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and ensuite bathrooms that are generously sized and were very comfortable for the adults in our group, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable—the best sleep we’ve had in ages. The third bedroom has four bunks, and another ensuite bathroom, so it was perfect for our kids. The small pool was also great for the kids (we were there over New Years, so the adults didn’t want to be in the pool, as it’s in the shade this time of year — I expect the sun hits the pool when it’s higher in the sky). The main kitchen was very well stocked and smartly organized, and so was the roof-top kitchen and grill. The roof-top patio has ocean views and was perfect for outdoor dining, with a large table under a palapa, and for post-dinner cocktails in the separate lounge area. The neighborhood was lovely. The house sits in a nice area of Punta Mita, on the outside edge of the main tourist area where the real town starts. In one direction it’s a 5-minute walk to the main fancy dining area of Punta Mita, and in the other direction are local mercados, taco stands, carnicerias, etc. Norma’s taco stand was our favorite (the birrias tacos and adobobada were incredible). The locals were very friendly, and there was an amazing feeling of community, with families out on the streets and kids playing until late in the evening. We were there over New Years, and people were having family gatherings all over town. The house was well stocked for beach days, with beach chairs, a cooler, a cart, beach toys, etc., and it’s just steps to the nearest beach. For our beach days, we drove 45-minutes up the road to San Pancho, which has a bunch of restaurants that have tables set up on the beach and chill vibes. We had a great stay at this property. 10/10, no notes.

Cristal de Mar is the perfect home for a Punta de Mita vacation! The house is absolutely gorgeous, clean and spacious and had everything that our family of 4 needed (kids 16 & 18). My 16 year daughter was obsessed with the pink stairs and the cute decor (very Instagram worthy). My 18 year old son appreciated the walkability to the surf break -as well as the ability to get a boat ride to surf breaks a bit further out…and the boards available in the garage we’re definitely a plus. My husband and I spent a lot of time on the rooftop relaxing. Nearby restaurant row had lots of great food options ; mostly Mexican and seafood. For a lighter breakfast (açaí bowl: avocado toast) or that turkey sandwich I was definitely craving after day 3, I recommend the coffee shop on the row or Boca Cafe up the hill from the row. We also enjoyed 2 dinners on the rooftop prepared by Paty. Overall great experience!!

The place is just incredible. Beautifully appointed home with the perfect view. It is such a bonus to have surf and sand items shared with guests to make the most of the beach access. From the hosts to the local contacts, everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. We'd love to come back someday!

What a place!!! From top to bottom we couldn’t have been happier. The kitchen, bedrooms, pool and finally the absolutely amazing roof top patio. Not to mention surfboards, boogie boards, bikes, beach wagons, etc for our use. The Modelorama next door for all our cold drinks, tacos a few minutes walk and the beach also a very short walk. Roman was there waiting (we were very late getting there) when we arrived with a smile on his face. He walked us through the property and amenities close by. Worst thing about the casa and Corral deal Risco was leaving. We will be back!! Thanks Curt for everything!!

We had such an amazing stay in Punta De Mita The house was even better than the pictures. The people are so friendly and there are so many great places to visit closel by. The owners and staff were amazing and had great suggestions for places to visit. So looking forward to visiting again

Casa Cristal Del Mar is great. We had four adults an 11 year old boy and a 14 year old girl. We all had a great time. Rooftop deck is a superb place to hang, especially for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The pool is small, but clean and shady. We spent a ton of time in the pool. Kitchen has everything you could need. The house has all the great beach necessities… surfboards, boogie boards, cooler, umbrellas, bikes and snorkeling gear. Short walk to a nice beach. Great surfing if you catch a swell. Safe for kids to boogie board. Lots of restaurants, shops, and little grocery stores within walking distance. The liquor store is right next door. Manny lives across the street and has a couple boats for fishing and tours. His son Brian is a great surf guide and instructor. All in all, this place is a 10 out of 10. Private and well appointed, but close to the slow paced action of Punta Mita.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was bigger than the pictures suggest. We loved the pool and the short walk to the beach

The Pros: The house was amazing, large, comfortable beds, loved the decor that was perfect for the location. We loved all of the beautiful plants and flowers at the entrance, near the pool and on the top terrace. We absolutely loved the house! The water filters made life easy for us. No need to buy battles water. I loved having a washer and dryer. The AC worked great all over the house. We turned it off when we left and when we got back we turned them all on and the home quickly cooled off. I never felt uncomfortable at the house. Again, we absolutely loved the house. There are great restaurants nearby - from expensive upscale (we loved Mina) to the yummiest Mexican street food at Teresa’s, which is a few steps from the house. We loved Teresa’s so much that we ate there every single day! I would go back just to eat at Teresa’s! The burritos, tacos and tostadas we amazing! We loved the steak the most. The pool is so fun and beautiful! We really appreciated the ability to use the surf boards and boogies boards, SUP boards and kayak! Thank you Curt! Curt is so responsive and kind. One of the best property managers I have dealt with! Going to the Marietta Islands with Manny’s Tours was so incredible. We got the best guide that took us on a little hike on one of the islands through holes in the rocks. Incredible experience! We also snorkeled with him but we got bit by a lot of jellyfish and these were very painful! The jellyfish in the water by the islands are so much more painful than the ones in the beach by the house. I think the jellyfish might be around just during this time year, but I am not sure. We had to stop snorkeling after a few minutes. We also went to a zip line through a company that Roman (the house manager) recommended. That is something I would definitely do again. We all loved every minute of it! Beach Info: The beach that is walking distance (kind of a long walk carrying boards etc.) is full of jelly fish. The water literally stings your skin the entire time you are in the water. We were all stung a few times. We were told the waves were good for surfing at he beach by the house but while we were there, we had bad luck. The waves were teeny tiny and they broke right on the sand, so surfing was not

This is the best house in Punta Mita, plenty of space for our family of 7. Beautifully decorated home with everything you need. Kitchen fully stocked. Very close walking distance to the beach and town. Always felt very safe. Rooftop patio is also amazing. The pool is also great for kids and adults. Came just to relax and this house was perfect. We spent some time at the beach but my wife preferred enjoying the beauty and comfort of the house. Always great communication with owner and property manager and Candy kept house clean daily. This house has all great reviews and they are all accurate. Don’t waste your time looking for other houses. I’ve done the research and this is the perfect home. Can’t wait to come back.
