The hotel has a very good beach and the pool area along with the "inner garden" is great. The breakfast is good as well, however there tend to be queues past 9, due to the covid rules (you cannot take food from buffet yourself, you need to ask a member of staff to put things on your plate); other than that it was good. Pastry was amazing! The lunch & dinner menu could have had more options, but they were very good. The hotel is a very quiet place mostly with either elderly couples or families or just anyone to chill out (we were there as a couple of 20 year olds). The location is also great and there are restaurants in a walking distance!

The room was not sound proof at all and as a result, you could hear pretty much everything. The bedsheets were not ideal, something that could be improved in such hotel. The room was not upgraded or any gifts were received, despite the fact that I stayed there for my birthday. Other than that, all was good.

This hotel was exceptional in virtually every way. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from Reception to the restaurant, bar and parking assistance, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail quite excellent. There was a wide choice for breakfast each morning, from the usual cold cuts and cheeses, to scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage (good sausage not the often encountered "hot dog" you often get in mainland Europe), fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, delicious pastries and tarts. The hotel has free bikes that you can borrow, with helmets and locks, which was a nice touch. There is parking and although it can be busy, the attendant will find you a space either at the rear of the hotel or in the overflow car park at the front. There is a beautiful terrace for taking breakfast and lunch, as well as comfortable seating on the lawn overlooking the beach. The hotel also has its own private beach immediately to the side of the hotel with sunbeds and parasols, free to use for hotel guests but they do charge €3.50 per beach towel per day. There are two pools, one of which is heated to 36C throughout the year. There is an excellent bar with a wide variety of spirits, such as, over 130 whiskies! This was quite simply one of the very best 4 Star hotels we have ever stayed in, across 72 countries.

Nothing in particular, it suited us perfectly but for some people, the 15 minute or so walk into the centre of Diano Marina may be an issue, as with the exception of a mediocre pizza restaurant, there are no other restaurants close by and the hotel restaurant has a limited menu of 3 choices each night.

Nice beach, excellent breakfast selection and friendly, helpful staff. Room was very clean and appeared well looked after.

The hotel is not really in Diano Marina, so just be prepared that you need to walk 15-20mins to get into the town centre and access the restaurants/shops.

Overexpensive additional costs : 30€ for a baby cot per night (when it is normally free) they charge 50% of the bill for the room service when it is usually 10€ in 5* hotels We had some unpleasant comments on our 2 years daughter walking in the restaurant from the staff. Clearly families are not their target clients.

The hotel has fantastic location just on the beach. It has beautiful view, small but cozy beach with sun beds without additional charges (it’s included in the room rate). There is also big swimming pool and a smaller pool with heated water, ideal depth for children. The olive trees garden with sun beds was just amazing . The massage service in the garden was excellent, we used it twice. The center of the city is walking distance and have great choice of restaurants and kids entertainment. Great place for family stay on the see side. Looking forward to be back next summer.

It is a pity that pool cafe was closed during our stay. It would be much more comfortable to order drinks and food. Going to main restaurant every time was inconvenient.

Nice garden around the pool. Very kind staff in hotel. Good bar and restaurant, dinner was exceptional. Very good wifi connection in hotel and garden.
