The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The selection of food and coffee was great and the service and all the food was the best. The welcome drink we got when we arrived was super nice! The rooms are also clean and nice and the view from the balcony was an extra bonus.

For older people it would be better if there was an elevator, but everything else was perfect.

my favourite part was my little balcony. I spent time sitting there and watching the lake. it was beautiful.

The staff is very polite and helpful, truly distinctive atmosphere and interior design, a perfect location close to the lake, a fresh breakfast on a cozy terrace, and a great view over the lake from the room balcony!

As the building itself is made of wood, you should not expect perfect protection against sound and noise, but this is normal for this type of hotels

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this charming old-style hotel. Our room with a beautiful lake and mountain view was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The lobby, dinning rooms and corridors were wonderfully decorated - you want to spend time looking at paintings, elegant furnitures and decors of the past. The breakfast was delicious. Mr Kaiser - a true gentleman - and his children, who own and run this hotel since generations, made us feel at home and even gave us a parting gift - a book written by his mother. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Such an amazing place to stay, amazing history to this lodging. Very happy and grateful I found this place to stay.
