We enjoyed our stay, it is situated in the middle of the keys which made the drive to Key West not bad. It was close to Marathon which had beaches & shopping. The area is clean and secure and quite, which we appreciated. We had everything we needed. Only thing we wish we had a bit more storage as the rooms are small and with suitcases and a pack and play made it hard to maneuver in. But we didn’t spend a lot of time at the condo it was fine. The wading pool was a big cold because of the time of year and it would have been nice to heat it up but we still enjoyed it one evening. All in all no complaints. We were not disappointed.

Came down for Labor Day weekend. Villa was clean with nice furnishings. Convenient location in the middle Keys. Owner was easy to deal with as far as rental arrangements, check-in and other instructions.

Great property, location was awesome. Definitely returning.

Enjoyed our stay here, beautiful front porch for mornings, we did see a cockroack in an upstairs bathroom though.

My friends and I have stayed at quite a few villas in Duck Key. Deborah’s is definitely one of the cleanest and nicest ever. She is a perfect host.

Fabulous Duck Key location with walkable area to dining. Easy driving access to the others Keys. Well appointed home with very responsive host and contact person. Comfortable and cozy. Spent every evening on the outside patio!

The property was exactly what we expected. It was clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The location was beautiful, quiet, well-maintained, and secure. Overall, we were very happy with it. We did contact the property manager upon arrival. She was very nice and welcoming. When we reached out again to ask why the splash pool was not operating properly we received no response. However someone did come to do maintenance on it during our stay and we advised them it was not working. They sent someone else out to repair it, but it was never fixed. It was a minor issue, so it did not hamper our stay. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely consider it in the future.

All was as it was represented. Clean, fully equipped and close to some nice areas to the keys. Well maintained. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely, well-stocked and equipped, comfortable villa with thoughtful touches. The kitchen included so many of the little things that are not always provided along with a set of chef worthy knives! The beds were extremely comfortable. Both bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, such a nice plus, along with an additional downstairs powder room. The owners were a delight to deal with throughout the process. We will be back!

The villa was nice and clean. It was small but comfortable. The furniture was nice and beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There's a boat dock but unfortunately you can't dock your boat, so it's pointless. Overall it was a good place to stay for a short trip.

This property is located in a beautiful spot in the mid-Keys. The property was just what we needed, a private spot with a fantastic back patio and a hot tub. Had told the owner we were coming for my wife’s birthday and a bottle of wine and a Happy Birthday balloon was on the table when we opened the door. How thoughtful. Property is a short drive to Marathon and all the restaurants and beaches. We had a great time there

one or two light bulbs were out, chairs at dinette are in need of felt pads--very noisy to move..pool skimmer dirty at arrival--wooden stairs at rear need attention...

The house was clean and nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Was very convenient for the event we were down for. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the keys and be centrally located to everything.

Excellent property to rent. Very nice villa, and stocked with everything you will need. The owners are very responsive, and being able to bring our dog on vacation was fantastic. We will definitely be renting again.

The hot tub took a bit get going and the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all we let the manager know and couldn’t get it fixed to hook up with the bad service

This is a great location and the house was just right for our family. Walking distance to a great restaurant and a nice quiet part of the neighborhood.

Duck key is always a good location to stay in the keys right in the middle. Hawks Cay is beautiful resort. Our unit had what appeared to be a lot of water damage on the ceiling and the return air vents NEED cleaned, they are black. As someone with asthma I appreciate clean air in my house/rental property. My husband was able to fish off the walkway in the back and caught a few snapper. Overall a decent place to stay for the price.

We were four adults. Bedrooms and bathrooms were small and one queen bed was against the wall which required one of us to crawl in. The splash pool jets did not shut off and the jets ran for two days. I left two messages for the property manager who returned my call on the third day, after we left the property. Prior to our stay someone stayed in the home with a dog. The stairway had dog hair on the white woodwork. We cleaned the handrail several times. Both bathroom doors needed to be wiped down as there were dirt smudges around door handles. The dining room chairs were wobbly and we set several aside and were afraid to use. These issues were mentioned to the property manager.

It’s was great experience. It was clean organized, had all tools in the kitchen, it was comfortable. Easy process to get in. Deborah sent an email before arrival with instructions and suggestions where to go for food. Thanks Deborah!

Deborah was very easy to communicate. We arrived early and had no problem getting in. They were very accommodating. Unit is a little older but was very clean. We were a little disappointed with the splash pool as it needs some work but none the less it did not ruin our trip. We still had a very nice stay. Everything we needed was in the unit. We would rent unit again in the future!

Made the mistake of renting from a VRBO owner instead of directly from Hawks Cay. The place is out dated and needs maintenance. To start, the beds were terrible! Old mattress that sunk in the middle and creak when you move. The bathroom door could use some WD40 so that it doesn't squeak when you open and close. The fan in one of the bedrooms was almost impossible to pull on to turn on and the light didn't work. Not to bad as far as cleanliness but you could see some dust and dirt in the corners of countertops and floors. No one wanted to get in the little pool because it looked old and dirty. We had trouble locking the door and tried calling the site manager but she didn't answer so we had to figure out and maneuver it to get it to work. We usually will over look some things here or there but for the price paid you're better off renting directly from the resort like we have before.
