We had a wonderful family vacation. The condo was in a great location. We loved the condo but it does need some updates. Our suggestions to the owners are: Need blackout curtains in the two front bedrooms instead of the blinds since some of the blinds were broken at the bottom and you can see inside the room from outside. Need a new sofa/loveseat as they are worn out and sit to low to the ground especially for the elders. Also need taller toilets to make it easier to get off. The vanity in the master bathroom needs to be repaired because the bottom is about to fall out. The view from the balcony was beautiful Over all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The 1109 condo that we have used the last few years fits our needs perfectly. Clean and. comfortable. It is decorated very nicely but doesn't make you feel uncomfortably when housing little people. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed and Beach Cottages several times before in a number of units in Beach Cottages and this is the first unit that really is disappointing - a 2-star accommodation at a 5-star price. The unit is well-placed, beautiful view, great for sunbathing. The finishes in the unit are original to the building and sadly in need of updating (tiles, cracking and chipped, doors don't close) and a thorough cleaning (more than the turnaround cleaning in needed e.g. the balcony floor needs to be power washed)) The Master bath has been updated but please replace the rusting soap tower in the shower. The master bedroom needs a new mattress. The bathtub in the second bath is rusting around the drain. We don't expect upscale kitchen & dinner equipment, but the meal equipment is mismatched (e.g. 4 different patterns of flea market silverware), not enough small plates (especially if you rent to 8 people). We have stayed in efficiency motels that are better equipped. Furniture - relatively new sofa and loveseat - dining room chairs & footstool recovered by owner (cheap and not well done). There is a compact stereo that fails to pick up any station without static. Finally my wife washed a beige cover and we found out it was really pink. This owner is bringing down the quality of all the other units in BC by their neglect.

The unit was exactly as described, beautiful view of the waterfront. We couldn't tell the bird sanctuary was right next door. We were able to see the nesting black skimmer birds. The pool is a great way to relax after coming in from the beach. The outside grills were ok, could use some updates to them.

The carpets could be shampooed they have a little sticky feeling to them. Other than that it is a great place!
