We love Spanish Wells! This was our 3rd time to the island. The home was perfectly located near beach, food and morning coffee ;) We enjoyed our stay very much! I would highly recommend staying here.

My family had a wonderful 4 day stay at Cocoplum. We had some drama with Silver Airways and my husband's passport and needed to change our trip dates 1 week before - we were lucky the home was not rented then and Laura was very gracious to allow us to make the changes. Its perfectly located in Spanish Wells and a very comfortable home, exactly as pictured and described. We rented a car for 1 day to explore Eleuthera and did a boat trip with Uncle Rob's another...he lives right down the street!

We absolutely loved our month in Spanish Wells. Cocoplum is as advertised…and better. Perfect location. The most beautiful and thoughtful landscaping. Very comfortable. Cannot wait to return…and we will return!

Loved the house. Very comfortable and welcoming. Kitchen is well stocked with all cooking needs. Location being in town (not that you have to go far if out of town) was great. Very relaxing with all the chickens and roosters roaming freely and fruit trees in the yard.

My husband, daughter (23) and son (19) stayed at Cocoplum and it was the PERFECT vacation home! The owner was was helpful and quick to communicate and the caretakers on the island, Jerrod and Carolyn were amazing. Carolyn met us at the dock, took us to the home and showed us around the home. Jerrod kept us stocked with drinking water. We never needed them, because the house is so well stocked but I feel if we did need anything, they would be quick to respond. The house is beautiful and modern while still feeling like a classic island home. There were only four of us, but I feel like this house had plenty of room and would be comfortable with even more people. This home is close to everything, but still private with an amazing, tropical yard. We rented a golf cart but also used the 2 bikes that came with the house. They were so fun. Spanish Wells is an amazing island with beautiful beaches, friendly people and great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Cocoplum! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Cocoplum. The house is lovely, well appointed and centrally located. Fantastic breezes from the large porch, which makes for a great reading spot. Very quiet as well, except for the occasional rooster :-) The House Manager was great and made check-in super easy.

The house was very nice...good central location and Carolyn and Jared were very attentive caretakers: Large pantry, LARGE porch, Large kitchen island (could use a few more bar stools), comfy beds, short walk to the beach straight down 17th Street, A/C worked GREAT when we needed it (but, it was so nice with the windows and doors opened). The island people are SO friendly and helped us find Stone crab when the store was closed on Sunday. Whoo Hoo . Two BRAND NEW bikes were delivered the day before we left. Brnad new dishwasher, brand new TV installed the day we arrived. One downfall was the little yapping dog next door....Other than that It was a great house. We enjoyed our TWO WEEKS stay.

Cocoplum will always have a special place in our hearts. The house and Spanish Wells were a perfect getaway from our cold winter home. Close to the grocery, beach and restaurants we couldn't have asked for a better spot. The neighbors are close but lush tropical foliage makes the home feel very private and special. Very easy to rent. House spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed but the kitchen needs some new knives. Beds and linens excellent. Caretaker very helpful and responsive. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful house with charm and a large yard. If you can’t get a house on the beach (or you don’t want one in the beach) this is a great option. Fully stocked house, plenty of room, huge cover deck of the raised first floor.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home in Spanish Wells. The house was beautiful, kept up nicely, and in a convenient location. There are great views to both sides of the island from upstairs. The housekeeper was very responsive and helpful as well. We greatly enjoyed our stay there, and hope to be back soon! Thank you!

My family of five, including three young adult daughters, all loved Cocoplum. The furnishings were comfortable and clean and had a contemporary, beachy vibe. What you see in the photos is utterly accurate. We loved being in the middle of a village (called “settlements” in Bahamas) with friendly neighbours, yet we never felt like anyone was too close, either. It was utterly quiet with only the sound of locals’ golf carts zipping nearby, the neighbour’s adorable goat bleating and hens clucking. Hens and roosters are all over the islands! It was nice to imagine that we were actually part of this community and that we didn’t have to return to the jarring noises and smells of the city we live in. Oh! And the air! Each morning I would step out onto the front covered porch and be amazed at the clarity of the air! It is so clean there. What a way to wake up; with a cup of coffee in your hands and to smell that clean, fresh air. The big grocery store in town is called Food Fair and was, I believe, renovated within this past year and is a bright and cheerful store. It is incredibly well stocked with fresh produce, dairy items, a variety of meats and packaged foods as well as a very good supply and variety of toiletry items and all other goods necessary for living in a house for a week or more. This store is easily within walking distance or a quick jaunt in your golf cart, if you choose to rent one. This house does not come with a cart, so be aware of that. We just discovered on our last full day on Spanish Wells that the nearest bar/restaurant, “Wreckers”, which is a ten minute walk away, and on the water, serves Starbucks coffee. Nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee or tea in a modern, clean, al fresco atmosphere. They also serve a very nice dinner and the staff are lovely and professional. That was a nice find. I also cannot say enough about Carolyn and Jarrod, the caretakers of Cocoplum. They live just around the corner and were so helpful to us, even picking us up at the dock on Christmas Eve and then even coming over Christmas evening because the gas tank had emptied for the gas range and we needed to cook our dinner. We were loath to disturb them on Christmas Day but had no choice. They were incredibly gracious. If we ever return to Spanish Wells, we will not hesitate to rent this house again. So beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. The care-taker Carolyn met us at the dock and took us to pick up our buggy and off to the house we went. She explained everything, showed us the property and we were left to start our relaxation. Beautiful view, immaculate furnishings and comfortable beds, was the best vacation! We just recently left Spanish Wells after a week at Cocoplum! The home was perfect for us with 4 adults and 3 young kids! Staying at cocoplum made our trip so enjoyable and we cannot wait to book again! Beautiful and comfortable with a great porch over looking the harbour!

We certainly enjoyed this newly built cottage and its quiet location. The bikes were used as transport all over this lovely island and we never missed the popular golf carts. Most of the day was shared between the porch and the beach(es) and served us well as top class relaxation. We would love to come back.
