Very nice hotel, doggie friendly, fantastic restaurant and breakfast - ideal for transit with a family. Quiet,if you consider it is in front of the motorway.

Light in the bathroom did not work and the door to the bathroom were tricky (heavy sliding door). There is no fridge in the room and old style radiator, rather than automatic temperature set up.

Very friendly and helpful staff, in any department. Especially Rosita at the Reception office as I had an infected intestinal on arrival and helped me excellent. Food is great. Rest of staff nice people. Will come again

That’s an easy one ….Nothing

Beware , it’s sited in a truck stop . Between the extremely loud music and the bedbugs I got no sleep which kind of defeats the actual purpose of a hotel by a motorway. The safe didn’t work , the extraction didn’t work and the toilet flush fell in the toilet .

The room was great, large shower cubical and a deep bath, large comfortable bed and balcony.

The complimentary drink making was limited to coffee, no tea and the cups are too small to make tea in. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy.

this is a motorway hotel but it is fantastic - large, clean, very very pet friendly. the lower ground floor rooms have French patio door to take dog out and parking opposite those rooms. big buffet breakfast, lovely on site restaurant

. one complaint was nothing ( at all) on dinner menu for Vegans and waiter was not helpful so My partner ate but I could not. and almost nothing at breakfast.. apart from beans.

The eclectic chargers didn’t work the tesla charger didn’t pass up the charger .. the bathroom door was old and would shut correctly old hotel not the same standards as i n Holland.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

There were problems with hot water. We had to turn it on, wait for 15 minutes and only then slightly warm water would be supplied. I paid 170 euro per night and think this is unacceptable for this price range. I informed the staff about it, they were friendly, but havent offered any solutions or discounts.

1) Shower did not work completely. We needed to wash in a bathtub and you can imagine how uncomfortable it was. We checked in late in the evening so it was not possible to ask someone to repair it. 2) There was no air conditioning available in the room at all. .So we opened the window to get some fresh air, as it was really hot, but then a strong stinky smell like from a toilet came into the room. We had to close the windows as well. As a result we almost could not sleep. 3) Normally 4 star hotels always provide anti-mosquito plugs. However there was nothing like that in the room and the amount of mosquitos was terrible. 4) The room in general was very dirty and old which did not give a feeling of a proper Van der Valk chain as we are used to.
