My husband, 11 month old and 2 dogs have just returned from a 4 night getaway at Bush by the Sea. Photos don’t do this house justice. It was roomy, extremely clean and nicely decorated. The location means it is quiet with lots of bird life, but still only a 15 minute stroll to local cafes and the river/beach. Greg was a fantastic host - excellent communicator and very accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

This house was lovely. It was at the end of a court next to a small park so there were lots of trees and a couch on the deck to enjoy them. There were also lots of handy things for people who cook including a sharp knife, lots of tea towels and plenty of cooking utensils etc. The couches inside were comfy with plenty of room for 4 (or more) people to lounge. I would definitely recommend this house.

Loved the house but particularly loved the outside space and settling.

Well appointed humble beach house. Clean with new bathroom. Wonderfully communicative owner. Super quiet location. Fully fenced, best fencing I’ve seen: super safe for dogs yet allows full view of the trees. Lovely spacious backyard with lots of different spots to sit and relax. Bushy end of court location. Really felt at peace. Would stay here if coming to Anglesea again. Thanks so much Greg.

I really don't have anything negative to say about this place or the entire experience. It's a large and comfortable home in a great location, with a great yard for the humans and dogs. The outdoor area was a great place to eat meals and hang out, I kinda want to buy a couch like the one out there! Checking in and out was easy and I appreciated the carport to keep the car cool on the hot days. We did need to drive to the beach but it wasn't too far and you can walk if you're up for it (my mum is 87 so she wasn't). The bathroom is pretty luxurious! One night was pretty cold so we appreciated the heated floor in the morning. Maybe watch out for the ants in the backyard, I got bit by one and it bit hard! But it's a minor thing and wouldn't stop me renting out the house again. I just didn't stand on the anthill again. The area is quiet and surrounded by trees. At one point we looked up and a couple of kangaroos were looking in the front window to see what we were up to. So they are pretty nosy, but the humans who walked past weren't. Had a great short stay at Bush by the Sea, Greg was an impeccable host who maintained constant communication. The place was as advertised, very clean throughout, great location in Anglesea walkable to all the local amenities. The only thing that could’ve been better was the weather but being able to hunker down at Bush by the Sea made it still enjoyable. Thank you Greg for all your hospitality we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay! We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The beautiful bush and the sounds of the birds! Only a short walk to town, the property was set up for a wonderful stay. Books, board games, blankets, fireplace and everything you’d need in the kitchen! We will be back! An early check in and option for a late checkout were an extra added bonus! We had such a good time staying in ‘Bush by the Sea’! There are a few reserves very close by to walk through, and the house is only a few minutes away from the beach. The house was well stocked with necessities and anything extra we needed. Would 100% recommend this house to anyone staying in Anglesea
